Super Rich by Doing as You Please

This meant she might become the woman of the house!

After Xino left, Xu Yun remembered the trip and called Lin Wanzhou. He planned to ask her about it directly.

He wanted to see how she would answer before deciding on his next move.

The call connected quickly.

”President Xu.”

Lin Wanzhou asked, ”Calling so late. What’s up?”

”Nothing major, just a small question.”

Xu Yun said, ”Did you tell Chen Jiang about my situation?”

”Yes, I did.”

Lin Wanzhou hesitated for a moment before replying, ”It was my payment to him for introducing you to me.”

”But it was a one-time thing. You don’t have to worry about the future. I won’t breathe a word.”

”And I should trust you?”

”That’s up to you, President Xu.”

Lin Wanzhou said, ”I’m a former soldier. I like being direct, and my word is my bond.”

”If you still trust me, President Xu, we can continue working together. If you don’t, that’s fine too. We can just consider it as having made a new friend.”

”Alright, I’ll trust you this once.”

Xu Yun said, ”Our plans haven’t changed, but the number of people might. I have one more woman on my end. Is that a problem?”

”No problem. It won’t affect much.”

.....

The next day, Xu Yun met with Yu Xuan at his home.

He had thought that establishing a charity would be a very complicated affair, but it turned out to be surprisingly easy.

With Lawyer Luo handling things, it only took a day to prepare all the preliminary documents for the organization. They were ready to apply to the local civil affairs department at any time.

The only things not yet decided were the organization’s office address and its name, which was why Yu Xuan had come to see Xu Yun.

Xu Yun figured that since he was the one running this charity, all he really needed was a license. He told Yu Xuan to just go rent an office next to Su Mu’s company.

If there was one for sale, she could just buy it.

As for the name of the charity, after about ten seconds of thought, he decided to call it the ”Cloud Charity Organization.”

He would have Su Mu’s ”Baiyun Media Co., Ltd.” and Liang Yan’s ”Jin Yan Clothing Co., Ltd.” join as the organization’s first member entities.

He also had them donate five million in their companies’ names as start-up capital.

Next, regarding the necessary personnel appointments, Xu Yun made Jiang Peiyao the primary person in charge, with the title of Chairwoman, responsible for the organization’s daily operations and development.

Yu Xuan would be the first Secretary-General, responsible for assisting her, and would then find a treasurer and an administrative staff member.

And with that, the four-person organization could be established.

After hearing Xu Yun’s instructions, Yu Xuan didn’t linger. She turned and left for the law firm to find Lawyer Luo, ready to implement the plans and handle the next steps.

Now, with the involvement of the corporate entities, Lawyer Luo’s firm had also become the legal consultant for the charity.

His personal consulting service had transformed into a corporate consulting service.

The annual fee, of course, changed accordingly, going from 500,000 a year to one million!

Yu Xuan had to handle all of these matters.

To be honest, she had only been a hotel manager before, and her main professional skill was serving guests well. It had nothing to do with dealing with people from all walks of life.

But after starting to work for Xu Yun, she had gradually transitioned from her role as a hotel manager to that of an administrative secretary.

During this process, she felt that her horizons and personal capabilities had grown immensely.

She was a little surprised that the person in charge of the charity wasn’t Xu Yun himself, but a woman named Jiang Peiyao.

’Another woman I don’t know.’

’But it’s obvious her status with Xu Yun isn’t low.’

’She’s actually qualified to have her own career, just like Su Mu and Li Jinshu.’

Having been with Xu Yun for over a month, Yu Xuan had noticed a pattern.

Unlike other wealthy men, he didn’t just throw money at his women. Instead, he was more inclined to create careers for them to manage on their own.

As one of his ”underground” women, Yu Xuan naturally hoped that she too could have a business of her own one day.

But she also knew she couldn’t be the one to ask for it.

’The only thing I can do is wait.’

’Maybe soon, Xu Yun will give me a career too.’

’Or maybe he won’t, right up until the day I leave.’

It was all up to a single thought from Xu Yun.

Yu Xuan felt that what she had to do was to serve Xu Yun’s daily life and work-related needs as best she could, every single day, in every single matter.

Whether she ended up with her own career or not, the compensation he was giving her now was already worth all this effort.

’A salary of 50,000 a month, plus some extra personal benefits and bonuses from the boss... This is a job that many people could only dream of and envy.’

Xu Yun’s sudden decision to give his own position to Jiang Peiyao was also a spur-of-the-moment idea.

Over on her end, Jiang Ping’an’s active treatment would soon be finished, transitioning to conservative care.

’When she comes back, I’ll definitely need to find something for her to do.’

That’s when he thought of having her manage the charity for him.

Because Xu Yun had observed Jiang Peiyao and found her to be a very emotional and compassionate woman.

She had also lived at the bottom rungs of society and had experienced what it was like to be helped by others in moments of desperation.

Therefore, when faced with vulnerable groups who needed help just as she once did, she would have empathy and would be able to do this work with more heart.
