Urban Martial Saint

”I heard there’s a Divine Doctor named Lin Tianyou in Shenchuan City, who’s very skilled. If we can find him, Xiao Bei’s illness might be cured,” said Huang Fulin, hesitating slightly before adding, ”But Divine Doctor Lin usually seems very busy, and it’s probably hard for ordinary people even to meet him. I’ll take Xiao Bei to the city in the next few days and try anyway.

We must find a way to meet Divine Doctor Lin.”

Huo Pingping, standing next to Ye Qing, immediately laughed upon hearing this. ”What’s so difficult about meeting Lin Tianyou?”

”What?” Huang Fulin was stunned and looked at Huo Pingping in amazement, asking, ”Miss, do you... do you know Divine Doctor Lin? I’ve heard that it’s difficult for even many important people in Shenchuan City to meet him once. We farmers, if we have to make an appointment, who knows how long we’ll have to wait. Miss, do... do you really know Divine Doctor Lin?”

”I don’t know him!” Huo Pingping paused, seeing Huang Fulin’s disappointed expression, she said, ”But someone does!”

”Who?” Huang Fulin asked anxiously. ”Miss, can... can you introduce me?”

”What introduction? You already know him!” Huo Pingping said mischievously with a smile, ”The soldier, he is very good friends with that Divine Doctor Lin. To meet Divine Doctor Lin, it only takes a word from the soldier!”

”The soldier?” Huang Fulin had not reacted fully yet, but by the time he came to his senses, Ye Qing had already taken out his mobile phone and gone out to call Lin Tianyou.

After finishing the call, Ye Qing walked into the room and told Huang Fulin, ”Elder Huang, I’ve arranged everything for you. Doctor Lin will be back in Shenchuan City in three days. He will treat Xiao Bei first, how does that sound?”

Huang Fulin was overjoyed, too excited to speak clearly, and just stuttered his thanks to Ye Qing continuously.

Having left Lin Tianyou’s phone number with Huang Fulin and instructed him to call Lin Tianyou in three days, Ye Qing had already arranged everything.

Huang Fulin read over Lin Tianyou’s number several times until he knew it by heart, then carefully slipped the piece of paper into his pocket.

”Boss Ye, I’ll see you out,” said Huang Fulin as he personally escorted Ye Qing downstairs. Just as they reached the gate of the farm, he sensed that something was amiss.

At the farm’s gate, there gathered more than twenty unkempt youths and two beaten-up cars. Several youths sat in the cars, blaring noisy music. A few others, with hair dyed in bright colors looking rather fashionable, swayed to the music beside them, seemingly having a great time.

”It’s them again!” Huang Fulin’s face changed immediately, clearly very displeased with these youths.

”Who are these people?” asked Fang Tingyun curiously.

”Don’t worry about it!” Huang Fulin waved his hands repeatedly and said, ”Boss Ye, you all go ahead. It’s nothing big. I’ll handle the design work; I have an old colleague who specializes in this, so there won’t be any problems.”

As he spoke, Huang Fulin pushed Ye Qing, trying to get him into the car. However, Ye Qing had no intention of leaving.

”Elder Huang, these people don’t seem friendly,” Ye Qing said calmly as he watched the crowd outside, noticing Huang Ziqiang among them.

The Huang brothers, three in total. Huang Ziying was pushed down the stairs by Ye Qing and broke a leg. Huang Zixiong kidnapped Xiao Bei and was caught and beaten by Ye Qing in a small forest, having both arms broken and tied to a tree, surely unable to join them. That left Huang Ziqiang unharmed, apparently the leader of this group.

”Boss Ye, you don’t have to worry about them; they’re just a bunch of ruffians!” Huang Fulin said. ”Just go ahead, they often come here to make trouble. I’ll call the police in a while, and they’ll run off as soon as the police get here. There won’t be any problem.”

While they were speaking, several of the youths started to approach. The one leading them had flaming red hair, and despite the blistering heat, was clad in a leather jacket, looking like a hoodlum. Unfortunately, his face greatly differed from Chen Haonan’s, and paired with the long hair, he was indeed hideously ugly.

Unaware, he swaggered along, occasionally flipping his hair as if he were cool, not realizing his dandruff was flying about.

Seeing the youths approach, Huang Fulin grew more anxious, pushing Ye Qing and urging, ”Boss Ye, you should go now, it’s alright, it’s alright. Just like we agreed in the contract, you can come over to build the house any time!”

”Elder Huang, you don’t need to worry!” Ye Qing calmly pushed Huang Fulin’s hand away.

”Boss Ye, you should still go,” Huang Fulin finally couldn’t help but insist. ”These are just some local thugs from the town who like to fight and brawl, definitely not good people. If you stay, they will surely attack you; it’s better if you leave quickly!”

”Fighting, huh? I love fighting!” Li Lianshan suddenly perked up, calling over a few of his men, ”Come on, bring out my tool!”

”Elder Huang, these kinds of people, if you don’t sort them out once, they’ll keep coming back to bother you,” Ye Qing said calmly. ”I want to build an orphanage here and need to ensure there’s no trouble in the future. Don’t worry, these guys are nothing to me!”

As he spoke, Li Lianshan’s men brought out a hefty Mountain-splitter Knife. A man held the knife with both hands, which showed its considerable heft.

