Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Anyone who didn’t know better would have thought they were a couple.

She said, a little excitedly, ”Hey handsome, what are we playing this round?”

”Let’s not. It’s boring, just winning all the time.”

”Huh? Don’t stop.”

Hearing this, the woman said, ”Our luck is so good. Why would we stop playing?”

”Fine, one more round then.”

Walking up to a gambling table, Xu Yun casually pushed all the chips he had just won onto it—a pile of over 500,000.

The woman said in surprise, ”Why did you bet everything? What if you lose?”

”Well, this is the last round anyway.”

Xu Yun, with a serious expression, vowed, ”Trust me. I’m the God of Gamblers who won over 200 million on Hong Kong Island!”

The woman was speechless.

Of course she didn’t believe him, but his luck today had been truly heaven-defying!

’Should I bet or not?’

’This is his last round. If I miss this chance, there won’t be another one today.’

After hesitating for a few seconds, she steeled herself and went all-in with her 250,000, following Xu Yun’s lead.

’I’ll trust him. Time to bet big.’

In the end, under the woman’s nervous and expectant gaze...

”We lost?”

The woman watched as her chips were collected, her heart bleeding.

She turned to Xu Yun, flustered, and said, ”Didn’t you say it was a guaranteed win?”

”Yeah, how did we lose?”

Xu Yun thought for a moment and said, ”I guess it’s because this dealer isn’t pretty enough.”

The woman: ”...”

Just then, Young Master Ruan spotted Xu Yun and immediately walked over from nearby, greeting him with a smile, ”Brother Xu, how goes the battle?”

”Won a little.”

Xu Yun asked back, ”What about you?”

”Bad luck. Lost all 500,000.”

After speaking, he looked at the woman beside Xu Yun and asked quizzically, ”Brother Xu, and this beautiful lady is?”

”A gold-digger who wanted to fleece me.”

Xu Yun laughed. ”But it seems she got too greedy just now and lost all her money following my bet.”

Ruan Qingnian was speechless.

So was the woman.

”It’s alright, don’t be sad.”

Xu Yun generously stuffed the one-thousand-dollar chip he had left into the woman’s cleavage and consoled her, ”You kept me company for so long, thanks for your hard work. Take this thousand as my tip. We’ll meet again.”

The woman was speechless.

Seeing her still standing there in a daze, Young Master Ruan said coldly, ”What are you looking at? Scram! A piece of trash like you actually thought you could fleece my brother!”

The woman was unwilling to accept this, but she turned and left anyway, her eyes filled with hatred.

After the woman left, Young Master Ruan asked again, puzzled, ”Where’s Brother Lin? He’s not with you?”

”Nope. Probably still wandering around the main hall downstairs.”

Xu Yun said, ”Come on, let’s go find him and head out.”

「Downstairs in the main hall.」

The chips Xu Yun had given Lin Wanzhou were almost untouched.

After losing two 1,000-dollar bets right at the start, he had spent the remaining two hours just observing.

If you checked his WeChat step counter right now, it would probably be over 10,000!

Lin Wanzhou checked the time. He had no idea how much longer Xu Yun planned to play, so he continued his bored wandering and ended up by the slot machines on the other side of the floor.

It was less crowded and quieter over here, and the players were mostly scantily clad women.

The bets were small, just a few tens of dollars at a time.

But as soon as he walked over, all the women who had been playing turned to look at him.

Lin Wanzhou instantly felt like he had become prey.

Finally, a woman sidled up to him and said seductively, ”All alone, handsome?”

”Yeah.”

Lin Wanzhou nodded. ”Do you need something?”

”Want to go have some fun with me?”

As she spoke, the woman reached out to grab him, but Lin Wanzhou dodged her.

By now, it was obvious what these women were, and he refused coldly, ”Not interested.”

”Well, that just proves how charming you are.”

Xu Yun sighed. ”Look at me. I wandered the VIP lounge for hours and not a single beauty threw herself at me. The only one who did just wanted to scam me.”

”If you’re so jealous, you can have her.”

