Urban Martial Saint

Seeing Ye Qing’s swiftly executed move, Wu Xinghuai and the others were alarmed. Many of them had already experienced Ye Qing’s punches and knew the power behind them.

”Ha!” With a loud shout, the shorter man took a half step forward in rhythm, striking directly at Ye Qing’s chest with the most terrifying move of Xingyi Quan, the Half-Step Collapse Fist. However, it seemed he intentionally aimed at Ye Qing’s fist, almost colliding with it face to face.

At that moment, the taller man charged over and blocked Ye Qing’s punch, allowing the shorter man to dodge the hit.

The two men were disciples of the same mentor and learned together; they usually practiced martial arts together and understood each other remarkably well. The courage shown by the shorter man in his advance was because he knew the taller man would definitely come to his aid.

Consequently, Ye Qing ended up pulling the shorter man close to himself, within less than a foot from the Half-Step Collapse Fist.

If this had been earlier, Ye Qing would likely have been unable to dodge this hit. But after Ke Ren stimulated the thirty-six vital points throughout his body, his strength had increased significantly. Seeing the furious punch of the shorter man, Ye Qing took a deep breath and surprisingly pulled both the shorter and the taller man back two steps, retreating nearly half a meter.

The power of Half-Step Collapse Fist was terrifying but existed only within that half-step. If the distance was increased, it couldn’t reach the target, which was its only flaw.

The shorter and the taller man were both grabbing Ye Qing, but they didn’t anticipate that Ye Qing could still move back under such circumstances. The strength of Ye Qing indeed shocked both men. In that moment of astonishment, Ye Qing suddenly stepped forward and slammed his shoulder heavily into the taller man.

The three of them were in close proximity, and Ye Qing acted extremely swiftly. The taller man couldn’t dodge in time, could only try to block with his hands, but it was too rushed, and he was pushed back several steps by Ye Qing’s move.

The shorter man was too late to help, and seeing the taller man being pushed back, he hurriedly reached out to grab Ye Qing’s wrist, twisting it with force.

Ye Qing countered by grabbing the shorter man’s wrist and, with his other hand, grabbed his shoulder. With a loud shout, he lifted the shorter man completely and threw him over his shoulder.

The shorter man, unprepared for Ye Qing’s move, couldn’t resist and was heavily slammed to the ground. Fortunately, the taller man rushed over in time, pulling Ye Qing’s hands away, thus preventing the shorter man from being hit again.

The surrounding crowd was stunned; they had initially thought that with both senior disciples acting, Ye Qing would surely lose. However, Ye Qing was so formidable that not even the combined effort of the two senior disciples could gain any advantage. In fact, it appeared they couldn’t stop Ye Qing at all!

The taller man also didn’t dare to attack rashly, but instead pushed Ye Qing back, waiting for the shorter man to stand up so they could confront Ye Qing together. Having been at a disadvantage earlier, they didn’t dare to act recklessly again but rather maintained their positions and fought together against Ye Qing.

The two men coordinated excellently, and in doing so, Ye Qing couldn’t gain any advantage for the time being. The situation lasted for nearly five minutes; Ye Qing, anxious in his heart, suddenly rushed forward, disregarding the exposed vulnerability on his chest, and charged directly at the taller man.

The taller man didn’t dodge, as if he had anticipated Ye Qing’s move, he brought his hands together to block it. Meanwhile, the shorter man seized the opportunity to strike with the Half-Step Collapse Fist, hitting Ye Qing hard in the chest.

Ye Qing couldn’t dodge this punch and was hit hard on the chest by the shorter man. However, he also reached in front of the two men but didn’t hit the taller man; instead, he punched the shorter man hard on the chest.

The two exchanged punches, both retreating several steps and spitting blood at the same time. Although the shorter man’s strength was not equal to Ye Qing’s, the power of the Half-Step Collapse Fist was extremely terrifying, causing even Ye Qing, who was hit by it, to be injured.

However, after taking a punch from Ye Qing, the shorter man’s situation was more troublesome.

Though Ye Qing’s punch wasn’t as powerful as the Half-Step Collapse Fist, the shorter man’s physique couldn’t match Ye Qing’s, giving truth to the saying ’the fists fear the young and robust.’ Having taken a punch, he had essentially lost the capability to fight again, whereas Ye Qing was only mildly injured.

”Brother!” Seeing the shorter man injured and spitting blood, the taller man roared furiously and charged at Ye Qing.

”Don’t go!” It was too late for the shorter man to stop him; the taller man reached Ye Qing and after exchanging a few blows, was still no match, and was punched back by Ye Qing. His condition was the same as the shorter man’s, spitting blood and unable to fight again!

”Senior brothers! Senior brothers!” Wu Xinghuai and others hurriedly surrounded them, having realized from the start that these two senior brothers were not Ye Qing’s match. However, they didn’t expect that the senior brothers would be defeated so quickly.

Actually, it wasn’t easy for Ye Qing to defeat them either. He had deliberately shown a vulnerability earlier to buy time, drawing the taller man to defend and the shorter to attack. This way, even though he had to endure a punch from the shorter man, he could also strike back with one punch, determining the winner in the shortest time.

”I concede!” Ye Qing wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and said solemnly, ”I’m truly sorry, I must be responsible for my friend’s life, I apologize for the offense!”

