Wilderness Survival with Druid System

Gluttony, what a great personality!

Listening to the noises from the system, Chen Wen couldn’t help but sigh again.

Look, to tame an animal with such a gluttonous nature, as long as you have food in hand, there’s almost no need to say much, it practically agrees instantly to come along.

Compared to the long struggle with the howling kite.

The difference is really stark!

He reached out and gently patted the head of the dromedary camel, ”Let’s go. By the way, can your companions behind you come along?”

Hearing Chen Wen’s question.

The dromedary glanced at its harem and children.

It puzzledly asked Chen Wen, ”If they don’t follow me, who else would they follow?”

As the head of the household, how could the dromedary abandon its big family?

After figuring this out, Chen Wen wryly patted his own head.

The animals he encountered before either had weak group instincts or were solitary seniors driven out of the group.

He had overlooked this point.

After a simple communication with the dromedary, Chen Wen took the remaining wheat to the other dromedaries and fed them some wheat as well.

Very quickly, these dromedaries gradually felt Chen Wen’s goodwill.

Their resistance towards his approach also diminished.

Feeling the timing was right, Chen Wen waved to the others, signaling them to approach.

Seeing the other humans approaching, the dromedaries, though tense, did not flee in fear.

Seeing this, Chen Wen seized the opportunity.

He had a few people take some wheat and feed it to the dromedaries.

It must be said that the leader of the gluttonous dromedaries likely had seven or eight family members with similar traits.

Under the temptation of wheat, soon these camels became docile.

And with the leader’s restraint, after just ten minutes of contact, these dromedaries were no different from the camels Chen Wen and the others had before.

Looking at the dromedary leader who decided to follow them, to distinguish it from the other dromedaries,

Chen Wen named it ”Camel King” and hung one of his lighter backpacks on Camel King’s back.

He then activated its communication feature,

allowing it to communicate with the howling kite and the inland Taipan snake.

Finding two new companions made the dromedary quite happy. It couldn’t stop chatting with the howling kite, looking quite lively.

Such a cheerful personality.

Chen Wen shook his head without much concern,

joining the others in loading supplies onto the camels.

Of course, the most important supplies were kept with the tamed camels.

The newly joined wild dromedaries needed some time to acclimate.

Their previous camels were mostly docile female dromedaries, so their addition didn’t cause rejection from Camel King’s group.

On the contrary, Camel King was very interested in these few docile dromedaries.

After all, according to it, these few dromedaries were considered beauties in the eyes of camels.

Chen Wen was left speechless by this comment.

He roughly compared the few dromedaries with wild dromedaries, and aside from being fatter and taller, there weren’t many differences.

Oh well, we humans can’t quite grasp camel aesthetics.

Chen Wen shook his head, deciding not to dwell on it.

As the others bonded with the camels, he closed his eyes to pick a word entry.

[You have received a friend’s recognition, please extract the entry your friend prepared for you]

[Your friend—the dromedary—has prepared a gift for you]

[Extracting... Extraction complete!]

[Please choose one of the following three entries]

[Camel Nose (Dromedary) (Purple): You have acquired a new organ—a camel nose (dromedary). You can now control the opening and closing of your nostrils to avoid sandstorms and reduce water loss from exhalation. PS: An organ entry. You can enable or disable this entry at will. Your body will automatically adapt to the new organ, and the new organ will adapt to your body.]

[Note: Buddy! Great stuff!—Dromedary]

[Masculine Aura (Dromedary) (Gold): You become more appealing to female dromedaries, and they are more likely to follow you. PS: A special entry, only found in the leader of any dromedary group.]

[Note: Buddy! Even better stuff!—Dromedary]

[Ship of the Desert (Gold): You are better adapted to the dry, arid desert and Gobi regions, as well as the sandstorm conditions in the desert. You have stronger mobility when surviving in desert and Gobi areas.]

[Note: Buddy! This is my best stuff!—Dromedary]

As expected, the entries given by Camel King weren’t bad, but Chen Wen wouldn’t choose the [Masculine Aura] entry.

So, naturally, it was eliminated.

And between the purple and gold, the more precious gold entry was chosen.

Even though Chen Wen already had quite a few gold entries,

he chose the [Ship of the Desert] entry, which could be used in most desert and Gobi areas.

This entry would have a broader application.

After choosing the entry,

Chen Wen and his group, with a magnificent herd of camels, continued on their journey.

Hua Country Survival Association.

After Liu Yu determined the handling plan for Feng Zhong, he could finally take a breather.

The matter with Feng Zhong was conclusively settled.

Being dishonest at home, he left behind numerous leads.

He even willingly collaborated with foreigners, including the Japanese, against his own country’s contestants abroad.

And he didn’t even achieve any results!

Thus, after a meeting, the association unanimously decided to strip Feng Zhong of all association positions and expel him from the association.

Also, the association would hold him strictly accountable for damaging the association’s interests!

The Survival Association, under the Exploration Association, although a non-profit social organization, had very strict and serious regulations inside.

With what Feng Zhong did, there’s no escaping serving a prison sentence for a few years.

Moreover, this guy got himself in trouble in the desert, worsening his injuries significantly.

Whether he can make it back is another issue.

Just as Liu Yu was lying on his chair, planning to rest his eyes for a moment,

his office door was slammed open with a bang.

Liu Yu’s face changed, and as he opened his eyes, he grabbed the glass ashtray at hand, ready to throw it out.

This instant alertness was typical of a seasoned explorer and survivor.

But upon seeing who it was, Liu Yu couldn’t help but curse, ”Are you trying to dismantle my office door?”

Zhao awkwardly waved his hand, ”My bad, I got too excited.”

Without waiting for Liu Yu to speak, Zhao mysteriously said, ”Do you know what Chen Wen just did?”

”What?”

Liu Yu was taken aback, ”Weren’t they supposed to continue their journey? Did something happen?”

”Heh, nothing happened to them.”

Zhao took out his phone and played a video only visible within the association, ”That kid tamed a group of camels!”

What the heck?

Taming camels and using ”group” as a unit of measurement?

Seeing Liu Yu’s dazed look, Zhao decisively took out his phone and snapped a photo with a click.

Liu Yu snapped back, raising his hand to unleash a series of attacks starting with the Desolate Heaven-Imprisoning Finger and adding several combos in succession.

Zhao, being an old friend and mischievous buddy, with his ’Peter Pan’ personality, often left Liu Yu feeling helpless.

After venting his frustration, Liu Yu sulkily grabbed the phone.

After watching for a while, he suddenly realized, ”Got it, he’s capturing the kingpin first to tame the male dromedary, then using its influence to tame the whole group of camels.”

”Not bad, quite strategic!”
