The Empress Wants a Divorce Every Day

Chapter 142: Chapter 141: Princess Consort, That’s Your Husband

Feng Qing, clutching her quilt, was in a drowsy haze and a bit confused. Upon hearing Nan Feng outside the door, she mumbled, ”Night watch, what night are we watching, I won’t do it.”

As soon as she finished speaking, she promptly flopped back onto the bed.

Outside, Nan Feng heard the commotion and twitched the corner of his mouth. Meanwhile, thinking of the Prince with a dark face unwillingly staying awake, he also felt an intense headache.

Clearly, the Prince’s body was very weak, and after a bath, he should sleep and rest early, but he stubbornly insisted on the Princess Consort coming over for the night watch.

What could he do? These two masters are too much trouble, and they pitied those of them underlings.

Nan Feng, hearing no movement inside, spoke up again, ”Princess Consort, the Prince said if you don’t go, he’ll come over and sleep with you.”

Sleep together? Sleep together?

These words immediately woke Feng Qing, and she opened her eyes in shock, asking Nan Feng outside, ”Who did you say would sleep with whom?”

Nan Feng replied earnestly, ”The Prince said if the Princess Consort doesn’t come to keep watch for him, he’ll come over and sleep with the Princess Consort.”

Feng Qing’s face darkened upon hearing that, but considering Rong Ling’s current physical condition, huh, even if they slept together, he couldn’t do anything improper.

So Feng Qing very much wanted to shout boldly, let’s sleep together, who’s afraid of whom?

Yet, thinking about the scenario of sleeping with Rong Ling, she still felt uncomfortable.

Never mind, better to go keep watch for that guy; she had offended him earlier, and if she didn’t let him vent this time, both he and she would be tired.

”Alright, I got it.”

Yawning, Feng Qing cursed Rong Ling in her heart 108 times over, that jerk, if he hadn’t suddenly mentioned sleeping together, consummation and whatnot, would she have been so angry as to shove him out?

And now he blames her again.

Feng Qing didn’t look happy, her expression sour. Si Qi and Si Hua carefully served her dressing and washing, and by the time Feng Qing was fully dressed and stepped out, the night was already deep.

Feng Qing looked at the pitch-black night and then at Nan Feng, who was guarding the door, and said, ”Are you sure your Lord can still endure?”

Nan Feng looked speechless at Feng Qing and weakly replied, ”Princess Consort, can’t you coexist peacefully with the Prince? Right now, he is still a patient.”

Feng Qing sneered, ”Heh, so being a patient gives him the right to act like a rogue, to get handsy?”

Nan Feng was stunned, staring blankly at Feng Qing as she walked out. Princess Consort, have you forgotten something? That’s your husband. Do you understand what ’husband’ means?

He is someone who can do anything he wants to you. Not just acting like a rogue, getting handsy, but even making you strip down and wait in bed is your fate.

No, this sort of thing, shouldn’t women be fighting over for the chance to be favored? Why is it different with the Princess Consort?

Feng Qing had no idea about the internal struggles of Nan Feng and the others. She, with Si Qi and Si Hua, headed fearlessly toward Yijing Courtyard.

However, upon entering the yard of Yijing Courtyard, concern arose in Feng Qing’s heart about how that Lord intended to settle scores with her later.

But as she thought more, Feng Qing wasn’t worried again, figuring that Rong Ling was probably asleep by now, so why should she worry?

It was only when she walked into Rong Ling’s bedroom and saw those cold pupils, stubbornly staying awake waiting for her, that Feng Qing felt slightly weak-kneed. Did he have to be so dramatic, insisting on settling scores with her?

Although muttering to herself, Feng Qing’s face was full of a sun-like bright smile, ”Prince, why aren’t you sleeping yet? Your health isn’t good, quickly sleep, sleep, otherwise, it won’t recover easily.”
