The Empress Wants a Divorce Every Day

Chapter 141: Chapter 140: Just You Wait

Rong Ling never expected this woman to suddenly push him away; unprepared, he was pushed directly to the ground by Feng Qing, watching himself about to fall.

Instinctively, Rong Ling reached out to grab, pulling Feng Qing down to the ground with him.

With a thud, the two fell to the ground together, with Rong Ling being the cushion underneath.

Man below, woman on top, perfectly aligned together.

Rong Ling was already weak, and the fall made him dizzy and nearly pass out.

Through gritted teeth, he roared at Feng Qing, who was stunned, having fallen on top of him, ”Feng Qing, how dare you push me away!”

Feng Qing was initially stunned by the scene, only realizing what she had done when she heard Rong Ling’s roar.

She had actually pushed him away in anger, so does this mean she’s in for trouble?

As Feng Qing thought about this, she lay on Rong Ling and begged for forgiveness, ”Prince, I didn’t mean it, please, please don’t blame me. I didn’t think a gentle push would make you fall.”

After all, it’s because you’re too weak.

Feng Qing’s words made Rong Ling, who was lying on the ground, even more furious. He panted heavily, coldly commanding, ”Get off me!”

Upon hearing his words, Feng Qing struggled to get up. Just then, Nan Feng and two subordinates entered, exclaiming in shock at the scene.

”Prince, Princess Consort, what are you doing?”

Could it be that the Princess Consort wants to force herself on the Prince? Princess Consort, could you wait until the Prince is in better health?

Feng Qing was startled by Nan Feng’s exclamation, and her hand went limp, causing her to fall back onto Rong Ling.

Rong Ling, hit by her again, was so weak he could hardly speak properly. It was a while before Feng Qing got up, and he struggled to glare at Feng Qing fiercely.

”Feng Qing, just you wait.”

Feng Qing looked at Rong Ling’s fierce expression, realizing he was keeping a mental note of her misdeeds. Given this, she didn’t mind letting him add one more note.

Thinking this, Feng Qing turned to Nan Feng and said, ”Nan Feng, I’m too weak to serve the Prince his bath, so you take over.”

Having said that, she decisively turned and ran, thinking, it’s already on record, so what’s one more?

Behind her, Rong Ling’s face was as dark as it could be, his eyes sharp as blades, glaring at the woman who caused trouble and ran away.

Humph, does she think running away will solve anything? Just wait.

Rong Ling no longer paid attention to Feng Qing and turned to command Nan Feng, ”Help me take a bath.”

”Yes, Prince.”

Nan Feng carefully helped the Prince into the bath; the Prince was evidently in a bad mood, so it was best to serve with caution.

After running out of Rong Ling’s main residence, Feng Qing, with Si Qi and Si Hua, returned to Purple Bamboo Pavilion to rest, thinking that this way she could avoid Rong Ling’s reckoning later.

Si Qi and Si Hua were puzzled, ”Wasn’t the Princess Consort going to serve the Prince in his medicinal bath? Why is she back so soon?”

Feng Qing forced a laugh, unable to tell them she had offended their Prince again, and he was likely holding a grudge against her.

But it didn’t matter, she was tired and decided to wash up and go to sleep. She would deal with whatever came tomorrow. After soaking in the medicinal bath tonight, Rong Ling would probably be too tired to do anything but sleep.

By the time he was ready to settle accounts, it would be tomorrow, so she’d sleep well in preparation for his wrath.

However, Feng Qing completely forgot the extent of someone’s spitefulness, so as she held the quilt and slept soundly, Nan Feng brought subordinates over to fetch her.

”Princess Consort, the Prince requests you to keep watch overnight.”
