Super Rich by Doing as You Please

The next day, all the fun came to an end.

The girls who had been playing mahjong, cards, and lounging by the pool all went home.

Young Master Ruan helped Xu Yun give each of them 100,000 for their travel expenses!

As for that 200,000 prize, it was never given out in the end.

As expected of a top scout, the rock-steady Lin Wanzhou passed the test, refusing to be felled by the honey trap.

However, the man seemed a bit drained in the morning, having clearly expended a lot of energy.

Xu Yun was thoroughly impressed by this, as was Young Master Ruan.

The casino’s host, Zhang Jinsu, had been keeping in touch with Young Master Ruan. That afternoon, guessing that everyone was finally awake, he immediately called to ask if they wanted to set up a game for the evening, offering to arrange a private room for him and Xu Yun to play in.

After all, with the piddling amount of chips they exchanged yesterday, you couldn’t even call what they did ”playing” at the casino. It was more like taking a stroll.

Mr. Xu was a big shot who made even Young Master Ruan feel poor. It was impossible that he’d come all the way to Macau just to walk around a casino, not gamble at all, and then leave.

Young Master Ruan looked to Xu Yun, asking for his opinion.

He also felt that Xu Yun couldn’t have come to Macau just to mess around like this.

If not a hundred million, he’d at least play with ten or twenty million. Besides, losing that kind of money meant nothing to him.

The man had just won over 200 million on Hong Kong Island yesterday.

But Xu Yun refused.

”Play? What’s there to play? Young people should gamble less.”

Xu Yun said, ”We’re getting ready to leave. Back to Shenzhen.”

”Brother Xu, leaving so soon?”

”Time to go. I’ve had my fun in Hong Kong Island and Macau. It’s time to go play somewhere else.”

Xu Yun said, ”Help me contact someone and see if there’s a private plane flying directly from Macau to Shenzhen right now.”

”Alright then.”

Young Master Ruan said, somewhat reluctantly, ”I’ll find some time to come visit you guys in the Mainland later.”

”Sure, give me a call then.”

A moment later, Ruan Qingnian had arranged for a helicopter.

With money, anything is possible.

The three of them checked out of the hotel and left together. They had only gone a few hundred meters from the main entrance when their car, turning onto a secluded side road, was suddenly cut off and surrounded by several motorcycles.

There were about four or five bikes, with six or seven people.

One of them, a burly man wearing a gold chain, stepped forward from the group and sneered arrogantly, ”Mainland boys, where do you think you’re going?”

Seeing this, Xu Yun’s heart began to beat a little faster.

’You’ve got to be kidding me. What era is this? Are they really staging a movie-style robbery here?’

Lin Wanzhou frowned.

Ruan Qingnian was also stunned for a few seconds, but he quickly snapped out of it.

’Fuck, if something happens to Brother Xu on my watch, wouldn’t that be a huge slap in my face?’

Seeing that Lin Wanzhou was about to get out of the car, Ruan Qingnian said, ”Brother Xu, Brother Lin, stay in the car. I’ll go see what’s going on.”

”What do you think you’re doing?”

Ruan Qingnian got out of the car and said fearlessly, ”Trying to rob us? Even if this young master had money, I wouldn’t give it to you scum, you dregs of society.”

”Rob you? No, no, no, we don’t rob people. That’s illegal.”

The man looked at Xu Yun inside the car and said, ”It’s just that your friend bullied my woman yesterday, and I want to get some payback for her.”

”Your woman?”

Young Master Ruan thought back. ’Brother Xu didn’t hook up with any married women yesterday. The girls he called over were all young models.’

He asked, ”Who’s your woman?”

”Me.”

Suddenly, a woman stepped out from behind the men, sneering, ”What’s wrong, handsome? You don’t recognize me?”

The moment she appeared, Young Master Ruan and Xu Yun, who was still in the car, understood what was happening.

”It’s you? The pickpocket?”

”Don’t be so nasty. We’re all just trying to make a living.”

The woman let out a coquettish laugh, looked at Xu Yun in the car, and asked, ”Handsome, aren’t you going to come out and chat with me?”

”Sure.”

Xu Yun got out of the car with a smile.

He wasn’t scared at all. In fact, he was even a little excited.

Because this kind of thing was like something out of a movie—something you’d never encounter back in the Mainland.

Lin Wanzhou also got out right away, positioning himself behind Xu Yun, ready to make a move at any moment.

He looked at her and said teasingly, ”Hey beautiful, don’t tell me you saw how handsome I was yesterday, fell in love, and now you’re planning to drag me back to be your husband?”

”Handsome, we’re not here to make things difficult for you.”

The woman ignored his joke, her expression turning cold. ”Just give me back the 250,000 I lost yesterday, and I’ll have them let you go. No trouble.”

”You call this ’no trouble’?”

Xu Yun spread his hands. ”Hold on, let me discuss this with my friend.”

With that, he turned and whispered to Lin Wanzhou, ”Old Lin, can you handle these guys?”

’If you can’t, I’ll have to redeem a Skill from the system.’

Lin Wanzhou said, ”If I don’t have to worry about the consequences, then barely.”

The implication was simple: subduing all of them would be difficult, but if he went straight for killing or crippling them, it should be possible.

Xu Yun hesitated slightly, then turned to Ruan Qingnian beside him and asked, ”Old Lin says, would it be a problem if he killed them all?”

Hearing this, Young Master Ruan gulped and jumped in fright. ”Brother, don’t be rash! Crippling them is fine, we can smooth it over with money if it comes to that, but please don’t kill them.

”Things are a bit chaotic here, but not as chaotic as you seem to think.”

”Old Lin, did you hear that?”

Lin Wanzhou hesitated for a moment, then nodded. ”I’ll do my best. If I can’t handle it, you’ll have to step in yourself.”

In their eyes, Xu Yun was the one who had defeated Master Liang.

Young Master Ruan asked, ”So, what do I do?”

”You know a little kung fu too?”
