Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2845: Chapter 1998: All Parties Gather

The day after Ice Spring Valley Company held its press conference, at three in the afternoon, a luxury car came to a stop at the entrance of Golun International Subsidiary in Domido City.

Yado got out of the car.

Mr. Gainby, the general manager who had been waiting at the subsidiary’s entrance, smiled warmly and rushed up, greeting, ”Mr. Yado, you’re back.”

”Hmm,” Yado hummed from his nose, lazily asking, ”Is everything handled?”

”Handled, come to my office and I’ll report to you in detail,” Mr. Gainby said, glancing around and lowering his voice.

Yado nodded and walked into the subsidiary.

Gainby, the general manager of Golun International Subsidiary, followed closely behind.

By the way, aside from the first day Yado came to Domido City at the subsidiary, he went fishing at a nearby island the next morning.

Apparently, his girlfriend wanted to eat a type of starry grouper and blue lobster from the local waters.

So, Yado’s work-related matters during this trip were secondary; he mainly came over to fish.

Gainby also knew who Yado’s girlfriend was—a young lady from the affluent family behind the company, capable of making Yado a vice president with a single word.

Her affairs, it’s no exaggeration to say, were more important than the company’s!

This time, Yado’s so-called business was merely to resolve a dispute with Ice Spring Valley Company, which wasn’t a big problem at all, not requiring a vice president to personally come.

The reason Yado was sent here was partly to gather seafood for his girlfriend, and partly to brush up on achievements to secure his standing within the group.

Having been guided by a certain high-level executive of the company about these matters, Gainby invited Yado on the day he arrived to safely busy himself with ”big fish” matters, while he would handle the trouble himself.

Gainby had also agreed with Yado to invite him back once the matter was settled.

Now that the dispute between the subsidiary and Ice Spring Valley Company has been satisfactorily resolved, Yado was called back.

In fact, Yado had already bought a small island nearby, built a villa, and even secretly kept two beauties, publicly claimed as servants.

The past few days, his so-called fishing trip was basically heavenly leisure.

When he had his fun and heard the subsidiary’s affairs were resolved, he hurried back to claim achievements before returning to the company headquarters for a report.

Upon reaching the general manager’s office of the subsidiary, Yado swaggered into Gainby’s chair, sipping tea personally served by Gainby, casually asking, ”Any unusual circumstances while I was away?”

Gainby’s eyes flickered, and when Yado looked over, he quickly smiled and shook his head, ”No, no, everything was done as per your instructions.”

My instructions?

Yado was slightly surprised but then remembered he gave Gainby some ”guidance” and ”requirements” before going fishing.

Of course, that was an essential routine as a leader—to exercise authority and establish authority.

As for what he said then, who knows? He certainly doesn’t remember.

”Hmm, you did well on this, Mr. Gainby,” Yado said casually.

Yado didn’t notice the meaningful look in Gainby’s eyes.

In fact, these days, someone came by several times, a woman who accompanied Yado the first day, appearing Huaxia.

On the surface, she’s Yado’s trusted secretary, but what relationship they really share is intriguing.

Gainby had tested the woman, who merely laughed and ”warned” that leaking her identity would do him no good.

Mr. Yado ”instructed” confidentiality.

This vaguely conveyed explanation helped Gainby understand.

This secretary might not only look after Mr. Yado’s daily work but perhaps also manage certain necessities...

That’s something he couldn’t interfere with; in fact, less said the better in such matters.

So, at that time, Gainby refrained from speaking further.

The woman then verified Yado’s purpose for this trip, asking if he knew.

This clearly bore the semblance of catching fishing violations!

Gainby was no fool and immediately repeated accordingly.

Her satisfaction showed as she stated she was sent by Yado to monitor progress.

Gainby was unsurprised.

Despite Mr. Yado’s seemingly indifferent style, his subordinates couldn’t be, so this was totally normal.

The woman frequented these days, acting according to Mr. Yado’s ”instructions.”

Whatever she wished to know or review, Gainby arranged for it to be fully provided.

Now, Mr. Yado asked if there was anything unusual, naturally this doesn’t count.

Mentioning it, Gainby couldn’t help but muse over the private relationship between the two, his eyes turning slightly ambiguous.

To prevent Yado from sensing this, Gainby proactively said, ”Our matter with Ice Spring Valley Company has been settled, let me report to you in detail.”

Leadership is leadership, even if knowing the outcome and main situation, it doesn’t mean he can skip elaborating the details.

This demonstrates respect.

Yado casually nodded, listening to Gainby present the details one by one.

While the situation was largely explained, Gainby’s talk was interrupted by the ringing of a phone, his mobile.

Gainby immediately glanced at Yado.

”Take it,” Yado gestured indifferently.

Gainby then nodded and answered the call.

”Who is it?” Gainby asked directly, immediately relaxing his brow, ”Oh, it’s Mr. Zack.”
