Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Xu Yun was a man of his word. On his way back, he called the property management office and heaped praise on Li Yonghua.

When he got to the 19th floor, faced with his own apartment and Su Mu’s, he chose Su Mu’s without a second thought.

But after keying in the password and letting himself in, he found the apartment pitch-black. No one was home.

’She’s still not back this late?’

With no other choice, Xu Yun headed back to his own apartment.

Yu Xuan had just gotten out of the shower. She was wearing a form-fitting black silk nightgown and lounging on the sofa, her legs bent and crossed as she played on her phone, looking utterly languid and sexy.

Xu Yun walked over with a smile. ”Enjoying some alone time, I see.”

”Boss.” Yu Xuan, who had been completely relaxed just a moment before, immediately put down her phone and sat up, saying awkwardly, ”What are you doing back?”

”This is my home. Am I not allowed back?”

Xu Yun sat down beside her and asked, ”How come Ning Qian isn’t back yet?”

”She and President Su seem to be working overtime at the office.”

Yu Xuan said, ”I didn’t have anything else to do, so I came back early.”

”Have you eaten?”

”I have.” Yu Xuan asked, ”Have you eaten, Boss? I can go make something for you.”

”No need, I already ate.”

Xu Yun asked casually, ”What were you looking at just now? You seemed really engrossed.”

”Nothing much, just scrolling through Weibo.”

”By the way, did you pick up the handbag I got for you?”

”I picked it up after work.”

Hearing this, Yu Xuan’s face lit up. ”Thank you, Boss. I love it.”

”You’ve been here for a while now. Are you settling in okay?”

”Yes, I am.”

Yu Xuan said gratefully, ”I never imagined I’d have such a wonderful work environment. Boss, you’ve been kinder to me than anyone else.

A luxury apartment, designer bags, new clothes... If I hadn’t met you, Boss, I doubt I would’ve ever been able to own or enjoy things like this in my entire life.”

”You’ve earned it. It’s just a mutually beneficial arrangement.”

Xu Yun smiled. ”As long as you do your job well, I’ll be sure to take good care of you.”

”Yes.”

”Yu Xuan, on the surface, you’re my secretary and housekeeper. But you know I don’t really see you as just a subordinate.”

Xu Yun continued, ”In my eyes, you’re just like the other women in my life. Anything they have, you can have too.

It’s just that you’re more capable professionally, so I’m willing to entrust a lot of things to you.

So, when you’re around the others, don’t ever feel like you’re beneath them. Do you understand?”

”I understand.” Yu Xuan was touched.

’She was only with Xu Yun for the money, but if he could offer some genuine affection on top of that, it would undoubtedly make her feel a little less pathetic.’

When a woman is moved, she’s prone to act on impulse.

With just the two of them in the apartment, Yu Xuan hesitated for only a moment before throwing herself into Xu Yun’s arms.

’Since he said I’m just like his other women, then I should be able to enjoy certain privileges, too.’

Soon, the nightgown slipped from her shoulders.

A passionate, full-blown battle was inevitable.

In truth, among all of his women, Xu Yun and Yu Xuan had not been intimate very often.

It wasn’t that she didn’t want to; it was that as his subordinate, she felt it wasn’t her place to make the first move if her boss didn’t.

But today was different.

After hearing Xu Yun’s words, she was moved, but more importantly, some of her mental blocks had dissolved.

’Before, as his secretary, she had always felt inferior whenever she was around Xu Yun’s other women.’

Now that she was in high spirits, her entire state and mindset improved as well.

As the other party involved, Xu Yun could clearly feel the difference this time.

’It seems women are like fine tea,’ he thought. ’They require a certain technique, a slow and patient brewing, to release their true essence.

If you’re too rough with it, you’ll never experience the flavor and aroma it’s meant to have.’

With this cup of tea named Yu Xuan, Xu Yun had finally found the right way to brew her, and the resulting flavor was instantly irresistible.

He brewed her once, then again, and only after the third infusion did he finally set down his teacup in satisfaction.

Although Yu Xuan was exhausted, she still got up to tidy the apartment a little, lest Ning Qian see anything amiss when she returned.

She nestled back into Xu Yun’s arms, feeling his heart pounding in his chest.

”Boss, your heart is beating so fast.”

”That’s your doing.”

Xu Yun teased, ”Looks like you were just going through the motions before, huh?”

”To be honest, Boss, before I was just doing it as part of the job. It was inevitable that I’d feel some resistance.”

Yu Xuan explained, ”But it won’t be like that anymore.”

”I need to tell you something. I’ll be going away for a while soon, and I’m not sure when I’ll be back.”

Xu Yun said, ”There’s something I need you to handle for me. If there’s anything you don’t understand, you can consult Lawyer Luo.”

”What is it?”

”I want to set up a private charitable foundation.”

Xu Yun continued, ”Once it’s established, let me know. I’ll provide ten million for the initial funding. Then, I want you to sponsor a private orphanage.”

”Okay.” Yu Xuan didn’t ask too many questions and simply nodded in agreement.

”But the funding isn’t a one-time donation. You can use your discretion on the specific amounts.”

Xu Yun instructed, ”I want you to find out the orphanage’s routine operating costs and fund them according to that budget. Don’t let them have too much money in their account at once, but make sure they can cover their normal expenses.

And you’ll also need to monitor where the funds are going from time to time.”

”Okay, I understand.”

As Xu Yun spoke, his hands weren’t idle. He made Yu Xuan’s body tremble violently, and she let out a muffled groan, clutching tightly at her nightgown.

She looked up at Xu Yun with a pitiable expression. ”Boss, Ning Qian should be back soon.”
