Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Whether or not she was capable, and whether she could do the job well, would all depend on her performance with the first person they helped.

If she was up to the task, all the better.

If she wasn’t, he’d just find someone else.

Actually, a woman like Xino would have been a great choice, but her family background introduced too many unstable factors, and she wouldn’t be easy for him to control.

After giving Yu Xuan her instructions regarding the charity, Xu Yun drove to the Mercedes-Benz dealership.

The salesperson had messaged him to say the car had arrived, two days earlier than expected.

That was a good thing.

When he got to the dealership, a saleswoman led him down to the underground garage to see the car.

It was quiet and dimly lit.

The saleswoman today was dressed even more seductively than the last time he’d seen her.

She wore an impossibly short miniskirt, black stockings with lettering, and high heels. The collar of her blouse was unbuttoned even lower, and her pale cleavage looked ready to spill out at any moment.

Paired with her exquisite makeup, it was obvious she had dressed up carefully just to meet Xu Yun.

As time went on, their inspection moved from the car’s exterior to its interior.

The saleswoman postured seductively in front of Xu Yun, deliberately bending over from time to time to strike alluring poses.

In her speech, she also intentionally-or-unintentionally dropped suggestive hints, like how few people came down here, and how the car’s soundproofing was excellent, and so on.

Xu Yun just pretended he didn’t understand.

’Like a prostitute giving a blind man a striptease—a whole lot of shaking for fucking nothing.’

’Even if he were to mess around with a gold digger these days, he’d at least pick one with some class.’

’A socialite, at the very least.’

’He wouldn’t dare touch a random salesgirl like her with an unknown background, even if she showed him a health certificate.’

’After all, no matter how rich you were, there was still no cure for HIV.’

Just as the saleswoman was about to get even bolder, Xu Yun grabbed her by the waist and reminded her, ”You’re supposed to be showing me the car, so just stick to that. Don’t pull any of this other nonsense. I’m not sexually interested in you!”

The saleswoman was dumbfounded. ”...”

After inspecting the car, Xu Yun came out of the garage and confirmed there were no problems. He said he would take the car and paid the remaining balance in full.

The total came to 1.8 million.

[Life is a journey. To pursue a life of poetry and travel, the Host has followed the principle of ”Do as You Please” and purchased an RV. Reward: 5 million in cash.]

[Bank Account Balance: 105 million]

Hearing the reward of several million from the system, Xu Yun was completely unfazed.

Had this been a month ago, he couldn’t imagine how happy and excited he would have been to suddenly receive several million.

He was also finally beginning to understand Xiaoma’s classic line: ”Money is just a string of numbers to me.”

Honestly, it wasn’t that he was trying to show off.

It’s just that when your wealth reaches a certain level, your entire mindset shifts, and you naturally start to feel that way.

At that point, you start pursuing spiritual fulfillment.

This was also why Xu Yun suddenly wanted to go on a trip. He wanted to find himself again and clear his head for a bit.

He didn’t want to let the money slowly make him numb.

After settling the bill, Xu Yun said, ”The money’s paid. Get the license plates on for me as soon as possible today. I’ll be back to pick up the car tomorrow.”

”Of course, Brother Xu.”

Although her seduction attempt had failed, the saleswoman had still successfully secured her commission.

She replied with a smile, ”I’ll have our guys get on it right away! We absolutely won’t delay your important plans.”

”Sounds good.”

As Xu Yun left the office, having settled his business, he came face-to-face with Xi Wei, who was also at the dealership to buy a car.

The dealership’s owner was personally escorting him.

Their eyes met, and both were a little surprised to see the other there.

’Best to avoid unnecessary trouble,’ Xu Yun thought. He was about to pretend he hadn’t seen him and just brush past, but to his surprise, the other man suddenly called out and stopped him.

He took the initiative, inviting, ”Xu Yun, since we’ve run into each other, why don’t we have a chat?”

”Sure.”

Resigned, Xu Yun stopped and turned to face Xi Wei. He smiled and asked in return, ”And what is it that President Xi would like to chat about?”

”About my sister.”

Xu Yun nodded. ”Alright.”

Seeing Xu Yun agree, Xi Wei turned to the manager beside him and asked, ”Manager Huang, may I borrow your office for a moment? I’ve unexpectedly run into a friend and would like to have a few words.”

”Of course.”

Manager Huang immediately replied with a fawning smile, ”President Xi, please, use it for as long as you like. I’ll have some coffee brought in for you. Take your time.”

”I won’t be using your office for free.”

Xi Wei said magnanimously, ”That commercial van I was talking about? Go ahead and put in an order for three. Have them sent to my company. And add a new-model G-Wagen to that.

Get the contracts ready. I’ll sign them when I’m done.”

”Right away, President Xi. I’ll have someone prepare it now.” Manager Huang was ecstatic.

’He never expected such a windfall.’

’An order for one commercial van had just turned into three!’

’And with a G-Wagen added to the mix!’

But just then, Xu Yun, who was standing off to the side, suddenly cut in, ”President Xi, you don’t need to buy the G-Wagen. I won’t need it on the road.”

His meaning was clear: Xi Wei was probably buying the G-Wagen for his sister, who in turn would expect Xu Yun to drive it, but he had no intention of doing so.

Manager Huang was completely baffled. ’???’

’President Xi is buying a car, so what’s it got to do with you?’

”Fine.”

Xi Wei froze for a second, but he naturally understood the meaning behind the other man’s words.

He really had come to buy a G-Wagen today because of his little sister, Xino.

After she went home last night, she had announced she was going on a trip and that it would be inconvenient without an SUV, so she’d set her sights on his G-Wagen.

His own G-Wagen had been modified several times, and he certainly wasn’t about to give it up. His only option was to come buy her a new one as a gift.
