The Valued Lady is Truly Dominant

Chapter 501: Chapter 501: Getting to Know the Ever More Mischievous Ancestor?

Upon receiving her sister-in-law’s pleading gaze, both Madam Jiang and Madam Lu exchanged smiles and joined in trying to keep her.

”Mother, Yuanyuan is just over a month old, can you really bear to leave her? She will miss you dearly.”

Song Zhiyu: ”How can a tiny bean know whether she misses someone or not? Second sister-in-law, you’re talking nonsense. If she does miss her, then just bring Yuanyuan to the Prince Mansion. Second sister-in-law, you should come too, alright?”

Madam Jiang: ”...”

She looked forlornly at the Song Family Madam, I’ve done my best!

Madam Lu: ”As the elder sister-in-law said, if Mother suddenly goes to live at the Prime Minister’s Mansion, I’m afraid she won’t get used to it and won’t sleep well at night.”

Niu Pan’er said confidently, ”I can have people from the Prince Mansion arrange a courtyard for Mother, just like in Chunhui Hall.”

Madam Lu: ”...”

She too had done her best!

Money and power can’t be argued with, better not provoke them.

The Song Family Madam was anxious and looked at her eldest daughter and Song Zi, it’s your turn to step in!

Song Ruqian smiled and said, ”Actually, it’s not a problem for Grandmother to stay for a while at the Prince Mansion. Think of it as relaxing. You can stay until Fourth Aunt’s pregnancy is stable, and then return to the Prime Minister’s Mansion. Otherwise, this big family will miss you terribly if they can’t see you every day, so you can’t be so partial.”

”If they miss Mother, they can come to the Prince Mansion,” Song Zhiyu mumbled.

Song Ruqian chided, ”Fourth Uncle, it’s fine to occasionally visit the Prince Mansion, but going there every day, what will people outside think? It won’t be good for you, for the Commandery Princess, or for our Song Family!”

Song Zhiyu fell silent.

Some reputations, no matter how unwelcome in the heart, are undeniable in reality.

Especially for a family like theirs, always in the public eye, they must be cautious.

Song Zi then smiled and said, ”Sisters-in-law, there is no need to worry. You’ve all spoken a lot, but Mother hasn’t even said a word yet!”

Saying too much is not as effective as the main character making the decision!

Everyone’s eyes darted towards Song Ci.

Song Ci was holding a cup of tea: ”...”

She put down the tea and smiled, ”Have you all finished arguing so quickly? Is there anything left unsaid?”

She hadn’t even enjoyed the feeling of being fought over enough!

Like a top star.

Everyone: ”...”

Get to know the increasingly playful old family head?

Song Ci cleared her throat and said, ”Actually, even if you all hadn’t said anything, I was thinking of letting Pan’er and the others return to the mansion to nurse the pregnancy, as there are a few experienced sisters-in-law. But as mentioned, for the first three months, it’s good to have a quiet rest.”

”Since Pan’er and the others have invited, so be it, for these three months, I will stay at Prince Dingbei’s Mansion. Once Pan’er is stable, I’ll come back, and I’ll also return for the holidays.” Song Ci said, ”Besides me, Lin Qing will go with me. She’s a female doctor, and knows Pan’er’s health well, making it more convenient, so you don’t have to worry about us.”

Niu Pan’er and Song Zhiyu were delighted.

Afraid that Song Ci might change her mind, Song Zhiyu looked at Nanny Mao and instructed, ”Quick, pack up Mother’s belongings, we’re going back to the Prince Mansion.”

Song Ci teased, ”What’s the rush? Even if we’re going to the Prince Mansion for a short stay, it can’t be right now. We should wait until Qi’er returns.”

”Exactly, we’ll wait until Qi’er returns before heading back to the mansion,” Niu Pan’er agreed.

With both his mother and wife saying so, Song Zhiyu could only comply.

”Then it’s settled. Sisters-in-law, all step out now. We need to rest,” Song Zhiyu began ushering people out.

Everyone: ”???”

Usage discarded after crossing the bridge.

Everyone was tired too, so they wisely left.

Before leaving, Song Ci gave a sideways glance at her younger son and daughter-in-law: ”Now that you’re expecting, you two mustn’t mess around like before. Especially you, Fourth Son, don’t cause trouble for Pan’er, even if you miss it, hold it in for me.”

A young wolf after tasting meat!

Niu Pan’er’s face turned unusually red.

Song Zhiyu: ”...”

He’s actually the one on the bottom!
