Wilderness Survival with Druid System

Arriving at the third oasis.

Fred calculated the time, and they were about ten days later than their initial estimate.

Meanwhile, Chen Wen had the hawk fly up and observe the situation of the third oasis from high above.

The hawk circled around and came back, saying, ”There are people, in two places, one to the northwest, the other to the east.”

Upon hearing this, Chen Wen immediately paired Fred and Dennis to head northwest to observe the situation.

As for himself, he took Adam to the east.

In the northwest direction of the third oasis.

Oleg and his team were resting here.

Everyone cleaned off the sand from their bodies and painfully cleansed their wounds.

They rubbed out the sand and dust with their hands.

The small patch of water they were in even showed a faint tint of blood.

It was at this time that Fred and his partner arrived.

Seeing Oleg, Fred was a bit emotional.

Seeing a fellow countryman, though not tearing up, it was indeed very heartwarming.

After chatting with Oleg for a bit, Fred learned about their situation; they were not doing well either.

”We’re leaving this afternoon.”

Oleg said, ”Good luck, this year’s Desert Extreme Challenge is much tougher than before.”

Fred nodded in agreement.

Meanwhile, Dennis seized the opportunity to observe Oleg’s group.

Oleg’s team still had quite a few camels, and Dennis immediately had the idea of raiding them.

But Lloyd and Phil kept their eyes on Dennis, their gaze filled with vigilance and resistance.

This made Dennis give up the idea of raiding them.

Oleg’s team was still very strong, and attacking them when they were on guard would result in heavy losses.

Moreover, since they were leaving in the afternoon, it was not suitable for an attack.

Consequently, Dennis stopped observing. Instead, he chatted amiably with Oleg for a few sentences before leaving with Fred.

As for borrowing camels, they never considered it.

The other party would not lend them.

...

To the east of the third oasis.

Gaston met with Chen Wen.

Seeing Chen Wen and Adam, Gaston was overjoyed: ”Hey! You guys! What are you doing here?”

Chen Wen chuckled, ”You’re still hanging in there; how could we be knocked out?”

Gaston laughed heartily and gave both of them a bear hug.

The three smelly men weren’t put off by each other.

”Where’s the rest of your team? How many are left now?”

Gaston smiled and asked, ”There are only four of us left over here.”

Hearing about the dire situation, Chen Wen couldn’t help but ask about their earlier experiences.

After learning that they lost one member in the sandstorm, both Chen Wen and Adam inhaled sharply.

They had avoided the most intense effects of the sandstorm by staying in a cave underground.

Adam couldn’t help but say, ”If we had faced the sandstorm on the ground without camels, all five of us would’ve been in danger!”

Chen Wen nodded as well.

Especially after Gaston described the miserable situation of the person who was eliminated, they felt a pang of fear.

When Gaston heard that they had lost their camels and only one was left...

Gaston immediately smirked, ”Hey, I have some intel for you, want it?”

”What intel?”

Chen Wen got interested.

Seeing Chen Wen’s interest, Gaston said, ”First, here’s the deal, next survival, take me with you. I don’t want to partner with Hope again; he’s way too stiff, surviving with him is no fun at all.”

Hearing this, Chen Wen waved his hand, ”Rest assured, I’ll definitely take you next time.”

Hearing this, Gaston immediately shared the intel.

”We encountered Japan’s team earlier, and their situation is bad. Matsui Reika’s wound seems infected. They’ve been at an oasis over there cleaning and treating the wound. If you need camels, you might try your luck; they should be the weakest right now!”

Hearing this intel, Adam and Chen Wen’s eyes brightened.

Great stuff!

It’s like being handed a pillow when you’re feeling sleepy!

Chen Wen patted Gaston on the shoulder, ”Good brother, no words needed, it’s all understood!”

Adam pondered for a moment, ”How did you know?”

Gaston pointed to the bandage on his shoulder, ”Someone in our team had a medical kit, Yoshikawa Feng tried to trade for it, and Hope figured it out.”

Hearing this, Chen Wen and Adam fully believed the intel.

Chen Wen said, ”If we can nab those camels, you’ll have earned a great merit!”

...

Chen Wen and Adam didn’t go to Gaston’s camp; Hope held a lot of sway over there.

And Chen Wen and Adam didn’t have an especially good relationship with Hope.

After bidding Gaston farewell, the two headed for their camp.

”Do you think Gaston can be trusted?”

Adam asked Chen Wen.

Although he was familiar with Gaston, given the situation, Adam still harbored some doubts.

Chen Wen understood Adam’s hesitation and smiled confidently, ”If you have doubts, don’t use them; if you use them, don’t doubt them. We have a good relationship with Gaston, and he has no reason to betray us.”

”Besides, with the hawk, isn’t it clear? Even if Matsui Reika isn’t hurt, and they’ve prepared a counter-ambush, what’s the harm?”

Chen Wen lightly wielded his long spear, looking relaxed.

Seeing the long spear.

Adam was immediately reassured.

”Alright, let the hawk scout it out. Once confirmed that the Japanese team is resting there, we’ll make our move!”

...

After returning to camp, everyone exchanged information.

Hearing Chen Wen’s findings, Dennis widened his eyes, ”A good chance! It’s a golden opportunity!”

”We heard from Oleg that the Japanese team attacked both Australia and Spain’s teams, robbing a lot of camels. If we can take down the Japanese team, the camel problem is solved!”

Fred bared his teeth, his eyes fierce, ”Take them down, easy!”

Hua Yun also agreed, ”Our conflict with them is irreconcilable; it’ll be either us eliminating them or them eliminating us, no need to hesitate!”

Seeing everyone agreeing to take action, Chen Wen naturally didn’t oppose.

He nodded, saying, ”In that case, I’ll have the hawk confirm if there are people there. Once confirmed, we’ll eat early, rest early, set out in the evening, reach that oasis, and strike at night!”

Hearing this, everyone acknowledged this simple plan and stopped mentioning taming.

After all, what’s faster than taking them by force!

After hearing Chen Wen’s instructions, the hawk immediately spread its wings and flew towards that oasis to scout the situation.

...

Seeing Chen Wen and his team determined to take action against the Japanese team.

Outside the screen.

Everyone at the Japan Association started cursing angrily.

However, they didn’t curse at Chen Wen and his team, but instead at Gaston for leaking the information.

Many were determined that if they encountered Gaston in other challenges, they’d make him pay!

On the Hua Association’s side.

Many were closely watching the scene.

Once Chen Wen strikes and takes down Feng Zhong, Feng Zhong being removed from the association would be a certainty!
