Super Rich by Doing as You Please

But as soon as they reached the garage, they saw Xu Yun’s Bentley Continental parked next to Su Mu’s car.

What did this mean?

It meant that Xu Yun had come back last night and was still in the residential complex.

But he hadn’t gone back to his own home!

’So where could he be?’

Other than Su Mu’s house next door, she couldn’t think of anywhere else.

The two of them gave Su Mu a meaningful look but said nothing.

Su Mu gave an awkward laugh, her explanation only making her look more guilty. ”He got here late last night and was afraid he’d wake you two up if he went home, so he slept at my place.”

”...” Ning Qian & Yu Xuan.

’Afraid of waking us up, but not afraid of waking you up, right?’

Some things are better left unsaid. Pointing them out would just make things awkward for everyone.

After a moment of awkwardness, Ning Qian and Su Mu drove to the office together, while Yu Xuan took Xu Yun’s other Bentley to the airport.

On the way, however, Su Mu pulled over to the side of the road.

She went to the pharmacy near the residential complex, deciding it was safer to take some medicine as a double precaution.

’What if the safe period isn’t so safe?’

’You can never be sure about these things!’

She really had no intention of having a baby with Xu Yun right now. She still had so much she wanted to do.

Her first goal was to work hard to grow her company and make money, then take over her father’s company through acquisitions and other means.

’I’ll show Dad and all those relatives that I, Su Mu, can be even more successful without relying on the family.’

When she entered the shop, the same middle-aged woman was there.

The middle-aged woman recognized Su Mu by now. Seeing her walk in, she asked directly, ”Here for the morning-after pill again?”

”Mhm.”

Su Mu nodded and said, ”Two boxes, please.”

The first time she came to buy it, she had been a little embarrassed. But after buying it a few times, she seemed to have become immune.

The middle-aged woman brought over two boxes and once again gave her well-intentioned, oft-repeated advice. ”Dear, really, it’s not good to take too much of this stuff. The side effects are serious. Do you really not want to have children in the future?”

”Ma’am, are you trying to sell me your ultra-thin Xiaoyu condoms again?”

Su Mu said with a smile, ”I already bought some and tried them last night. I really don’t like them, and I’m not used to them.”

”You young people only care about a moment of pleasure and don’t think about the future at all.”

The middle-aged woman said, ”Since you don’t like condoms, there’s another way you can avoid being harmed.”

”What way is that?”

”Here.”

The middle-aged woman took another box of medicine from the shelf and handed it to Su Mu, saying, ”Next time, give this to your man to take, and then you won’t have to take any pills.”

”Uh...”

Su Mu asked, puzzled, ”What is this?”

”It’s called Compound Gossypol Acetate.”

The middle-aged woman explained, ”It’s an emergency contraceptive for men. He just has to take one before you do it.”

”...” Su Mu.

”Pleasure is for two people. It can’t be that you’re the only one taking medicine, right?”

”Listen to Auntie,” the middle-aged woman said. ”Buy a box of this too. You two can take turns and share the damage. It’s better than one person taking it all.”

”...” Su Mu.

Feeling the ”warmth” of the woman’s concern again, she felt too embarrassed not to buy it.

So, after a moment’s hesitation, she inexplicably bought two boxes and put them in her bag.

’It doesn’t matter whether I end up giving them to Xu Yun, or whether Xu Yun is willing to take them.’

’Auntie is so concerned about my health, I might as well let her earn the money!’

.....

In the apartment, Xu Yun was woken by his ringing phone.

He picked it up and saw it was Xino.

”Hey, Xu Yun, where are you?”

Over the phone, Xino complained, ”I sent you several messages, but you didn’t reply. Didn’t we say we were leaving today?”

”Uh, I was a bit tired last night and overslept.” Xu Yun glanced at the time. It was already past 10 AM.

”Hurry up and get up! Where are we meeting?”

Xino said happily, ”Yan Can and I are together now. We can leave anytime.”

”Hang on, let me check and I’ll let you know.”

Xu Yun hung up, got out of bed, and rubbed his head. Besides Xino’s messages, there were also several from Jian Shiwai and Lin Wanzhou on his phone.

They were all asking what time he was leaving today and where they should meet.

Xu Yun replied to them one by one.

Then, after washing up and eating the breakfast Su Mu had left for him, he went out.

In the residential complex, he ran into Li Yonghua.

After Xu Yun’s phone call to praise him last time, the property management company had given him a permanent position and a 500-yuan raise.

