Urban Martial Saint

For Wang Tiezhu’s safety, Ye Qing could no longer care about anything else at this moment, wanting only to find Wang Tiezhu as soon as possible. Seeing Ding Shaoyan lie like that, he feared that Wang Tiezhu was more likely dead than alive; therefore, his heart was now filled with anger and he had no intention of holding back.

”Those who block you will die?” Wu Xinghuai scoffed, ”Mr. Ye, this is a society governed by law. Do you dare to kill? Damn it, everyone, come on, stop him!”

The people from the martial arts school rushed to block Ye Qing, knowing the Ding Family’s strength; they saw this as an opportunity to curry favor with Young Master Ding. Moreover, they were convinced that Ye Qing wouldn’t dare to kill and were indifferent to the possibility of getting injured in the process.

With a cold expression, Ye Qing charged straight into the crowd. Wu Xinghuai was at the forefront, raising his hand to strike at Ye Qing while shouting, ”Mr. Ye, if you dare, kill me first!”

Dodging Wu Xinghuai’s fist, Ye Qing grabbed his wrist and twisted hard. A cracking sound was heard as Wu Xinghuai’s arm was instantly dislocated by Ye Qing, causing Wu Xinghuai such pain he nearly passed out.

But Ye Qing had no intention of letting him go. With another punch to Wu Xinghuai’s face, his face instantly contorted and deformed. He had already been injured by a punch from Ye Qing the day before, and now another punch had nearly cost him half his life. Devoid of his former arrogance, he used one hand to cover his face, trying to retreat.

Ye Qing, unforgiving, caught his wrist again and pulled him forward, kicking him in the chest. Wu Xinghuai instantly had several ribs broken.

At this point, Wu Xinghuai was thoroughly terrified. After suffering three blows, he felt as if his life was nearly over. And Ye Qing still wasn’t letting go; it looked like he intended to beat him more, and at this moment, Wu Xinghuai truly didn’t doubt whether Ye Qing dared to kill someone. It was clear from his actions that those who blocked him would indeed die!

”Let go of our master!” One of the disciples charged forward, shouting as he pulled out a dagger and stabbed it straight at Ye Qing’s chest.

Ye Qing didn’t dodge; instead, he pulled Wu Xinghuai back into the path of the dagger. The disciple didn’t have time to withdraw, and it looked like the blade would pierce Wu Xinghuai’s heart. All the onlookers couldn’t help but cry out in shock.

Just at this critical moment, the short man suddenly rushed over, grabbing the disciple and pulling him back, thus preventing the tragic outcome of Wu Xinghuai being killed by his own disciple. Wu Xinghuai, terrified to a deathly pallor, collapsed, sprawling limp onto the ground.

As for the others from the school, seeing Ye Qing’s frenzied attacks, they too became petrified. They realized that Ye Qing truly dared to kill!

”Mr. Ye, do you really need to be so ruthless?” the short man asked gravely, coughing up blood from his injuries.

”Hand over Wang Tiezhu!” Ye Qing repeated.

The short man shouted, ”Wang Tiezhu isn’t with us!”

Without another word, Ye Qing walked directly toward Ding Shaoyan. He was sure that Wang Tiezhu had been kidnapped by Young Master Ding, so now his target was firmly set on Young Master Ding.

Seeing Ye Qing’s dominance, Ding Shaoyan trembled with fear. As a scion of a great family in Shenchuan City, he was someone whom no one dared to provoke or bully, and he had never considered anyone else worth his notice. He had not regarded Ye Qing previously, but now he suddenly realized that, in fact, it was Ye Qing who didn’t regard him at all.

In Ye Qing’s eyes, the illustrious Young Master Ding was less important than Wang Tiezhu, a poor student struggling to survive!

”Mr. Ye, what... what exactly do you want?” Ding Shaoyan retreated repeatedly, his face finally showing panic, ”I... I really don’t know anything about Wang Tiezhu... I truly can’t hand him over to you!”

Ye Qing said sternly, ”Hand him over to me, and you can leave. If you don’t, you won’t be walking out of here today!”

”How can you be so unreasonable?” Ding Shaoyan pleaded desperately, ”Wang Tiezhu wasn’t kidnapped by me, you’re just wronging me. Is this your style?”

”Wronging you?” A cold glint flashed in Ye Qing’s eyes, ”Was I wronging you about the matter with Wang Lili?”

Ding Shaoyan opened his mouth but couldn’t refute. He had intended to lie, but he knew that he couldn’t conceal the truth and could only tacitly admit it.

”What exactly happened with Wang Lili?” the short man asked from the side.

”Ask your beloved nephew yourself!” Ye Qing gritted his teeth and looked at Ding Shaoyan, saying sternly, ”Just the incident with Wang Lili alone is enough reason for you to deserve death. Even if Wang Tiezhu wasn’t taken by you, it’s past time I dealt with you over this.

This time, either hand him over to me and we can discuss other matters later, or if you’ve taken Wang Tiezhu, I’ll take you instead, and have your Ding family exchange him for your return!”

Sweating profusely, Ding Shaoyan pleaded, ”I... I really don’t know where Wang Tiezhu is, how can my family find him for you?”

”Mr. Ye, I’m unclear about what happened with Wang Lili, but I urge you to not be too impulsive. Damaging the Xingyi Martial Arts School is one thing, but if this involves the Ding Family and you abduct Ding Shaoyan, things will escalate!” the short man solemnly advised Ye Qing, knowing that once the matter implicated the Ding Family, it would become very difficult to resolve.

