Super Rich by Doing as You Please

He thought, ’If I want people to follow me loyally and do my bidding, I have to give them a little something sweet.’

”Really?”

Hearing this, Ruan Qingnian’s eyes lit up.

He had witnessed Xu Yun’s incredible skill firsthand at the martial arts gym. This was a man with real abilities.

”Would I lie to you?”

Xu Yun said, ”Come on, find a spot. I’ll teach you right now.”

”Okay, okay, okay.”

The moment Ruan Qingnian heard him, he knew this was about his future happiness in bed. Without a second thought, he shut off the music in the private room, flicked on the lights, and announced, ”Party’s on hold. Let Brother Xu teach me some fitness exercises first.”

The others could only exchange bewildered looks.

In this private room, Xu Yun was the only one he needed to show respect to. He couldn’t care less about the others.

That included Zhang Jin and his wife.

Young Master Ruan then grinned at Zhang Jin and said, ”This is a rare opportunity. You should learn from Brother Xu, too. Maybe your wife will love you even more at night.”

Zhang Jin was speechless.

After saying his piece, Ruan Qingnian turned back. ”Brother Xu, come on, let’s get started.”

”Okay.”

Xu Yun agreed, silently recited the Mental Method, regulated his breathing, and began to slowly perform the Eight Pieces of Brocade right where he stood.

This Cultivation Technique was a Divine Skill awarded to him by the system.

However, he only taught the movements, not the accompanying Breathing Technique.

Mainly, he didn’t dare teach the full technique. The Skill was too overpowered; he couldn’t risk the potential harm if it were to get out.

’I wonder if it’ll even work for them this way.’

’Whatever, I’ll just teach them first and worry about it later.’

’If it doesn’t work for them, that just means they didn’t practice it right.’

Seeing this, Ruan Qingnian, who was standing beside him, immediately began to follow along, copying Xu Yun’s movements earnestly.

Zhang Jin hesitated for a moment, then also started to practice.

They both now believed that Xu Yun was someone with genuine abilities.

The only man in the room who didn’t join in was Lin Wanzhou.

He could tell that the movements were probably the Eight Pieces of Brocade.

But the way Xu Yun performed it seemed slightly different from the Eight Pieces of Brocade he knew.

He silently memorized all the moves, planning to practice them secretly when he got back.

In the private room, the other women watched Xu Yun and the others, who had suddenly started exercising, feeling like the situation was surreal.

’We were having a good time, singing and drinking, so why did they suddenly start working out?’

They couldn’t understand what these rich men were thinking.

But they didn’t dare show any dissatisfaction, because they weren’t important enough.

If they angered Young Master Ruan, their lives at the company would become difficult.

An hour later, Xu Yun had finally taught Ruan Qingnian and Zhang Jin.

”This technique for strengthening the kidneys and reinforcing your core is my own creation.”

Xu Yun instructed, ”Practice it once every morning and evening from now on. But just keep it to yourselves. Don’t you dare pass it on to anyone else.”

”Okay, Brother Xu. I promise I won’t share it.”

Ruan Qingnian was ecstatic. He had only practiced it three times but could already feel a significant improvement in his physical condition.

’I can’t wait to find someone and try this out tonight.’

Zhang Jin’s experience was even more pronounced than Ruan Qingnian’s.

After his fight with Lin Wanzhou, he had felt a blockage of qi in his chest. But now, after practicing, it had miraculously cleared.

Not only that, but he also felt a faint warmth in a *certain* area.

’I wonder if it’s just in my head.’

’Well, I’ll find out when I go home tonight and try it with my wife.’

”Brother Xu.”

Ruan Qingnian asked, ”So, are we going to keep partying, or...?”

”Let’s call it a night.”

Xu Yun said meaningfully, ”I know your mind is elsewhere right now.”

”Heh heh...”

Ruan Qingnian chuckled and asked, ”You sure you don’t want any of these girls?”

”No, you enjoy them yourself.”

”Alright then.”

After leaving the club, Ruan Qingnian called a car and sent Xu Yun and Lin Wanzhou back to their hotel.

Zhang Jin and his wife also left in their own car.

Ruan Qingnian looked at the three female entertainers who were left, kept one, and sent the other two away.

Then he headed straight for a hotel to test the results.

On the way, he picked up his phone and called Michelle.

”Hello, Young Master Ruan.”

Michelle’s surprised voice came through the phone.

”Michelle, right? Brother Xu told me you’re pretty good.”

Ruan Qingnian said nonchalantly, with his arm around the female entertainer next to him, ”Since Brother Xu appreciates you so much, you can continue to accompany him tonight, and until he leaves Hong Kong Island.

After that, you can come sign with our company. I’ll put in a good word and get you a chance to appear on screen.”

”Okay, thank you, Young Master Ruan.”

”If you want to thank someone, thank my Brother Xu. You’re lucky you met your benefactor.”

Ruan Qingnian said, ”Alright, that’s all. I’m hanging up.”

After he hung up, the female entertainer beside him asked curiously, ”Young Master Ruan, who is this Xu Yun? Why are you so good to him?”

”Is ’Xu Yun’ a name you’re allowed to use? Call him President Xu!”

Ruan Qingnian said with a cold expression, ”The next time I hear you being so disrespectful, you can go back to being a hostess.”

”...”

Hearing this, the woman was immediately too frightened to speak.

Don’t be fooled by how friendly Ruan Qingnian was in front of Xu Yun, Zhang Jin, and the others; that was because their status was equal to his.

When dealing with other people, he wasn’t nearly as approachable and had a thuggish air about him.

...

In a certain apartment, Michelle hadn’t returned yet, and Wanqing was home alone.

She had just gotten out of the shower and picked up her phone to check her messages, only to find one from Xu Yun sent ten minutes ago.

She opened it.

[Are you free tonight? I’m a little bored by myself. Care for a drink?]

Wanqing looked at Xu Yun’s message, knowing exactly what he meant.

[Yeah, I’ll come find you in a bit.]

After hesitating for a few seconds, she replied, then turned and went back to her bedroom to change and get ready to go out.

This time, she put on a set of her sexiest black, lacy, openwork lingerie.

’Since I’ve already taken this step, what’s the difference between one more time or one less? Besides, I don’t find him repulsive at all.’

’I’ll just think of him as my temporary boyfriend,’ Wanqing thought.

「Meanwhile, on a street elsewhere.」

After getting off the phone with Ruan Qingnian, Michelle was overjoyed.

’President Xu is a good guy, a man of his word. He really did put in a good word for me with Young Master Ruan and helped me out!’

Feeling reassured, she smiled and said goodbye to a few of her girlfriends, then hailed a taxi and headed for the Rosewood Hotel.

On the way, she even got out to buy a ”battle outfit.”

’Wanqing won’t be there tonight. It’s just me, so I have a heavy mission ahead.’

She was well aware of Xu Yun’s prowess.

But she wasn’t afraid.

’As long as I don’t die from pleasure, the worst that can happen is not being able to get out of bed tomorrow.’

「Inside the Rosewood Hotel...」

After his shower, Xu Yun sat by the floor-to-ceiling window with a glass of red wine, admiring the night view of Victoria Harbor while patiently waiting for the ”takeout” he had just ordered.

*Sigh.* ’I’ve become so decadent.’

’To think I can’t even sleep alone on a mattress that costs over a hundred thousand yuan!’
