Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2819: Chapter 1986: Yado’s Cousin_2

Fei’er, being more sociable, concealed her earlier anxiety perfectly, and smiled at Mr. Yadu.

”What should I call you two?” Mr. Yadu asked with a smile.

Before Lin Weiwei could respond, Fei’er replied, but from afar a voice called out, ”Yadu, how come you have time to visit me?”

Everyone present turned their faces toward the direction of the voice, seeing a man and a woman walking together, appearing within their view.

The man was Bai Xiaosheng, and the woman was Amido.

Seeing the two with serene expressions, seemingly having a good conversation, Fei’er felt both surprised and delighted in her heart.

This is promising!

Although she didn’t know how Bai Xiaosheng convinced that woman, if he succeeded, it meant solving Changhu Company’s troubles, freeing the Sixth Business Division’s affiliated SMEs, which was certainly a great thing.

If the situation permitted, Fei’er would have rushed over to confirm it all.

”Sister Amido,” Mr. Yadu waved and greeted, stepping forward while curiously looking at the youthful Asian man, Bai Xiaosheng.

So young, a foreign businessman?

Could he be Sister Amido’s lover?

A subtle smile appeared at the corner of Mr. Yadu’s mouth.

Bai Xiaosheng also studied Mr. Yadu.

Earlier, he heard Mr. Yadu state his identity.

The name Golun International caught his keen interest.

Because this company is a family-owned enterprise of Vice Chairman Morgan!

”I’m just passing by, thought I’d visit you, and also have something to ask for your help.” Mr. Yadu approached Amido and said with a smile.

”Oh, ask for my help?” Amido raised an eyebrow, seemingly finding the words funny coming from Mr. Yadu, ”You’re a vice president at Golun International, with such a reputation, how can a small business owner like me assist you?”

Amido said jokingly, but indeed in front of Golun International, her enterprise was incomparable, leagues apart.

Mr. Yadu chuckled, ”Sister Amido, you’re quite modest. You’ve successfully run such a large enterprise, doubling sales in a few years, so impressive. As your younger brother, I’ve always admired you. In time, another Golun International might emerge from your hands after all.”

Amido felt delighted hearing the flattery, rolled her eyes, and said with a smile, ”You’re good at complimenting. So, what do you need my help with?”

Mr. Yadu promptly said, ”I just want to borrow your private jet to fly to Domido City in the Kajash Archipelago Nation. I know your jet can make that trip. I need to inspect the group’s branch there, but it happens the plane flying there lacks a first class. So, I’m here seeking your help.”

Beside him, Bai Xiaosheng heard the names ”Kajash” and ”Domido,” causing his eyes to flicker slightly.

He remembered Mrs. Margery’s ”Rescue List” included a company in Domido.

Nearby, Amido laughed and said to Mr. Yadu, ”I thought it was something major; borrowing my private jet is no problem.”

”Sister Amido is the best.” Mr. Yadu immediately laughed, ”And becoming more youthful and beautiful.”

”You sure know how to talk.” Amido smiled and rolled her eyes at Mr. Yadu.

After their conversation, Mr. Yadu finally turned his attention to Bai Xiaosheng, asking casually, ”And this gentleman, who might you be?”

”He...”

”I’m Miss Amido’s friend.”

Before Amido could speak, Bai Xiaosheng interrupted her.

Bai Xiaosheng smiled, extended his hand toward Mr. Yadu, and said, ”Nice to meet you, Mr. Yadu.”

Out of courtesy for Amido, Mr. Yadu shook Bai Xiaosheng’s hand symbolically.

Amido looked at Bai Xiaosheng with meaning.

Bai Xiaosheng didn’t let her introduce him and kept his self-introduction simple, seemingly intending to keep his identity hidden.

Rightfully so, Mr. Yadu is proud and jealous; if he knew the younger man before him was more accomplished than him, he wouldn’t be happy about it. It might cause some trouble. Amido thought to herself.

”Mr. Yadu, I have some matters to attend to, may I take a moment to speak privately with Miss Amido?” Bai Xiaosheng asked politely.

Mr. Yadu shrugged with a smile, indicating he didn’t mind.

Amido couldn’t help but ask Bai Xiaosheng, ”Won’t you stay for a meal?”

”Next time, if the opportunity arises.” Bai Xiaosheng laughed, then pointed to Amido’s assistant and asked, ”Could this lady stay as well?”

The assistant promptly looked at Amido, who nodded at her.

”You talk, I’ll wait in the small lounge.” Mr. Yadu laughed.