”Let it escalate then!” Ye Qing replied coldly, ”If Wang Tiezhu is dead, I’ll make sure Ding Shaoyan keeps him company in death.”

```
”Ah?” Ding Shaoyan was startled and said in a hurry, ”You... What kind of reasoning is this? What does Wang Tiezhu’s death have to do with me? Why should I be buried with him? Ye, I warn you, don’t get too arrogant!”
Ye Qing didn’t say a word and walked straight towards Ding Shaoyan.
”You... don’t come over…” Ding Shaoyan was so scared that he kept backing up, but once he was in the hall, he had no way out.
”Ye Qing, stop your wild behavior!” The tall man roared as he charged over to stop Ye Qing, but he was still pushed back by Ye Qing. Both he and the short man were injured, and the gap between them and Ye Qing was only growing larger, so they couldn’t stop Ye Qing at all.
Seeing that both his kung fu senior uncles were no match for Ye Qing, Ding Shaoyan was so frightened that his whole body shivered as he said with a trembling voice, ”Save... Save me, you... you guys stop him, save me…”
The people from Xingyi Martial Arts School wanted to ingratiate themselves with him, but they also wanted to save their own lives. Just now, when Wu Xinghuai took a stand, he nearly lost his life. Now, who would dare to help Ding Shaoyan?
Ye Qing walked up to Ding Shaoyan and was about to reach out when Ding Shaoyan immediately crouched down, holding his head and said with a trembling voice, ”Don’t hit me... Don’t hit me...”
Ye Qing didn’t hit him and just grabbed his neck and lifted him up. In Ye Qing’s hands, Ding Shaoyan was like a little chicken, with no resistance at all.
”Mr. Ye...” The short man endured his churning blood and said in a deep voice, ”Don’t... don’t make a big deal out of this. The Ding Family is not... not something the Lin family can compare to. Although you’re powerful, this...
Shenchuan City has people who can suppress you, you should forgive when it’s possible to...”
”Forgive when it’s possible to?” Ye Qing laughed coldly and said, ”You should ask Ding Shaoyan that. Wang Tiezhu, a poor student, what did he do to wrong him that he was fed so much white powder? Wang Lili, a middle school student, what did she do that Ding Shaoyan had someone force her to sell her body?
A sixteen-year-old girl was driven to jump off a building, is this your idea of forgiving when possible? Bah!”
Having said this, Ye Qing suddenly grabbed Ding Shaoyan’s neck and kicked him in the chest. Ding Shaoyan’s weight of one hundred and thirty-something pounds was kicked by Ye Qing all the way from the hall to the yard where he fell and couldn’t get up for a long time.
”Shao Yan!”
”Young Master Ding!”
The short man and the crowd from the martial arts school exclaimed in unison, all taken aback by Ye Qing’s sudden and violent move. Seeing Ding Shaoyan continuously spitting blood, everyone’s expression was trembling. With that kick, Ye Qing had now made an enemy of the Ding Family!
”Ye, you... you dare to hit me...” Ding Shaoyan, clutching his chest, roared, ”My... our Ding Family will definitely not let you off...”
Ye Qing said coldly, ”Before I die, I will make sure to kill you first!”
Ding Shaoyan trembled, truly frightened by Ye Qing’s assertiveness. When a person is willing to risk even their life, they become truly fearless.
The proverb that says, ”One who doesn’t mind throwing away his life can even pull an Emperor off the horse,” applies here. No matter if it’s the Ding Family or the Lin family, if Ye Qing really sought his life, then he probably couldn’t escape indeed!
Listening to Ye Qing’s words just now, the short man’s expression also changed drastically. He knew Ding Shaoyan was domineering outside, but he didn’t know about these heinous acts. It was the first time he heard about the Wang Tiezhu and Wang Lili incidents. He could not help but glare at Ding Shaoyan, feeling very dissatisfied with him.
Now he finally understood why Ye Qing was so determined to take Ding Shaoyan away—it seemed that Ding Shaoyan had crossed Ye Qing’s bottom line!
”Mr. Ye, about the things you mentioned, I will report them to the Master and ask him to handle this matter. But, could you please let go of Shao Yan first? After all, he is part of the Ding Family,” the short man said in a deep voice. No matter what Ding Shaoyan had done, he couldn’t just watch as Ye Qing took him away.
Ye Qing said coldly, ”Bring Wang Tiezhu to me, and I will release Ding Shaoyan!”
The short man said in a hurry, ”If you take Ding Shaoyan away, solving this matter won’t be so simple!”
”Then don’t solve it. I just want Wang Tiezhu to come back safe and sound!” Ye Qing left these words behind and no longer paid attention to the short man, dragging Ding Shaoyan out of Xingyi Martial Arts School.
The short man wanted to intercept him, but he was seriously injured at the moment and couldn’t stop Ye Qing at all. As for the others, they were even less capable. They could only watch helplessly as Ye Qing took Ding Shaoyan away.
”Senior brother, what should we do?” The tall man came over, holding his chest and asked urgently, ”Should we contact the Ding Family?”
”Don’t!” The short man quickly waved his hand and after a moment of tight-lipped silence said deeply, ”You go and invite the Master over. Xing Huai, tell me everything about Wang Tiezhu and Wang Lili, honestly from beginning to end. Remember, no falsehoods. Otherwise, you know our ancestor’s methods!”
