Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2818: Chapter 1986: Yado’s Cousin

After Bai Xiaosheng went to Amido’s study, Fei’er, Lin Weiwei, and Lei Ying remained in the villa’s living room.

Lin Weiwei was engrossed in her phone, and Lei Ying sipped his black tea, both appearing relaxed and at ease.

Fei’er, however, seemed a bit restless, frequently glancing towards the study where Bai Xiaosheng had gone, eagerly awaiting any good news.

An hour of waiting felt like an eternity to Fei’er.

At this moment, Amido’s assistant hurriedly approached, and upon seeing the trio glance at her, she nodded politely.

Fei’er stood up, thinking that there was news, but contrary to her belief, the assistant was not approaching them; she simply passed through the living room and quickly disappeared from sight.

Disappointment instantly appeared on Fei’er’s face.

Subsequently, Fei’er paced back and forth, casting glances towards the study from time to time.

Lin Weiwei couldn’t bear it any longer and couldn’t help but say to her, ”Miss Fei’er, could you calm down and wait for a while? You need to trust Mr. Bai Xiaosheng; he can handle it properly.”

Ironically, saying this opened a floodgate for Fei’er to confide.

Seeing no one else nearby in the living room, Fei’er moved closer to Lin Weiwei, her expression slightly anxious, and whispered, ”Lin, be honest with me. What’s your plan this time, really? If there’s a strategy, please let me know, otherwise, my mind just can’t be at ease.”

Fei’er further added, ”The matter here doesn’t just involve one Changhu Company; it actually affects a host of subsidiary and related companies in the supply chain, although they are not significant enough to warrant Mr. Bai’s personal intervention. But resolving Changhu Company’s issue would mean their issues aren’t issues anymore.”

”However, if the trouble with Changhu Company can’t be resolved, if it drags on, those companies couldn’t afford the wait. They might be small, but the sheer number of them could cause significant trouble for our Sixth Business Division, even beyond what one Changhu Company could, as quantity could lead to quality changes!”

Fei’er grew more agitated as she spoke.

If those companies encounter problems, the Sixth Business Division will face substantial trouble.

The major trouble for the Sixth Business Division is, in fact, a trouble for her mother, Mrs. Margery.

How could she not be worried?

Especially now that Bai Xiaosheng has made a mess of the situation, totally offending Amido, which could very likely lead to a reckless backlash from Miss Amido, making things increasingly tricky.

Fei’er found herself losing the ability to think calmly.

Lin Weiwei didn’t know where to begin persuading her; naturally, she wouldn’t speak to Fei’er about Bai Xiaosheng’s plans here.

Even if it were convenient to say, Lin Weiwei wouldn’t rashly disclose them; the trust between them wasn’t that deep.

”Miss Fei’er, believe in Mr. Bai; he can solve it!” Lin Weiwei had no choice but to repeat this benign statement.

As she said this, Lin Weiwei enunciated heavily, hoping the clever Fei’er might catch some hidden meaning.

But unfortunately, Lin Weiwei forgot that no matter how smart someone is, they too have irrational moments, especially in matters of deep concern.

Seeing Lin Weiwei still tight-lipped, Fei’er dejectedly let out a breath, ultimately choosing not to inquire further.

Just then, the faint sound of footsteps could be heard.

Upon hearing, Fei’er promptly looked up, her eyes filled with hope.

Lin Weiwei was also drawn to look.

Even Lei Ying, who had turned to his phone after tea, lifted his head.

The footsteps were somewhat chaotic, indicating more than one or two people, and they were coming from the wrong direction.

Not from the direction leading to Bai Xiaosheng’s study, but rather towards the entrance of the living room.

All three immediately looked towards the entrance.

Soon enough, a group of people entered the living room.

Leading them was a young Caucasian man, around thirty, with a well-groomed small mustache, and was impeccably dressed in a stylish suit. His demeanor exuded elegance with a hint of self-assured arrogance.

Amido’s assistant, who had previously hurried past the living room, now accompanied the young man with a smile.

Several subordinates followed behind them. ℯ

Upon entering, the young man was talking, ”Miss Amido has guests? Who are they, businessmen from Geduo’ya?”

The tone in which he spoke was careless, as if he knew the Geduo’ya business world like the back of his hand, and those people were nothing extraordinary.

Amido’s assistant hurriedly responded, ”Mr. Yadu, this time it’s guests from abroad...”

Before the assistant could continue, the young man named Yadu noticed the three people in the living room and glanced over.

The assistant seized the moment for an introduction, ”These three came with the guest.”

Yadu’s gaze traveled over Fei’er and Lin Weiwei, his eyes lighting up, and his face broke into a gentlemanly smile.

Fei’er was a typical Western beauty, considered strikingly attractive with no further need for elaboration.

Lin Weiwei embodied the irresistible allure of Oriental beauty, capturing the hearts of onlookers at first sight.

With two stunning beauties present, any normal man would momentarily lose composure.

Yadu walked straight over, with Amido’s assistant and the others quickly following along.

”So my cousin has such beautiful lady guests here,” Yadu said elegantly, ”Ladies, hello, I am Yadu, Miss Amido’s cousin, and currently the Vice President of Golun International.”

While bringing a playboy charisma with him, Lin Weiwei, albeit not fond of it, nodded out of politeness.