This had made him incredibly happy.

Now, seeing Xu Yun, he still found it a little hard to believe that the man had actually helped him.

”Good morning, Mr. Xu.” Li Yonghua, who was patrolling the complex, stopped and called out.

Xu Yun encouraged him, ”A much better attitude this time. Keep up the good work. I think it won’t be long before you’re the captain of our complex’s patrol team.”

”...” Li Yonghua.

He watched Xu Yun’s departing back as the man smiled and turned to leave, and he couldn’t help but feel a little creeped out.

’Is this guy planning some big move against me?’

’I’ve been in this complex for so long, and while I see that Xu guy often, I haven’t seen my own sister even once.’

’This doesn’t make any sense!’

Xu Yun first went to his home in Jiangcheng Heaven and Earth. Jian Shiwai was already waiting for him there with her suitcase.

He switched to an RV, and with her aboard, he drove toward the place he had arranged to meet everyone.

It was a spot just before the highway entrance.

When Xu Yun arrived, Lin Wanzhou, Yan Can, and Xino were already there.

However, the two groups didn’t know each other yet, so no one exchanged greetings.

Only after Xu Yun made the introductions did they realize they were all travel companions.

For this trip, the convoy consisted of Xu Yun’s RV, Yan Can’s brand-new galaxy gray Jeep Wrangler, and Lin Wanzhou’s somewhat dated white Leopaard.

In terms of comfort, the RV was of course the best; the other two cars couldn’t even compare.

When Xino saw Jian Shiwai get out of Xu Yun’s vehicle, she was immediately on guard.

’She hadn’t expected there to be another woman on this trip besides herself!’

’And not only that, but the other woman was gorgeous.’

’What felt most threatening was her chest—it looked way bigger than her own!’

She walked over, looped her arm through Xu Yun’s to declare her claim, and asked, ”Xu Yun, who is this beautiful lady?”

Jian Shiwai also hadn’t expected there to be another woman.

Xu Yun replied, ”A friend who’s traveling with us.”

”So, she’ll be in the same car as you the whole time?”

”Mhm.”

Xino said, ”Then I’m riding in your car too.”

’There was no way she was letting Xu Yun be alone with another woman in a car—especially a car that had a bed!’

Jian Shiwai sensed Xino’s hostility and offered, ”President Xu, I can ride with this handsome gentleman then.”

”No, please, beautiful.”

Yan Can quickly refused. ”I like to be alone. Besides, this is an off-road vehicle. It’s not comfortable, and it’ll be exhausting on a long trip. You should stick with Brother Xu’s RV.”

”Don’t look at me either.”

Lin Wanzhou also refused, ”My car is pretty old, it’s even worse. I also prefer to drive alone.”

He wasn’t an idiot.

At first, he had assumed Xino and Yan Can were a couple, but after seeing Xu Yun, she had immediately latched onto him. The relationship was clear at a glance.

As for the other woman, Jian Shiwai, she was probably Xu Yun’s woman too.

So it wasn’t that the two of them were unwilling, but that they had already figured out the situation.

One was a follower, the other a tour guide. Who would be stupid enough to fight their boss and their client for a woman?

In their eyes, Xu Yun was aiming to handle two women at once during the trip.

Lin Wanzhou had guided many groups of rich second-generation kids over the years; he was used to this sort of thing.

Upper-class people could be quite low-class when they wanted to have fun.

In his experience, as long as they weren’t breaking the law, rich people really could use their money to Do as You Please.

Once, on a yacht out at sea, he had witnessed a so-called ”feast.”

Lured by the money of the rich kids, those beautiful women had willingly become toys for everyone’s amusement.

Compared to that, Xu Yun’s behavior was nothing—like a junior sorcerer meeting a master. It wasn’t even worth mentioning.

After that, everyone spent a little more time getting to know each other. Then, Xu Yun and Lin Wanzhou talked for a bit to finalize the route for the road trip.

Before they set off, Lin Wanzhou gave a walkie-talkie to each car so they could stay in contact.

Whether it was intentional or not...

After the convoy got on the highway, Lin Wanzhou’s car took the lead, and Yan Can’s car brought up the rear.

Xu Yun’s RV ended up right in the middle.

Xino had shamelessly taken the front passenger seat, forcing Jian Shiwai into the back.

She turned on the car’s music radio, which happened to be playing Pu Shu’s ”The Ordinary Road.”

”I’ve crossed mountains and seas, and passed through crowds of people...”
