Urban Martial Saint

Old Bodyguard glanced at the Lady Boss, then asked again, ”Where is he!”

The Lady Boss looked somewhat embarrassed and said, ”Old Master Tie, I truly don’t know where he is. I’m just an intermediary; I put out the jobs, but how they are done is his business. I can’t manage that much, and he doesn’t report his whereabouts to me all the time. Besides, I am a frail woman; how can I possibly manage all that?”

”Although I haven’t stepped into the teahouse for years, I am still very clear about the way you all operate,” Old Bodyguard quietly watched the Lady Boss and continued, ”Although you are just intermediaries and do not participate in the killings, to facilitate dealing with aftermath, for jobs over three million, you always secretly send someone to follow the case.

If the assassin leaves any issues unresolved, you can deal with them anytime. This job was worth thirty million; wouldn’t you send someone to follow it?”

The Lady Boss’s face changed; this was a secret of their teahouse, and she hadn’t expected that Old Bodyguard would know this too. Now that the conversation had reached this point, there was no point in concealing it anymore.

”Old Master Tie, you are quite familiar with our teahouse’s operations. It seems the Judge was right; although Old Master Tie has been out of world affairs for many years, nothing in Shenchuan City escapes Old Master Tie’s eyes,” the Lady Boss smiled and added, ”However, this is our teahouse’s secret, and I’m afraid it’s not convenient to disclose it to Old Master Tie.”

”I know this is your teahouse’s secret, which is why I came to ask you in person!” Old Bodyguard said, ”With my old face, I wonder if I could exchange it for a response?”

The Lady Boss’s expression changed again; Old Bodyguard was clearly using his status to coerce her. Old Bodyguard had a distinguished reputation in Shenchuan City, and if he came personally and didn’t get a response, wouldn’t that completely make enemies with the teahouse? No one knew what would happen if the Ghost-faced Judge and Old Bodyguard clashed.

But she truly did not wish for the two to confront each other, as the legends about Old Bodyguard were too terrifying!

The Lady Boss took a few deep breaths, her mind raced through numerous thoughts, and finally, she said with a faint smile, ”Old Master Tie has put me to shame by making such a personal visit. Since Old Master Tie has personally made the trip, of course, I won’t let you leave empty-handed.

Old Master Tie never steps into the teahouse, coming here today is a great honor, so I will change the rules just this once. Li Tianlu is still in Shenchuan City, at number thirty-three in North Suburb Big Li Village.”

”Very well!” Old Bodyguard stood up, bowed to the Lady Boss, and said, ”This statement, I will forever remember.”

The Lady Boss smiled faintly and said, ”Having a word from Old Master Tie, Momo is already overwhelmed. However, it puzzles Momo why Old Master Tie is looking for Li Tianlu first instead of Ye Qing.”

Old Bodyguard said, ”The matter with Ye Qing, we can talk about another time. But Wang Tiezhu, an innocent person, should not be implicated.”

The Lady Boss slowly nodded and said, ”I’ve long heard that Old Master Tie is clear about gratitude and grudges, and hates evil as if it’s a personal enemy. Seeing you today, the reputation is indeed well-deserved. Li Tianlu’s actions are indeed too despicable; such a person does not deserve to work for our teahouse.”

The Lady Boss was very astute, directly severing the relationship between Li Tianlu and the teahouse. Old Bodyguard didn’t say anything more and left the teahouse with Tall Man straightaway.

Watching Old Bodyguard’s car drive away, Lady Boss breathed a sigh of relief and then frowned again. This matter had unexpectedly drawn out Old Bodyguard, implying that it was no longer under the teahouse’s control.

”These thirty million, really aren’t easy to earn!” The Lady Boss shook her head, turned back to her table, and continued savoring her cup of tea.

Old Bodyguard drove directly to number thirty-three in North Suburb Big Li Village, a residential house with a courtyard. Tall Man wanted to go over, but Old Bodyguard stopped him with his hand.

”Wait here.” Old Bodyguard left these words and directly walked up to the front gate, gently pushing against the wooden door. The door was locked from the inside, he pulled his hand back about half a foot and then suddenly pushed forward powerfully, striking the door.

With a loud bang, the door latch was broken, and the courtyard door was pushed open.

At the same time, the room, which had been lit, suddenly went dark, completely black inside.

Tall Man stood outside, seeing the light in the house go out, and felt some anxiety. He knew Li Tianlu’s name; he was a first-rank assassin from the teahouse’s seventh table, with formidable skills.

Moreover, assassins are most adept at hidden ambushes. In such dark conditions, where Old Bodyguard didn’t know what was inside, and with a first-rank assassin hiding inside, ready to launch a deadly attack at any moment, Tall Man would definitely not dare to rashly enter, as he wasn’t sure he could evade the strike.

But Old Bodyguard did not hesitate at all and walked straight into the house. Tall Man could not see anything happening inside, only heard a muffled shout, then a shadow flew out of the house, heavily falling on the ground outside, struggling a few times but unable to get up.

Before long, Old Bodyguard walked out of the house, supporting a young man covered in injuries, who was indeed Wang Tiezhu.

