Wilderness Survival with Druid System

Australian Association here.

The news that Chen Wen tamed a large group of camels spread here too.

No matter how others see it, the Australian Association truly admires him.

After all, only the local survivors know how extraordinary Chen Wen’s taming was this time.

Since learning that in wilderness survival, humans can gain advantages by taming animals,

the associations have also attempted it.

The Australian Association tried taming camels and wild dogs.

But unfortunately,

the Australian wild dogs have stable packs, and it’s too hard to encounter a lone one.

Taming a pack of wild dogs is extremely difficult.

Most wild dog packs, upon seeing humans, will immediately run away.

The remaining few will watch for a while, but if they sense no opportunity, they will still flee.

So, the plan to tame Australian wild dogs failed.

As for camels,

some have succeeded, like Australia’s top seed, Elvin.

Under sufficient food conditions, some vice-presidents here can tame camels too.

But the probability is very low.

Successfully taming them three or four out of ten times is considered expert level.

The success rate averages around 10% to 20%.

In contrast, Chen Wen,

what is this?

Taming a group at once?

Isn’t this success rate over a thousand percent?

A near hundredfold difference!

Moreover, Chen Wen’s taming was incredibly fast and efficient.

According to the records here, Elvin took an entire afternoon to lead a relatively docile female camel away from a wild herd.

Chen Wen used less than twenty minutes.

He directly took both males and females, even subadult camels!

Simply unbelievable!

Members of the Australian Association who received this news looked profoundly shaken, especially those participating in the Eight Extremes Challenge.

One person, in animal taming, outperformed an entire association here. What to do if encountered later on?

But speaking of having an elder at home being like having a treasure,

the elderly vice-president, seeing everyone’s gloomy expressions, couldn’t help but say: ”Can’t you learn from Dennis? Directly contact Chen Wen, hold tightly to his coattails, and survive together! Are you stupid? Do you have to go against such a monster head-on?”

The vice-president, in his youth, was also a fierce character.

But his fierceness was in communication.

In the challenges he passed, 90% were completed in collaboration with the world’s top experts.

Upon hearing this, the Australian participants in the Eight Extremes Challenge suddenly saw the light.

They immediately sought advice from the vice-president.

The vice-president waved his hand and gave them a string of mysterious numbers.

It was Chen Wen’s contact information.

...

Japan Association.

Seeing Chen Wen tame another group of camels, many members couldn’t help but bang their heads against the wall.

Darn it!

Chen Wen-san, you can even tame camels now, why still attack our Japan team?

The members thought long and hard, and finally pinpointed a blind spot that even Chen Wen might not know.

It was Feng Zhong!

”Chen Jun and Feng Zhong have a bad relationship; he must have attacked us because of this!”

”Makes perfect sense! I think so too!”

”I think if we are to survive together with Chen Wen, we must definitely distance ourselves from Feng Zhong!”

”Makes sense!”

”And we must watch out for Gaston! He’s a snitch, everyone must be wary!”

”Gaston is just too nasty!”

...

Inside an Australian hospital.

Feng Zhong is still under rescue treatment.

Yoshikawa Feng and Matsui Reika, with lighter injuries, quickly received news from the association.

Upon learning Chen Wen tamed yet another large group of camels,

the two fell silent.

They pondered deeply, since Chen Wen could tame camels, why attack them?

Was it purely revenge?

But it didn’t seem so, Chen Wen didn’t seriously injure them either.

Even Feng Zhong, whom they perceived to have the greatest conflict with Chen Wen, was self-inflicted in making his injuries severe.

They didn’t know Chen Wen’s wooden spear was poisoned.

Eventually, Matsui Reika made a guess.

She felt their attack was entirely because Gaston spoke out of turn.

Had Gaston not said an extra word, Chen Wen and his team would likely have continued taming them nine times out of ten.

Gaston!

The two in the ward were fuming, longing for a confrontation with Gaston right then.

...

With the Japan team eliminated, the challenge’s situation became clear.

In the evening, the Australian chairman saw the situation of Chen Wen and his team and, in spite of having passed six challenges himself, couldn’t help but gape.

This person is too incredible!

Not only did he attack the Japan team alone, but he also tamed a group of camels?

The Australian chairman felt doubtful about life.

He believed Chen Wen held too many secrets.

Ultimately, he made the same decision as the vice-president: ”Inform all our participants to maintain good relations with Chen Wen during survival, attaching oneself to a strong ally isn’t shameful at times like this.”

After all, he was also one of Liu Yu’s regular partners back then.

Of course, the Australian chairman wasn’t simply clinging.

Anyone who could gain Liu Yu’s attention and collaborate with him multiple times was naturally top-tier.

...

Chen Wen wasn’t aware that taming this group of camels had led various associations to establish friendly policies towards him.

At the very least, maintain normal relationships, and don’t provoke him actively.

He is now plotting his next plan.

The route from the third oasis to the fourth oasis is arguably the easiest stretch so far.

Many scattered oases are distributed around this route.

This is all due to the abundant rainfall during the Kimberley Plateau’s rainy season, which provided ample groundwater support for this area.

Making the desert teeming with life.

Thus, as competitors traverse this section, they only need to ensure they aren’t attacked by poisonous insects or snakes.

This greatly facilitated Chen Wen and his team’s journey.

After all, Chen Wen possesses the [Pest Repellent] trait, and once triggered, any insect will instinctively stay away from him.

Moreover, Dennis had found many plants with mosquito-repelling effects from the oases.

He collected these plants, burned them in the campfire, and even nighttime could repel insects and mosquitoes.

Ensuring everyone’s rest.

As for poisonous snakes,

Taipan Snakes thrive in this area.

It can anticipate approaching snakes and alert Chen Wen.

Moreover, most poisonous snakes won’t attack humans; after detecting human presence, they would even avoid them deliberately.

Therefore, as Chen Wen’s group traveled, one could say they experienced a peaceful journey.

The camels’ food was not a concern for Chen Wen either.

The oases along the way not only provided nourishment but also allowed the camels to feed well.

Water, too, was in abundance.

Thus, with everything going smoothly, Chen Wen and his companions rode camels.

Speeding ahead of the US and UK and Russian-French teams.

As they were about to reach the fourth oasis,

Chen Wen’s group completely overtook the Russian-French team, moving to the forefront of all participants.
