The Empress Wants a Divorce Every Day

Chapter 144: Chapter 143: Do You Have a Death Wish?

Feng Qing, feeling sleepy and full of anger, thought, ”I can’t vent in front of this man, but can’t I take my anger out on him when he’s asleep?”

With that thought, Feng Qing glared at the man on the bed and huffed coldly.

”Ha, Rong Ling, you’d better pray not to fall into my hands. If one day you do, I’ll make sure you can’t sleep for three days—no, ten days. I won’t even let you eat a single bite of food. Not only that, you won’t be able to bathe, you’ll be locked in a dark room, and I’ll give you three needle pricks every day, making you wish you were dead and alive at the same time.”

As Feng Qing finished speaking, she recalled that she couldn’t sleep all because of this guy’s mention of consummating the marriage, which irked her and made her kick him out, growing angrier as she thought about it, muttering.

”Do you think the things you presume are a gift to me? Hmph, who cares about your stuff? Get as far away from me as possible.”

As Feng Qing muttered, her eyes grew heavy with fatigue, and she simply lay on Rong Ling’s bedside to sleep. Anyway, this guy was too weak, she figured that by the time she woke up tomorrow, he’d still be asleep. So as long as she didn’t admit it, who would dare say she slept there?

The more Feng Qing thought about it, the more it seemed right, so she decisively lay by the bedside to sleep.

Just that she didn’t realize her sleeping posture was terrible, and as dawn approached, feeling uncomfortable, she groggily climbed onto the bed, shoving Rong Ling into the bed inner side with her foot, sleeping ever so soundly herself.

As dawn broke, Rong Ling became somewhat conscious, only to feel entirely discomforted, as if trapped by something, unable to move his limbs. He felt his body stiff and not very agile.

Rong Ling thought he might have contracted some unknown disease again, so with a sudden shiver, he instinctively opened his eyes.

The first thing he saw was an enlarged face, slightly darkened cheeks, with a spider on half of the face glaring at him menacingly.

Rong Ling’s dark eyes suddenly deepened, his body instinctively retreating, but unable to move, finding himself squashed into a corner of the bed.

Focusing his gaze, Rong Ling then discovered someone sleeping beside him, brazenly occupying most of his bed, leaving him with only a small corner.

Seeing this, Rong Ling understood why he felt so uncomfortable—being squeezed to the bed corner, unable to move, hence the stiffness.

Rong Ling’s face turned as black as it could get, suddenly shouting coldly, ”Feng Qing.”

The woman, deep in sleep, waved her hand annoyed, muttering grumpily, ”Don’t shout, let me sleep a little longer.”

Saying this, she also stretched out her foot, aiming to kick the person beside her further away.

Rong Ling’s face darkened like soot, his phoenix eyes reflecting a chilling and overbearing fierceness.

”Feng Qing, do you have a death wish?”

As Rong Ling’s shout resounded, several figures rushed in, all standing there dumbfounded.

Their own Princess Consort had brazenly shoved the Prince to the bed corner, sleeping soundly herself.

Due to Rong Ling’s earlier shout, Feng Qing ultimately woke up, groggily opening her eyes to find a man glaring at her with raging fire.

”What? What happened?”

Upon first waking, Feng Qing’s mind was a bit sluggish, seeing Rong Ling looking like he wanted to kill her, she found it strange.

Hearing her words, Rong Ling gritted his teeth and said, ”Feng Qing, do you have a death wish? If so, I can fulfill it for you.”
