Wilderness Survival with Druid System

”Two vehicles, four people.”

Dennis whispered as he walked at the front of the group.

Chen Wen observed the situation clearly. Although it was somewhat different from the Hunting Owl Organization, the four people in this group seemed to be older.

Whether in their appearance or the way they moved, they looked more like elderly individuals.

Or rather, people of advanced age.

Chen Wen frowned slightly and said, ”They don’t seem like bad guys; let’s not get too close. Ask them what they’re doing.”

Dennis nodded.

From a distance of fifty meters, Dennis shouted loudly, ”Hey! Do you need help?”

The other party remained silent for a while.

They were scrutinizing Chen Wen’s group.

”Jens, do you think they are bad guys?”

”Good or bad isn’t written on their faces, but judging by their looks, they seem to be young people.”

”Should we engage with them?”

”Let’s contact them; otherwise, with just the few of us, it will take at least a day to drag the vehicle out. Don’t forget our mission!”

After a brief discussion among themselves.

Jens moved to the front of their group and shouted loudly, ”Hey, young travelers, if you can, we do need your help!”

Chen Wen and Dennis exchanged a glance, and cautiously, they asked, ”Of course, but we need to know your identity.”

The other side thought for a moment and said, ”We are photographers, here to capture some precious scenes.”

It seemed they were worried that the group wouldn’t believe them.

Jens took out a heavy camera from the vehicle and showed it to everyone.

Seeing the camera brought out by the other party, Adam hissed, ”It should be real. The camera he brought out is a professional one, and judging by the brand, it’s Panasonic. I estimate this camera alone probably costs several ten thousand US Dollars!”

Chances are ninety percent that they’re not from the Hunting Owl.

After seeing the camera, Chen Wen clearly realized this.

Because on their vehicle, Chen Wen also spotted a lot of filming equipment and ample supplies.

There wasn’t a single item for hunting.

”Let’s go and see what help they need.”

Chen Wen said.

But just as they were moving forward, the other party asked, ”What is your profession?”

After Dennis was fairly certain they were not enemies, he smiled and said, ”We are adventurers, the professional kind!”

Upon hearing this.

Jens seemed a little puzzled.

Adventurers?

This profession is not very common!

He shook his head and said, ”Then come over and let’s talk!”

...

Chen Wen and the group brought a large number of camels near the few people.

He softly instructed the lead camel to restrain the others and to hideaway.

Then he and the others walked toward the group claiming to be photographers.

The other party gathered together as well.

Chen Wen’s eyes noticed one person with a bulge at the waist, indicating they also had weapons.

However, abroad, carrying weapons is quite normal.

In Australia, individuals are permitted to own guns.

It seemed that the person with firearms noticed Chen Wen’s gaze, giving him a slight nod, and Chen Wen responded with a smile.

”What trouble are you experiencing?”

According to the discussion he had with Chen Wen, Dennis was responsible for communicating with the group.

Jens moved to the front of their group, apparently the leader.

”As you can see, our vehicle is stuck in this dried-up riverbed.”

Following the direction of the person’s pointing, Chen Wen noticed the situation they were referring to.

Seems like they overestimated the vehicle’s ground clearance.

If they were four young people, it wouldn’t be as troublesome.

After clearing some silt, they could lift the vehicle and solve the problem.

But four elderly individuals couldn’t manage that.

Chen Wen noticed one of the elderly holding a shovel, with traces of cleaning the ground with it.

He exchanged a glance with Dennis.

Dennis laughed and said, ”Leave it to us!”

Chen Wen and Dennis brought out their weapons in front of everyone, handing them to Adam.

Then they borrowed a shovel.

Dennis used it to clear away all the silt surrounding the vehicle.

After he finished.

Chen Wen stepped into the riverbed and together with Dennis lifted the sides of the vehicle.

Adam Fred came to a higher ground and pushed the vehicle.

With Chen Wen’s calling, everyone exerted force together.

Chen Wen secretly used ”Giant Strength” to assist in pushing, and the vehicle stuck in the riverbed was easily moved by everyone.

”Haha! Nice job, youngsters!”

Seeing the stuck vehicle regain its freedom, several elderly cheered with raised arms.

Among them, the apparent leader, Jens, stepped in front to thank the group.

But at this moment, Dennis noticed something unusual with the vehicle they just pushed up.

He couldn’t help but interrupt the cheering crowd, saying, ”Everyone, don’t celebrate too soon. Look at the right rear tire of the vehicle, it’s deflated!”

Upon hearing this, several of the elderly couldn’t help but swear.

”Damn it, Toreff! How many tires have you blown now?!”

”No sour pickles can be eaten, there are too many rocks in this damn place, can you blame me?”

”If not you, who else can I blame?”

”Everyone, stop arguing. The most serious problem now is that we no longer have spare tires to replace!”

The elderly fell silent for a while.

They realized a serious issue.

Without spare tires, this vehicle is essentially useless!

Moreover, the nearest city where car tires can be purchased is hundreds of kilometers away!

”What do we do?”

Arguing wouldn’t yield solutions, so after calming down, each pondered a strategy.

Chen Wen’s group saw that the aged photographers couldn’t come up with anything suitable for the time being.

Thus, they took their camels and supplies to set up camp in the oasis.

They would rest and adjust for the whole day today and tomorrow.

The day after tomorrow, they would continue their journey.

...

Watching the young people leave.

Jens said, ”Klaus, go bring them some food. I noticed they seem to be eating jerky or something similar.”

Klaus nodded and left with the supplies.

The remaining individuals started pondering how to handle the matter of the burst tire.

Soon, the usually silent Rolf spoke, ”I think we should divide into two groups. Jens and I will stay here, and find opportunities to shoot, while Toreff and Klaus go together and drive to the nearest city to purchase spare tires and other supplies. What do you think?”

Upon hearing this, Jens gritted his teeth at Toreff, ”You better hurry up! Also, don’t blow any more tires!”

Toreff awkwardly nodded, ”Don’t worry, it won’t happen this time!”

After speaking, Jens had a hint of resignation, ”If it weren’t for the budget running low, we could call someone to deliver spare tires directly!”

Talking about budget caused everyone to shake their heads again.

The three unloaded equipment from the intact vehicle, and upon Klaus’s return, informed him of their decision.

Klaus had no objections.

After discussing, they felt the sooner the better.

Toreff drove the car, taking Klaus toward the nearest city.

The remaining Jens and Rolf then took out tents, preparing to find a place to camp.

Having crawled through the wilderness for nearly three years, they had gained some camping experience.

They found a relatively flat spot near the riverbed and set up the tent.

Then the two busily transferred valuables to the vehicle with the burst tire. By the time they were done, it was almost evening.