Li Lianshan took the Mountain-splitter Knife and walked straight up to Ye Qing. At that moment, Long Hair also approached with a few men. From a distance, he pointed at Ye Qing and his group, shouting, ”You bastards, making trouble on my turf, do you not know the name of Da Fei from Eryao Town, you...”

”You you you, what ’you’?” Li Lianshan suddenly raised the Mountain-splitter Knife he was holding, pointing it at Da Fei, saying, ”Damn it, out here we don’t waste words. If you can fight, don’t waste your breath. Come on, is it a one-on-one or a brawl, you decide!”

Da Fei was immediately stunned; the presence of Li Lianshan’s Mountain-splitter Knife overwhelmed him tremendously. From afar, the knife must weigh at least twenty or thirty kilograms—a feat not so simple for one person to handle!

”You... you... don’t think just because your knife is bigger than others’ that you’re tough,” Da Fei feigned calmness and said, ”So what if the knife is heavy, I have so many brothers, are you thinking of a gang fight? Fine, let’s go!”

”Damn, why even talk then!” shouted Li Lianshan. He didn’t strike but handed the Mountain-splitter Knife to a subordinate and casually took a regular machete, shouting, ”Come on, all of you!”

Seeing his demeanor, Ye Qing couldn’t help but ask, ”Li, why aren’t you using that knife?”

”Damn, that knife weighs thirty-three kilograms, how can I use it?” Li Lianshan whispered, ”That knife is just for show, this one is my real weapon!”

Ye Qing smirked, reached out to pull Li Lianshan back, signaling him to retreat.

”Leave it to me!” Ye Qing said softly, effortlessly picking up the thirty-three-kilogram Mountain-splitter Knife from Li Lianshan and walked straight up to Da Fei.

”Must we really fight?” asked Ye Qing, holding the knife with a calm face as if he wasn’t facing several people.

Da Fei, underestimating Ye Qing’s ordinary physique, immediately said, ”Damn, not fight? Why did I bring so many people then? If you don’t want to fight, fine, you…”

Before he could finish, Ye Qing simply shook his head, ”Can’t do that!”

Da Fei glared and said, ”Damn, I haven’t even spoken yet and you’re saying it can’t be done?”

Ye Qing said, ”Either you guys get lost or we fight, there is no third option!”

”Fuck, you’re really damn arrogant!” Da Fei became furious, and with a roar, more than twenty youths immediately gathered around, encircling Ye Qing.

”Boss Ye...” Huang Fulin was extremely nervous, but luckily, Fang Tingyun was comforting him by his side. Fang Tingyun knew Ye Qing’s capabilities well, so she wasn’t worried at all.

Relying on their numbers, Da Fei became even more arrogant and looked at Ye Qing sideways, saying, ”Kid, still want to fight?”

Ye Qing answered briskly, punching Da Fei in the face, causing him to immediately crouch down, covering his nose.

”Kill him...” Da Fei let out a deafening roar, and his henchmen immediately charged forward shouting.

Ye Qing suddenly threw the Mountain-splitter Knife into the air; Da Fei’s men stopped abruptly, all looking up. Such a heavy knife falling on anyone could cause severe injury.

However, the Mountain-splitter Knife didn’t fall on anyone but dropped vertically towards Ye Qing. Seeing the speed of the descending knife, everyone held their breath, including Li Lianshan and Huo Pingping who also felt their hearts racing.

Under the shocked gazes of the crowd, Ye Qing suddenly reached out and grabbed the handle of the falling knife. The force with which the Mountain-splitter Knife was descending was completely stopped by Ye Qing’s single hand, making everyone involuntarily cry out in amazement.

”Damn, show off much!” Li Lianshan complained bitterly. He had specially paid to have the knife made, and he hadn’t even used it himself yet.

Ye Qing gripped the Mountain-splitter Knife tightly and pointed at the twenty-plus youths opposite him, saying, ”Come on!”

The twenty-plus youths looked at each other bewilderedly. Finally, Huang Ziqiang roared, ”Damn it, dare to hurt Brother Da Fei, I’ll fight you. Brothers, let’s go together; he’s just one person, don’t be afraid of him!”

Huang Ziqiang charging forward, but when he realized that no one else was following, he became hugely embarrassed. However, having run up to this point, retreating was out of the question. He could only grit his teeth and raise his steel pipe, forcefully smashing it down on Ye Qing.

Ye Qing raised his hand to meet the attack with the Mountain-splitter Knife, and the steel pipe was cleaved in half upon colliding with the knife. The impact also caused Huang Ziqiang’s hand to bleed from the base of his thumb, paining him so much that he immediately threw down the steel pipe and thought of retreating.

Ye Qing didn’t give him the chance, swinging the knife down at him.

Huang Ziqiang, terrified, went weak in the knees, forgetting even to dodge, and could only instinctively close his eyes. The bystanders also widened their eyes in shock, thinking this strike might split Huang Ziqiang in two.

Just as the Mountain-splitter Knife was about to hit Huang Ziqiang’s head, Ye Qing suddenly shifted slightly to the side. The knife missed Huang Ziqiang’s head and shoulder, sliding down his arm and cutting off a piece of his sleeve instead. His arm, however, was unscathed - the precision and control of that force was truly awe-inspiring!
