Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

Remote attack skills of the Demon Fiend and the war weapons of the Demon Tribe strike against the black light shield, immediately being decomposed and digested, unable to cause even a slightest bit of consumption—as if an adult male, even if bombarded by paper balls for a day, would remain unharmed.

In certain cases, a difference in quality cannot be compensated by quantity.

Seeing Wen Yu effortlessly countering all conventional means, the Third Generation Seed of Flames has realized that the means itself and others have prepared against Sequence Number 2 must be activated next.

In the distance, intense heat gradually accumulated, and the Third Generation Seed of Flames looked up, instantly spotting the strong figure hovering in mid-air—a Bone Demon dressed exactly like itself.

At this moment, the Bone Demon was holding aloft a huge fireball nearly fifteen meters in diameter, the intense light and heat directly drawing the attention of Wen Yu standing far away on the city gates.

Simultaneously, the Third Generation Seed of Flames stealthily raised a hand, where only a table tennis ball-sized flame energy orb quietly condensed, and then, controlled by the Third Generation Seed of Flames, it moved eerily fast towards the Almighty Demon Vine.

With one overt, one covert—under the identity of the Third Generation Seed of Flames, the Demon Tribe would never let him fall into Wen Yu’s sight range like cannon fodder!

...

”Codename: Blaze?”

Seeing the Bone Demon in the distance jumping out like a fool, Wen Yu swept his soul perception over, and then detected traces of skill camouflage on this Demon Fiend.

”No, it’s not.”

Watching the fire in the distance grow more compact, its brightness and heat exceeding the absorbing capacity of the Almighty Demon Vine, Wen Yu slowly snapped his fingers.

The black light shield enveloping the New Hope Assembly Place suddenly changed, with a highly compressed darkness energy conglomeration similar to an arrow slowly forming on the shield’s exterior, followed by a ”boom.”

The giant drew his bow, the sharp arrow of darkness instantly slicing through space, rippling with circles of Sound Explode Cloud, directly stabbing the Bone Demon.

”Sizzle...”

A sound like a leak emerged, and the Bone Demon’s three-meter-high body, under the corrosion of dark power, instantly turned into dry bones, and the giant fireball it once held aloft exploded on the spot, turning into a sea of fire at the center of the Demon Tribe’s position.

A brief turbulence...

The next second, Wen Yu suddenly furrowed his brow, only because the Almighty Demon Vine sent back feedback of being attacked.

...

Watching the flame orb formed by his hand flying into the distance, the Third Generation Seed of Flames swiftly retrieved a tool to conceal his energy fluctuations and dive into the endless Demon Army beyond, disappearing altogether.

The flame energy on the target in the distance grew increasingly intense, to which the Third Generation Seed of Flames scoffed—being the host of the Third Generation Seed of Flames, manipulating fire was his forte. The energy fluctuations of a showy target, fearful of being unnoticed while setting aflame, wasn’t that seeking death?

Hence, a target is a target—on one hand, to draw the attention of Sequence Number 2, and on the other, let it spread out as much flame energy fluctuations as possible to cover his own attacks.

Although the attacks by the Third Generation Seed of Flames are silent and undetectable, an additional layer of security is always preferable.

The black arrow instantly slew the target. Seeing Sequence Number 2’s dismissive countenance, he obviously detected the target’s falsehood, but it doesn’t matter. The Demon Tribe, capable of presenting the first target, can provide a second, third, even the hundredth…

As long as the target’s diverted, it doesn’t matter how! The Third Generation Seed of Flames thought, seeing another figure identical to himself shoot skyward in the distance, with the same appearance, same horns, and raising fire.

But differently, the Third Generation Seed of Flames’ attack had already hit the target!

...

The purple flame energy orb, seemingly possessing its own life, hid beside the charging Demon Cannon Fodders, evading pervasive attacks and the gaze from the city gates above.

