The Empress Wants a Divorce Every Day

Chapter 150: Chapter 149: Could It Be That She Will End Up Like These Women

Si Hua took the person away, and Feng Qing acted as if nothing had happened, gently saying to Rong Ling, ”Prince, why not take a walk outside the courtyard for a while, and rest when you’re tired.”

A gleam flickered in Rong Ling’s deep black eyes, and a smile slowly formed at the corner of his lips. Feng Qing demoted Si Qin and Si Shu to second-class maids, and he wasn’t angry. On the contrary, he felt that as his Princess Consort, Feng Qing was quite competent.

This woman, aside from being insidiously cunning, is sharp and decisive in handling matters, without a hint of ambiguity. However, Rong Ling recalled Feng Qing’s mastery of lying, which gave him a headache.

It seems he still needs to teach her well, striving to make her the most qualified Princess Consort by his side.

As Rong Ling thought to himself, he supported Feng Qing’s hand and walked out of Yijing Courtyard. Thanks to the meticulous care over the past few days, his health was slightly better, allowing him to walk a short distance.

Nevertheless, compared to a normal person’s body, he was still severely lacking.

But this matter couldn’t be rushed; it had to be nurtured slowly.

As Rong Ling and Feng Qing left the Yijing Courtyard, the women in the back garden of Prince Yong Mansion promptly received the news.

Each swiftly prepared and tidied herself, leading her maids to the garden of the Prince Mansion.

By the time Rong Ling and Feng Qing strolled leisurely into the rear garden of Prince Yong Mansion, several meticulously dressed concubines had already gathered with delighted expressions to greet them.

”The concubines pay respects to the Prince. Is the Prince feeling any better?”

Consort Jiang led the way to offer her respects to Rong Ling, who glanced at them mildly without making things difficult. After all, these women were his concubines and hadn’t committed any wrongdoing.

”Rise.”

Consort Jiang and Consort Song along with a few others curtsied and stood up, each with a face full of concern, offering their care to Rong Ling.

”The Prince’s complexion doesn’t seem too good. How about sitting down for a while in the pavilion?”

”Earlier, Sister Jiang prepared tea in the pavilion, perhaps the Prince would like to go in and have some tea.”

”Prince, the sunshine is nice today, but the wind is strong. Sitting inside to admire the flowers could benefit the Prince’s health.”

Watching the women busy flattering her, Feng Qing thought every woman had it hard; would she have to live like them in the future?

Currently, Prince Yong Mansion has only four concubines. No, counting Consort Han Ziyan, there are five women.

It’s just five women now, but in time, there will be more in the Prince Mansion. Would she constantly have to engage in schemes, both openly and in secret, living a life unseen by daylight?

Just thinking about it gave Feng Qing a shiver.

Rong Ling, who had been constantly holding her arm, immediately felt her momentary resistance, and instinctively turned to look at Feng Qing, seeing a detached and indifferent expression as if they were separated by great distance.

Rong Ling suddenly felt uncomfortable in his heart. Subconsciously, he tightened his grip on Feng Qing’s arm, causing her to feel pain. She looked up at Rong Ling and asked, ”Prince, want to sit in the pavilion?”

Rong Ling, however, unhappily replied, ”Go back.”

Overall, he was in a bad mood. Even he didn’t know why he suddenly felt upset, just that his mood was unpleasant.

Feng Qing didn’t insist, supporting him back to Yijing Courtyard. Beside them, Consort Jiang and Consort Song among others called out in disappointment, ”Prince.”

”Prince.”

The calls were gentle and lamenting, like that of secluded wives, filled with indescribable longing, and Feng Qing involuntarily shivered, instinctively quickening her pace as she supported Rong Ling.