Having said this, Ye Qing was about to walk into the Xingyi Martial Arts School, but Wu Xinghuai and others directly blocked him.

”You injured our two senior brothers and now you want to search our Xingyi Martial Arts School? You are too overbearing!” Wu Xinghuai roared furiously, ”Ye, if you are brave, kill us all. To search the Xingyi Martial Arts School, you’ll have to step over our dead bodies!”

Ye Qing frowned and said sternly, ”Get out of the way!”

”Impossible!” Wu Xinghuai shouted, and the disciples also stood there blocking the way, seemingly ready to die valiantly.

Ye Qing was somewhat at a loss for a moment, and he indeed admired the spirit demonstrated by these people at that time. However, since it concerned Wang Tiezhu’s life and death, he dared not delay. After hesitating for a moment, he was about to make his move when suddenly, the sound of a motorcycle engine came from outside.

Everyone turned to look, and Ye Qing also turned his head just in time to see a car stopping outside. A man got off the car, and it was indeed Ding Shaoyan.

Ding Shaoyan hadn’t seen the situation in the yard yet and was shouting as he walked towards the yard, ”I heard Great Master Uncle and Second Senior Uncle came? Old Wu, you must make them avenge me. When will they summon that guy Ye to give him a good thrashing, I...”

His words froze there because he had entered the yard and saw Ye Qing standing there, as well as the situation in the yard. He wasn’t a fool and immediately knew the situation was bad, hastily turned around to leave, but Ye Qing quickly caught up with him. Grabbing his neck, he flipped him over into the yard.

”Thinking of leaving?” Ye Qing’s expression was cold as he looked at Ding Shaoyan, who had fallen to the ground, and said sternly, ”Hand Wang Tiezhu over to me!”

”What Wang Tiezhu?” Ding Shaoyan, annoyed from the fall, retorted angrily, ”Ye, don’t be too arrogant. I’m telling you, if you provoke me too much, I definitely won’t let you off. Don’t think just because you have the support of Zhao Family and Lin Family you can act recklessly in Shenchuan City. If our Ding Family decides to deal with you, no one can protect you!”

Ye Qing was not moved at all and said sternly, ”I’ll say it again, hand over Wang Tiezhu!”

”Cut the crap, I’ll say it again too, I don’t know what you’re talking about!” Ding Shaoyan, as he got up, noticed the short and tall ones next to him, spitting blood, and his expression slightly changed. He had hoped those two Senior Uncles could defeat Ye Qing, but it apparently disappointed him, and he was also shocked by Ye Qing’s strength.

Ding Shaoyan was well aware of these senior uncles’ strength; since even they had lost, Ye Qing’s power was indeed terrifying. Could it be that only the family’s old bodyguard or the little Senior Uncle could defeat him?

”You’re still pretending!” Ye Qing frowned and charged towards Ding Shaoyan.

Unprepared for Ye Qing’s frantic behavior and seeing his threats couldn’t intimidate Ye Qing, Ding Shaoyan panicked for a moment and hurriedly backed away.

”Mr. Ye...” The short one, suppressing the turmoil of energy inside, said with a deep voice, ”We need to investigate this matter thoroughly. I understand you... you’re worried about your friend’s safety, but... but we can’t just wrongly accuse people. Can you wait a moment...

I’ll help you ask, is that okay?”

Ye Qing glanced at the short one and finally stood still, giving face to him.

The short one turned to Ding Shaoyan and said in a deep voice, ”Shao Yan, Mr. Ye said you kidnapped his friend Wang Tiezhu, is there such a thing?”

”What are you talking about?” Ding Shaoyan responded in astonishment, ”Great Master Uncle, I’ve never even seen his friend, how could I kidnap him?”

”So you’re saying you didn’t kidnap his friend?” the short one, staring at Ding Shaoyan, said, ”Shao Yan, I hope you tell the truth about this matter. Life is at stake, if you have captured his friend, you must release him quickly.”

Ding Shaoyan grumbled, ”Great Master Uncle, I really didn’t capture his friend!”

The short one stared at Ding Shaoyan for a while, slowly nodded, turned to Ye Qing, and said, ”Mr. Ye, your friend probably wasn’t kidnapped by Shao Yan.”

”If not him, who else could it be!” Ye Qing said in a deep voice.

”Damn, what kind of talk is that?” Ding Shaoyan exploded, ”What do you mean if not me then who? If your friend is missing, go to the police, don’t come to me, what’s the meaning of this? Ye, I warn you, don’t wrongly accuse good people. Maybe you hid your friend yourself, trying to frame me, are you trying to extort our Ding Family’s money?”

Ye Qing’s expression turned icy cold, and he shouted angrily, ”You call yourself a good person? Ding Shaoyan, tell me what happened with Wang Lili!”

Ding Shaoyan’s expression changed, and after hesitating for a moment, he said, ”I... I don’t know...”

”Don’t know?” Ye Qing shouted coldly and charged towards Ding Shaoyan.

”Mr. Ye!” the short one extended his hand trying to stop him, but Ye Qing unapologetically punched him back several steps. Now that Ye Qing was thoroughly enraged, he was no longer giving him any face.

”Protect Shao Yan!” Wu Xinghuai shouted loudly, and his disciples hurried forward trying to block Ye Qing.

Ye Qing clenched his fists, looked at the people in front of him, and roared, ”Those who block me shall die!”