Tall Man hurried over, helping Old Bodyguard to support Wang Tiezhu. Looking at the shadow in the courtyard, it was indeed Li Tianlu, the seventh-table assassin from the teahouse. He was seriously injured, blood continuously dribbling from the corner of his mouth, lying on the ground gasping for air, lacking the strength to struggle anymore.

”Who are you… you people?” Li Tianlu said with a trembling voice, facing Old Bodyguard, he dared not show any arrogance. Because, when he ambushed from inside the house, launching a lethal attack, it was casually neutralized by Old Bodyguard. Moreover, from a close range, he was punched and directly knocked out of the house, causing severe injuries.

Li Tianlu was not weak himself, but it was the first time he had been punched and brought to this state. He knew clearly that this man was definitely beyond what he could handle. If he wanted to kill him, it would just be a matter of lifting a finger.

The Old Bodyguard glanced at him, his voice cold as he said, ”Not even recognizing the Half-Step Collapse Fist, what makes you qualified to be an assassin!”

Li Tianlu’s face changed, and he stammered, ”You... you... you are Iron... ”

He didn’t dare to finish his sentence, because he was truly frightened. The four words ”Half-Step Collapse Fist” had revealed the identity of the Old Bodyguard. Losing to the Old Bodyguard, Li Tianlu had not the slightest objection!

”If you want to become a top-level assassin, these methods are useless,” the Old Bodyguard slowly walked to the doorway, his voice cold as he said, ”To strike at innocent people, you have already violated the rules of assassins. You are forbidden from setting foot in Shenchuan City for ten years!”

Li Tianlu hastily bowed his head, saying, ”I understand!”

The Old Bodyguard’s words were like an Imperial Edict, and he truly dared not disobey in the slightest, because he knew full well the terror of the Old Bodyguard from the evaluations the Ghost-faced Judge had made of his abilities.

Supporting the semi-conscious Wang Tiezhu into the car, the tall man asked, ”Master, where are we headed now?”

The Old Bodyguard decisively said, ”Tian Sheng!”

”Oh.” The tall man started the car and hesitated slightly, then said, ”Master, actually Ye Qing is not a bad person, he was just a bit impulsive. Can you... can you perhaps show him some mercy?”

The Old Bodyguard remained silent, closing his eyes again. The tall man knew he could not persuade him and could only sigh, driving directly towards Tian Sheng.

Tian Sheng was still bustling at the moment. After sending the children away, Ye Qing had also given all the janitors and cooks leave. Tian Sheng was only occupied by Ye Qing, Black Bear, and Mad Dog’s subordinates, but Ye Qing had not yet returned to Tian Sheng when a group of uninvited guests arrived.

Seven cars blocked the entrance of Tian Sheng solidly. Three to four dozen men dressed in samurai attire stormed into Tian Sheng, their arrogant and domineering manner even more oppressive than that of the criminal underworld. No sooner had they entered Tian Sheng than they smashed ten or so lamps and shattered more than twenty bottles of liquor.

One of Mad Dog’s minions went over to talk, but was kicked in the chest by the leader, sent flying five or six meters away, landing on the ground unable to get up.

The surrounding crowd cheered, greatly admiring the leader’s strength, as if they were in the midst of a wild celebration.

”What’s going on? What’s going on?” Black Bear immediately rushed over from the lobby, and seeing the situation, he couldn’t help but frown, ”What are you doing?”

The leader glanced at a man next to him, who quickly gabbled a translation. The leader frowned, grabbed a wooden chair next to him, and handed it to several men around him.

They gripped the chair tightly, and with a loud shout from their leader, kicked the wooden chair into pieces. The crowd around them cheered again, and it had to be said, this man was really quite strong.

The leader smiled triumphantly, turned and pointed at Black Bear, babbling more words, all in Stick Country language.

The man next to him arrogantly translated, ”This is a top-level Taekwondo master from Stick Country, the renowned Taekwondo master, the head Taekwondo coach of Eastern Province, the three-time Eastern Province combat champion, the great Taekwondo king, Mr. Jin Yi Nan!”

Black Bear waved his hand with impatience, saying, ”I don’t care if you’re Jin Yi Nan or whatever, you break stuff, you pay for it!”

”Enough talk!” the man said, ”Mr. Jin Yi Nan is here looking for an arrogant fool named Ye Qing, who I assume is the boss here. Hmph, I don’t know what despicable methods he used to defeat two of Mr. Jin Yi Nan’s disciples, bringing shame to the world’s strongest boxing technique, Taekwondo. Today, Mr.

Jin Yi Nan is here personally to teach this fool a lesson, to show him what real Taekwondo, what real martial arts are. If you have any sense, call that Ye out now. If he continues to hide like a turtle, we will smash this whole Tian Sheng!”

”Damn it, you’re here to wreck the place, aren’t you!” Black Bear glared and said, ”No need to look for the boss, I’ll fight you!”

The translator looked Black Bear up and down, laughing mockingly, ”Big guy, don’t think just because you’re big, you can really fight. Let me tell you, Mr. Jin Yi Nan has beaten stronger men than you before. It’s better not to overplay your hand, just hurry up and call that coward Ye Qing out!”
