The Empress Wants a Divorce Every Day

Chapter 106: Chapter 105: Throwing One’s Seniority Around

In the room, Rong Ling was leaning on a couch to rest, it seemed he had been sleeping outside on the couch for the past two days.

Feng Qing glanced around and noticed that his enchanting demeanor had receded, revealing a pallor and weakness.

The potency of the Furong Drunk poison was indeed tyrannical, tormenting this prince to such a state.

Feng Qing snorted inwardly and greeted Nanny Luo, ”Nanny Luo is here.”

Nanny Luo barely frowned, feeling displeased with Feng Qing, thinking she is ugly and lacks manners.

Actually, since Feng Qing entered the Regent Prince Mansion, Nanny Luo had been waiting for her, thinking that surely the Princess Consort would take some time to pay her a visit. After all, she is the nanny of the Prince, whom the Prince respects, so the Princess Consort would surely treat her with some courtesy.

But she didn’t expect to wait for so many days without the master coming to see her even once, showing how little regard she had for her.

Nanny Luo was greatly displeased, especially coming to visit the Prince today, finding no one attending to him, which made Nanny Luo even more furious.

That’s why she decisively asked Nan Feng to invite someone over, Nanny Luo’s speaking was actually a kind of probing.

However, now she felt a subtle pride, having spoken, the Prince immediately asked someone to call the Princess Consort over.

Looking at all this, in the Prince’s heart, her status was indeed higher than this newly arrived Princess Consort.

Nanny Luo felt somewhat proud, so when she saw Feng Qing, she was somewhat presumptuous in her demeanor.

”Princess Consort, it is not for this old servant to say, but the Prince is like this, and as Princess Consort should you not serve the Prince well? You just let the Prince lie here alone like this. How do you show yourself as the Princess Consort? If you truly do not want to serve the Prince, at least call Consort Jiang and the others to attend to him. How can you let the Prince lie here alone?”

Rong Ling, with a faint expression, flipped through the book in his hand, seemingly not hearing, though he was inwardly simmering with anger. The past few days he kept thinking Feng Qing would come to see him. After all, she is his Princess Consort, isn’t she? Yet, the result was, this woman hadn’t even looked at him once.

The more Rong Ling pondered, the more annoyed he became, especially recalling the woman’s previous talk about leaving the Regent Prince Mansion for the Hundred Medicine Valley.

Ha, married into the Regent Prince Mansion and now with the place in turmoil, she simply leaves, her thought was surely very serene.

Rong Ling thought while casting a cold sidelong glance at Feng Qing, seeing her staring impatiently at Nanny Luo with every intention to erupt.

Rong Ling knew full well that when this woman got angry, she really wouldn’t spare Nanny Luo’s face. At least this was his nanny, and Rong Ling didn’t want them to quarrel, so he raised his voice.

”Nanny, the Princess Consort is here, you should go rest.”

Nanny Luo was speaking quite happily, but hearing the Prince speak, she couldn’t say anything further.

Actually, Nanny Luo was very shrewd, always knowing just the right amount to say, never angering Rong Ling. This is also the reason she could stay.

Others did not know, but when Rong Ling cherishes old ties, she actually did know, the reason she could stay was because she was the nanny the late Emperor had found for Rong Ling, and Rong Ling remembered the late Emperor’s kindness, thus keeping her.

Nanny Luo thought while standing up, saying, ”Alright, the old servant will leave first.”

As she spoke, she looked up again at Feng Qing and said, ”Princess Consort, stay and take good care of the Prince.”

With a matronly air, Feng Qing couldn’t help but mutter behind her, ”Really thinks she’s my mother-in-law.”