”Alright.” Amido said, ”I’ll come find you in a bit.”

After speaking, Mr. Yadu nodded at Bai Xiaosheng and led his people straight away.

The living room was now left with Amido, her assistant, and Bai Xiaosheng’s group, a total of four people.

Bai Xiaosheng led Amido aside and whispered, ”Miss Amido, regarding my identity, please keep it confidential and don’t tell anyone, including your cousin. Also, please ensure your assistant keeps it confidential as well.”

Although the request was intriguing, Amido simply nodded and smiled, ”A small matter, no problem.”

Bai Xiaosheng also smiled, ”Additionally, I’d like to hitch a ride, if possible.”

”Are you also heading to Domido City in Kajash?” Amido asked in surprise.

”The group needs me to make a trip there.” Bai Xiaosheng explained with a smile.

No need to say more, as saying too much would involve business secrets.

Suddenly, Amido somewhat ”understood” why Bai Xiaosheng wanted to conceal his identity from Mr. Yadu, perhaps their businesses were in a competitive relationship over there.

Hence, it wasn’t appropriate to ask further.

”That’s no problem either.” Amido responded readily.

Now, she and Bai Xiaosheng were very much in an alliance-like relationship. Bai Xiaosheng’s development plan had essentially ”bound” her.

With Bai Xiaosheng, she and her enterprise could go further and live better.

”Miss Amido, regarding Changhu Company’s matters, you don’t need to handle them today; delaying it a day or two would be better, I think.”

When Bai Xiaosheng said this, there was a flicker in Amido’s eyes.

However, this clever woman still did not ask any further questions.

After all, it wasn’t an unreasonable request.

”I will do as you say.” Amido nodded with a smile.

Bai Xiaosheng smiled and said, ”As for your company’s overseas development matters, I will arrange for Shengsheng International from Huaxia to liaise with you. Also, regarding the establishment of a new business association, I will ask Mr. Auston to assist you; you should be quite familiar with him.”

Upon hearing this, Amido felt a sense of fervor and nodded repeatedly.

”Alright, I’ve said almost everything. Until we meet again, contact me if there are any issues.” Bai Xiaosheng waved his phone with a smile.

Amido’s smile was sweet, ”Definitely, just don’t say you’re too busy when the time comes.”

Bai Xiaosheng chuckled, ”Certainly won’t.”

After concluding their conversation, Amido saw Bai Xiaosheng’s group off, watching their car until it disappeared from view before returning with her assistant.

On the way back, Amido instructed her assistant to keep Bai Xiaosheng’s identity a secret in front of Mr. Yadu.

Though the assistant didn’t quite understand, she had always executed Amido’s instructions unconditionally and thoroughly.

When meeting Mr. Yadu again, Amido engaged him in eager conversation.

During their chat, Mr. Yadu casually asked about Bai Xiaosheng’s identity, and Amido evaded the question with ambiguous words and flirtatious glances, further leading to misunderstandings.

Mr. Yadu became even more convinced that the man was Amido’s cousin-in-law.

However, this was not particularly surprising.

Mr. Yadu merely smiled meaningfully and didn’t press further.

Seeing that he misunderstood as she intended, Amido refrained from elaborating, and instead mentioned Bai Xiaosheng’s plan to hitch a ride.

To this, Mr. Yadu naturally had no objections.

Meanwhile, in the departing car, Bai Xiaosheng was earnestly assigning tasks to Fei’er.

”Miss Fei’er, I have persuaded Amido to agree to the reconciliation, though she needs one or two days to do so; you should stay here and ensure this matter is handled properly. As for us, we need to hurry to the next location.” Bai Xiaosheng stated, ”As for where it is, I’ll tell you later and you can fly to meet us.”

Fei’er had no objection to being left behind.

After all, this matter was too important; she needed to oversee it until there was a result to be at ease.

However, she wasn’t quite pleased when Bai Xiaosheng and his group disappeared from view.

”Why don’t you also stay, relax here for one or two days, wait until Changhu Company’s matters are settled, and then we can all set out together?” Fei’er suggested with a smile.

Bai Xiaosheng smiled, and then his face darkened and turned ”domineering.”

”Is Miss Fei’er making plans for me? I’m urgently rushing to resolve issues for your Sixth Business Division, and yet you suggest I rest—should I rest a few more days until all places are on fire before heading out?”

At this, Fei’er’s face stiffened, and she waved quickly, ”I was wrong, Mr. Bai! You all should go ahead, no need to wait for me!”
