The Empress Wants a Divorce Every Day

Chapter 139: Chapter 138: Am I Especially Virtuous and Especially Qualified

Rong Ling didn’t wait for Feng Qing to speak, and said again, ”Enough, you are my main wife, serving me is the right thing to do, don’t be so embarrassed and angry.”

Feng Qing glared at him in anger and shouted, ”I’m not embarrassed and angry, I never wanted to serve the Prince’s medicinal bath, nor did I want to take advantage of the Prince, I?”

At the end of her words, Feng Qing simply stopped talking, turned around and walked out: ”Can’t be bothered with you, I’m going to sleep.”

As Feng Qing’s words fell, behind her Rong Ling’s expression suddenly turned cold, with dark pupils deep and dangerous, a sharp gaze piercing through.

”This temper is really getting worse, are you taking me for granted?”

His voice was gloomy and cold, making Feng Qing immediately recall his ruthless nature; even if she was his lifesaver, angering him might not end well for her.

Thinking of this, Feng Qing turned and walked back to Rong Ling’s side, smiling as she said, ”Prince, I was just joking with you.”

Rong Ling’s sensual lips curved upward, but the curve held little warmth, his profound and chilling black eyes fixed on her, making Feng Qing particularly uncomfortable.

”What’s the matter with you, Prince?”

Rong Ling spoke word by word, ”As the main wife of Prince Yong Mansion, you should know what should and shouldn’t be done, don’t forget your identity, do you know what your most important job is?”

Feng Qing pulled a corner of her mouth speechlessly, was he really planning to make her the main wife of Prince Yong Mansion, what a headache!

Feng Qing didn’t think this guy liked or loved her in any way, the reason he made her the main wife of Prince Yong Mansion was probably because she saved him, thus making her the main wife, does this count as repaying with himself?

No, in his mind, I fear this is his reward for her.

Feng Qing ground her teeth harshly in her heart, she didn’t care for such a reward, if he really wanted to reward her, he might as well reward her with more silver.

While Feng Qing was daydreaming, from the bed, Rong Ling hadn’t heard her speak, raising his eyes to look at her heavily: ”I was asking you a question.”

Feng Qing startled herself awake, quickly stood properly, and respectfully said, ”As the Princess Consort of the Mansion, firstly I must not disgrace the Mansion, secondly, I must not tarnish the Mansion’s reputation, thirdly, I must be respectful to the Prince, fourthly, I must be virtuous, managing all matters within the Mansion well, from the Mansion’s chores to the concubines within the Mansion, everything must be handled properly.”

After Feng Qing answered, she looked at the man on the bed with a face full of smiles, how’s that? Is my answer satisfactory to the Prince? As a Princess Consort, am I particularly virtuous and qualified?

Feng Qing looked at Rong Ling brightly, Rong Ling shot a cold glance at her, saying gloomily, ”As the Princess Consort, your primary task is to take good care of me, and manage all my affairs, you’re mixing up the priorities.”

Feng Qing’s face involuntarily turned black, how did it go round and round back to the topic of taking care of the Prince, is he going to say next that it is rightful for her to serve him a bath?

As Feng Qing was thinking about this, outside the door, Nan Feng came in to report: ”Prince, the medicinal bath water for the bath is ready.”

On the bed, Rong Ling nodded and turned his gaze to Feng Qing at the front of the bed, thinking of having to assist Rong Ling in bathing made Feng Qing feel entirely uncomfortable.

She looked at Rong Ling pitifully and said, ”Prince, you are so tall, and I am so petite, I definitely can’t support you, it’s better to let Nanfeng Guard help you to the bath.”