The entity, being only the size of a ping-pong ball, along with no energy leakage at all… such a small object as this moves unnoticed on a chaotic battlefield.

Until the purple fireball reached the war front—a place where the Almighty Demon Vine tangled with Demon Cannon Fodders.

”Pff…”

The fireball exploded, like a suppressed fart…

However, the result was exceptionally dazzling!

Purple flame erupted across the sky, directly drenching the Almighty Demon Vine’s tendrils, instantly turning its branches to ash! Simultaneously, purple flame, like flowing lava, streamed across the battlefield, clinging tightly, and the Almighty Demon Vine crumbled wherever it spread.

The mighty fire is naturally the nemesis of the Almighty Demon Vine!

Seeing this from the city gates afar, Wen Yu’s eyebrows sharply pulled together, then glanced at the rising target in the distance once more.

At the outset of battle, the first tough challenge had already arisen…

The fire held by the target is enough to damage the Almighty Demon Vine, not as terrifying as the purple flame, but Wen Yu can’t ignore it, while the threat of purple flame is greater! Yet Wen Yu couldn’t locate the target.

Manipulating another arrow of darkness energy, after slaying the second target, from another direction, another purple flame ascended, burning open a large gap in the Almighty Demon Vine’s defense line!

Without the Almighty Demon Vine, the mutant beasts and professionists at New Hope Assembly Place will face the demonic tide directly, holding out for mere hours in such circumstances, albeit Wen Yu could choose not to use the Almighty Demon Vine to construct the outer defense line and adopt dark power, a little thought clarifies the Demon Tribe would be prepared and equipped to counteract this.

As for the Demon Tribe’s true aim—is it not about separating him and his soul pets one by one to defeat them individually.

Those two Soul Abiogenetic Creations were employed just like that!

At this juncture, Wen Yu recalled communication with Lin Haifeng, directly opening the 5th Soul Realm, releasing Victor.

”Go, find that one playing with fire, eliminate him!”

”Ok!”

Victor blinked at Wen Yu before promptly vanishing.

The cat and mouse game commenced…

Concerning who is stronger between the cat and the mouse requires battle to ascertain!

...

”Pff…”

Yet another muffled fart, following which another purple glow soared, signifying another chunk of territory under the Almighty Demon Vine’s claim had fallen.

Within a short period, the Third Generation Seed of Flames had unleashed over twenty purple flame bombs, meaning over twenty targets have been arrow-stabbed to death.

But who cares? To Wen Yu, those are mere moths, and to the Third Generation Seed of Flames, those are merely cannon fodders.

As long as the goal is achieved, their deaths serve a purpose!

As for whether the goal was achieved…

”Meow~~”

A gentle voice echoed near the ear, then a sharp cold light instantly materialized beside the Third Generation Seed of Flames, the sharp claw marks seeming to tear through space, lingering in the air, simultaneously sweeping five ferocious wind blades past the rear of the Third Generation Seed of Flames, shredding countless Demon Fiends.

Barely swiveling aside, dodging Victor’s first assault, the Third Generation Seed of Flames ignited its body with rising flames, instantly forging a menacing armor from fire!

The armor appeared dark purple, upon which sinister runes faintly emerged, its towering energy fluctuations unleashed widely, silently proclaiming the formidable power of this armor!

Almost tangible, the armor collided with Victor’s second claw, emitting a ”dong” sound.

The figure of the Third Generation Seed of Flames was instantly blasted away yet remained unscathed, while Victor although expressionless, from the blackened right front paw’s tremble, revealed this encounter was not in Victor’s favor.

In the distance, the terrifying armor-clad figure crashed through a whole line of Demon Fiends within hundred meters, then leisurely stood, eyes fixed on Victor’s enormous form emerging, smirking viciously in triumph before crushing a black crystal clenched in the right hand!

Black Light swept over, vast space fluctuations erupted, and within moments, all life forms within a kilometer radius vanished into nothingness.

Including the Third Generation Seed of Flames, including Victor.