Lin Wanzhou said irritably, ”She said she only wants 1,500. Much cheaper than the women you usually fool around with.”

”Handsome, if you guys want to play too, I have a few sisters I can introduce you to. They’re pretty, and their skills are great.”

Hearing their conversation, the woman thought she had more business and said in a soft, gentle voice, ”I can even give you a discount. How does 1,000 sound?”

Xu Yun: ”???”

”Get lost!”

Young Master Ruan shot her a disdainful look, waved his hand, and said, ”We’re not interested. Harass us again, and I’ll call security.”

”Tch, fine, I’m leaving. No need to be so aggressive!”

The woman seemed a little afraid of the security here. She grumbled unhappily and immediately turned to leave.

Xu Yun asked curiously, ”Is it always this open here? People soliciting directly in the casino?”

”Brother Xu, we call them ’cricket girls.’”

Ruan Qingnian explained, ”They’re like your streetwalkers back home. They like to find clients inside the casino, asking anyone they meet if they want to ’play.’ The price is usually around 1,000 to 1,500 yuan.”

”And the casino allows this?”

”The casino doesn’t allow it, because it disturbs the guests.”

Ruan Qingnian replied, ”So they usually just exchange a few hundred yuan for chips and pretend to be here to gamble. They solicit clients whenever they get a chance.

Since they have chips in hand, the casino can’t really say much. They can only herd them over to this area with the slot machines, where there are fewer people and smaller bets.

Even so, if a guest complains, security will come and kick them out.”

”I see.”

”Brother Xu, if you’re really interested, how about I take you guys to experience another side of the nightlife here?”

Ruan Qingnian chuckled slyly. ”The environment here is different from the mainland. Some things that are treated like a plague and banned back home are considered a way to cultivate one’s character and just simple entertainment here.”

”Sounds good.”

Xu Yun said, ”Let’s go. Take us two country bumpkins to see the sights and broaden our horizons.”

”I’m not going. You guys can go if you want.”

Lin Wanzhou said, ”I’m going back to the hotel.”

”You have to go.”

Xu Yun said with an air of righteousness, ”We’re doing this to help you temper your Dao heart! If you don’t enter the mortal world, how can you ever hope to see through it!”

”He’s right! To abstain from lust, you must first indulge in it!”

Young Master Ruan chimed in, ”If you can pass the three trials of Macau and remain completely unfazed, then other places will be no challenge at all.”

Lin Wanzhou was speechless.

Unable to refute their twisted logic, he ended up going with them.

Ruan Qingnian was a wild one, taking them to whatever activities offered the greatest temptation.

The three of them first went to see the ”69” and ”79” shows, with tickets at 498 a pop.

Next, they went to ”make many foreign friends” and ”learn about cultures from around the world.” This took about an hour per person and cost 10,000 each.

Then they went to a relatively high-end spa for a full-body massage.

Before leaving, they brought a group of beautiful, scantily-clad ”friends” back to the hotel and started a party in the pool.

It was the first time these women had ever been in such a nice suite, and they were all having the time of their lives.

In the end, Xu Yun took three of them back to his room.

Don’t ask what they were doing. If you have to ask, they were playing mahjong!

Young Master Ruan took two back to his. He said he was going to play Fight the Landlord!

As for the group of women left in the pool, Xu Yun waved his hand magnanimously and left them all for Lin Wanzhou.

”Wait a minute...”

Lin Wanzhou was instantly dumbfounded. ”Why are you leaving them with me?”

”Do whatever you want with them.”

After speaking, Xu Yun turned to the other women and shouted with a laugh, ”Ladies, whoever can successfully conquer him tonight, I’ll give a 200,000 reward to tomorrow!”

”Thank you, boss!”

Hearing this, the bikini-clad women all broke into gleeful smiles and immediately swarmed Lin Wanzhou excitedly, afraid they’d be a step too slow and someone else would beat them to it.

”Hahaha...”

Watching the scene of Lin Wanzhou being surrounded by beautiful women, Xu Yun laughed. ”Old Lin, now’s the time to test your resolve!”

”FUCK!!!”
