Super Rich by Doing as You Please

”It’ll take at least 50 million!”

Liang Yan replied, ”But I only have 30 million in cash on hand.”

”How about this.”

Xu Yun thought for a moment, then said, ”I’ll have someone give you the 50 million directly, and I’ll take 55% of your company’s shares.”

”Uh.”

Liang Yan was stunned. ”Aren’t you just turning my company into yours?” she said resentfully.

”If you don’t want to, then forget it.”

Xu Yun said casually, ”I have no interest in your company, and I have no interest in your TV series.

The only reason I’m willing to put up the money to support you is as a favor to you.”

”At this rate, you might as well just have my company merge with Su Mu’s.”

”That’s different. I’m doing this for your own good, too.”

Xu Yun said, ”If your companies really did merge, you’d completely lose control. I’d put her in charge of everything.

But now, I’m coming to you privately to offer funding. Although I’ll own the majority of the shares and be the largest shareholder...

I promise that your company will still be your company. I won’t interfere with your management. You can do whatever you want with it. I’ll even be your sugar daddy, absolutely backing you, just like I do for Su Mu.”

As soon as Xu Yun said this, Liang Yan was tempted.

Xu Yun’s wealth had always been a mystery. It was impossible to gauge, as if he had an endless supply of money.

If her company truly had his full support in the future, she was confident she could make a name for herself in the entertainment industry.

”You don’t have to answer me right away. You can take your time to think about it.”

Xu Yun stood up, got dressed, and said, ”I’m going to be away for a while. Give me your answer when I get back.”

”Why don’t you stay tonight?”

Liang Yan got up, took his arm, and said seductively, ”Come sleep at my place.”

”Hey, don’t push it.”

Xu Yun said irritably, ”What do you think I am, some kind of machine? I need to rest, you know.”

”Oh, you’re not?”

”Ugh.”

Xu Yun shot her a look. ”Think carefully about what I said. I’m leaving.”

Liang Yan watched Xu Yun’s retreating back, then sat back down on the sofa and began to tidy herself up.

A moment later, she took out some pills hidden in her desk and swallowed them.

...

In the car, on the way back, Xu Yun finally remembered Xino.

He glanced at the missed calls on his phone.

’That woman,’ he thought. ’She’s called me so many times tonight. What could she possibly want?’

He’d been busy with important matters earlier and had ignored her.

Now that he was free, he figured he should call back and see what was up.

Xino was staring glumly at her phone, thinking that if he didn’t call back soon, she would just drive home.

Suddenly, her phone rang.

Seeing it was a call from Xu Yun, she answered happily. ”Hello? Xu Yun, what are you doing? Why haven’t you been answering my calls?”

”I was a bit busy just now and couldn’t get away to answer.”

From his car, Xu Yun asked with a smile, ”You called me so many times. Is something urgent?”

”No, I just missed you a little.”

Xino said, ”Where are you now? Can I come find you?”

”I’m almost home. If it’s not urgent, let’s just see each other tomorrow.”

”I’m right outside your building.”

Xino said pitifully, ”I don’t have a key card, so I can’t even get into the elevator.”

”...”

Xu Yun paused, then said, ”Alright then. Wait for me, I’m almost there.”

A short while later, Xu Yun saw the pink Beetle parked by the entrance.

Xino immediately got out of the car, ran over, and said with a smile, ”I was about to fall asleep waiting for you.”

”Come on, let’s go inside.”

Xu Yun couldn’t help but smile. ”I’ll make you a cup of coffee to help you wake up.”

”Okay.”
