The Empress Wants a Divorce Every Day

Chapter 140: Chapter 139: You Are This King’s Princess Consort, So You Must Slowly Get Used to My Presence

Feng Qing finished speaking, and Rong Ling coldly snorted lightly, ”Come here.”

Feng Qing helplessly walked over to the bedside, where Rong Ling slowly sat up, placing his hand on Feng Qing’s arm.

Feng Qing gazed at that slender, jade-like hand, perfect like jade; just a pair of hands could spark endless imagination, let alone the person.

As Feng Qing was thinking, Rong Ling, who was holding her arm to sit up, spoke, ”Alright, help this Prince over there.”

”Alright, Prince.”

Feng Qing noticed that Rong Ling merely wanted her to support him and did not make any overly intimate gestures, which made her feel much more at ease.

However, after just a few steps, Rong Ling was clearly struggling a bit, his breath slightly growing heavier, and his steps became somewhat labored.

Feng Qing instinctively looked up and saw sweat beading on Rong Ling’s face.

This sweat made his cheeks glisten, even the strands of hair by his ears stuck to his face. Such a state did not make him look pale and haggard; instead, it exuded a malevolent sickly beauty, and his deep and dusky eyes involuntarily took on a seductive allure.

Feng Qing was momentarily stunned until Rong Ling’s arm stretched out to wrap around her shoulder, awakening her.

”Prince, what, what are you doing?”

Rong Ling saw her panic-stricken flustered look and couldn’t help but find it amusing. This side of hers actually made him feel intrigued.

The usually sly and cunning little woman certainly had this side of panic and nervousness.

Rong Ling instinctively wanted to tease her, leaned in closer, and murmured softly, ”This Prince just doesn’t have the strength to walk, so I’m leaning on the Princess Consort. What is the Princess Consort thinking?”

Feng Qing was entirely enveloped in Rong Ling’s aura, a scent carrying a tint of refreshing coolness, subtle and icy, just like him.

Feng Qing had never been so close to anyone in her life; her whole body felt uneasy, and her limbs grew somewhat stiff.

”Prince, let go of me.”

She was as anxious as a deer trapped in an enemy ambush. Amusement surged in Rong Ling’s eyes, his inclination to tease her grew stronger.

”Princess Consort, your ears seem to be red.”

Feng Qing instinctively denied, ”You’re talking nonsense, don’t say that. My ears aren’t red at all.”

Rong Ling’s face slowly lowered, drawing nearer to Feng Qing’s face; his dark eyes fixed on Feng Qing’s little earlobes. Although a bit dark, they were round, smooth, and adorable.

Looking at her, Rong Ling suddenly felt dry in his throat and promptly withdrew a bit.

Still, he teased, ”They truly are red; is the Princess Consort bashful?”

Rong Ling finished speaking and straightened up, but still held onto Feng Qing’s shoulder as they continued toward the bathing room.

Feng Qing wanted to free herself from his arm but worried about using too much strength and accidentally throwing him off, fearing she might get into trouble.

Thus, Feng Qing could only diligently suppress her discomfort, denying while enduring, ”Who’s being bashful? Don’t talk nonsense, Prince.”

”It’s not bashfulness, just not accustomed to interacting with this Prince in this way, right?”

Rong Ling thought he was spot on, seeming that his little Princess isn’t used to being so close to him yet. Since he’s decided to make her his Princess Consort, she ought to become well accustomed to his presence.

Rong Ling mused while speaking leisurely, ”You are this Prince’s Princess Consort, so you must slowly get used to this Prince’s presence. Don’t merely think about being this close now; soon we’ll be sharing a bed, consummating, and more...”

Before Rong Ling finished his sentence, Feng Qing exploded; he kept pushing it. Who wanted to share a bed with him, and who wanted to consummate? Truly a self-serving narrative.

At the peak of anger, Feng Qing abruptly raised her hand and pushed Rong Ling off her shoulder.
