Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2830: Chapter 1991: Lin Weiwei’s Journey (Part 3)

”Ke, arrange for two reliable people to go down to the garage immediately. In a moment, the Miss Lin who came with us will head down there, and you instruct them to do just that!”

Yado’s eyes flickered uncertainly, a trace of a sly smile tugging at his lips.

His desire for the woman called ”Lin” was growing more irresistible, although he felt he shouldn’t desecrate her, yet ultimately desire had bested reason.

However, he hadn’t lost his sanity to the point of thinking he could forcibly take her; that would be too serious.

He merely arranged for people to play the role of villains to frighten her, then he would timely appear as the savior.

Generally, a fragile woman, after experiencing intimidation, would have nearly zero mental guards up and would desperately crave safety; his appearance at the right time was sure to win her favor enormously.

The hero saving the beauty has always been the most effective way to woo women, universally applicable. ℯℯ𝘭.

By the time she realized there was something amiss, she would likely have already spent a wonderful night in his villa.

The more Yado thought about it, the more excited he became, considering if Lin Weiwei became suspicious, he would say he had something to discuss and simply followed her over.

...

At the moment, Lin Weiwei was taking the elevator down to the first basement level.

At the elevator entrance, someone was already waiting, one of Yado’s aides, whom Lin Weiwei remembered Yado addressing as ”Ke”.

”I didn’t expect Mr. Ke to be personally waiting here.” Lin Weiwei smiled at him.

”It’s what I should do.” Ke said with a smile, then glanced around and whispered, ”I also just heard from colleagues here that recently several nearby buildings’ underground parking lots have had thefts occurring, even with added security it hasn’t helped. I didn’t want any accidents, so I came to send you off personally.”

”Really?” Lin Weiwei asked in surprise.

”That’s what everyone says anyway.” Ke said with a smile.

He had made the groundwork in advance.

”Miss Lin, this way, please.” Ke smiled as he gestured invitingly.

Lin Weiwei nodded and followed him.

The two walked in silence for a while; the underground garage, while brightly lit, was still too quiet, their footsteps echoing suddenly.

Suddenly, they heard some suspicious noises coming from nearby and couldn’t help but look over.

In the corner, someone seemed to be making gestures attempting to break into a window, and when Lin Weiwei and Ke looked over, those people also glanced their way.

The two sides exchanged a look.

Lin Weiwei noticed that there were two people wearing masks cut from newspapers with tools in their hands, seemingly about to commit theft.

”Thieves!” Ke suddenly shouted in alarm, surprisingly turning to run away.

The two male thieves instantly panicked and rushed towards them.

”Don’t run!”

”Stand still!”

The two men on the other side each muttered in a low growl.

Faced with such a situation, Lin Weiwei’s first instinct was also to flee.

But she was wearing high heels today and quickly lost her speed, soon being surrounded by the two men.

”It’s a woman, and not a bad-looking one. Just as we haven’t had any success today, missy, care to have some fun with us?”

One of them laughed wantonly, reaching out to grab Lin Weiwei by the shoulder.

The other one cut off her escape route, sneering, ”Don’t think your companion ran off for help - by the time they return, we’ll have taken you away. You can scream all you want now, but it won’t help...”

Lin Weiwei didn’t scream at all; she bumped into the person trying to grab her, lifted her high heel, and stomped down on the man’s foot with all her might.

The smile froze on his face, and before he could let out a scream, Lin Weiwei’s elbow struck his chin.

The chin is one of the most vulnerable spots; a sudden strike can cause temporary brain blankness.

While Lin Weiwei looked like a delicate woman, she wasn’t lacking in strength; the use of her elbow made the man stiffen and fall backward rigidly.

The other man in front of her hadn’t even realized what happened when he saw the woman, who should have easily fallen into their hands, stepping forward and swinging a leg fast like a whip.

Realizing what happened, he only felt an explosive pain spreading from below.

He felt his brain ringing, the entire world disappearing, as he held his crotch and fell silently.

In nearly an instant, Lin Weiwei had dealt with the two of them, exhaling a long breath.

Yet just at this moment, a figure stepped out from behind a nearby pillar, dressed in a janitor’s outfit, looking extremely robust.

”You’re quite ruthless, little girl!”

Lin Weiwei immediately assumed a defensive posture but, seeing clearly who it was, sighed in relief.

”So it was you, you gave me a scare.”

It was Lei Ying speaking, standing in the shadows with a baseball cap on, ”Let’s go, people will be coming soon.”

Lin Weiwei walked over lightly and asked, ”Why are you here?”

”Your brother Sheng wasn’t at ease and insisted I follow along.” Lei Ying shrugged.

”How did I do just now?”

”Well, our training wasn’t in vain; quite devious and ruthless.”

”I’m just a weak woman, so I have to defend myself...”

As they chatted, they left together.

Yado excitedly arrived at the garage, met up with Ke, and went over there again, only to find Lei Weiwei nowhere in sight, just two guys lying on the ground.

One unconscious, the other convulsing.

”What the hell happened?” Ke’s eyes went wide.

Yado’s face twitched, pointing at his own nose in angry disbelief, ”You’re asking me? Shouldn’t I be asking you!”
