Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Fang Zheng thinks the word ”Moe” is truly one of humanity’s greatest inventions.

Just as the Goddess of Order said, you can’t fix a noun’s inherent concept within Chaos, for example, words with definite orientation like ”beautiful,” ”cute,” ”obedient,” ”kind,” ”justice” just won’t do. Strictly speaking, it’s like trying to install an Intel CPU onto an AMD motherboard; if you force it, it’ll definitely end in total, catastrophic failure.

But ”Moe” is different.

It doesn’t have any specific direction, yet it truly is a concept!

So cute!

Often, the emotions within oneself can be described with this word.

But what exactly is it? That’s not certain.

The only thing that can be confirmed is that the word ”Moe” represents the most beautiful, most tender part of everyone’s hearts.

This is completely different from words like justice, kindness, or even beauty which have fixed directions.

When it comes to justice, everyone has different justice deep within. Kindness is the same, what some consider kindness may appear as naivety to others, and the kindness some adhere to may seem cold-hearted to many. Beauty is also like this; you can’t expect humans and cats and dogs to have the same aesthetic standards, at least humans definitely don’t judge their mating criteria based on whether their peers have shiny fur.

So if it’s such a specifically directed concept, various issues are bound to arise from differences.

But ”Moe” is different.

It’s the opposite; it doesn’t represent any specific concept but rather represents the burst of undefined emotions when touched deep within.

Love and appreciation for beautiful things!

Wait, so why can’t emotions like being moved or enamored count? Aren’t they also emotions bursting from deep within?

Of course, it doesn’t matter to most people, but to those who laugh at the sight of human innards, or who stare at corpses with glee, your standards of being moved and enamored are completely different...

More importantly, the word ”Moe” can only be understood by those who understand it; those who don’t just don’t get it, which in a way separates those who might distort the concept widely.

In reality, the current Flandre is obviously not the real Flandre. Rather, it’s Fang Zheng’s creation based on the concept in his mind, primarily centered around ”Moe.” His idea is, if nothing else, at least to first fix this Chaos little girl’s ”Moe” concept, and then as for how it manifests, cooperate with the public for some reverse brainwashing, gradually clarifying the inner nature of this ”Flandre” so it ”transforms” into an order life form.

”I understand your point.”

After listening to Fang Zheng’s explanation, the Goddess of Order understood Fang Zheng’s intent; however, she still couldn’t comprehend what ”Moe” meant. Unsurprisingly, to the Order Clan, which demands precise definitions for any concept, ”Moe,” a word that can’t be explained in detail, is truly incomprehensible.

The reason Fang Zheng chose Flandre instead of Remilia is because Flandre belongs to the Confusion Faction, and characters with concepts from the Confusion Faction fit Chaos itself better, making fusion easier. As for Remilia, her concept is too clear, making it difficult to coexist with Chaos.

Simply put, characterization fanatics struggle to resonate with Chaos; instead, those whose identities even the creators and readers can’t clearly define find it easier to blend in with Chaos.

But that’s not really a problem, after all, there are plenty of Moe characters in the Confusion Faction, just create them one by one later.

How does that song go?

Five words float in the sky: It’s no big deal!

However, through this experiment, Fang Zheng still discovered a fatal flaw, which is...

”I feel my Divine Position and Divine Power don’t seem to work well in this aspect.”

Looking at the girl in his arms, Fang Zheng frowned and turned to say to the Goddess of Order.

His current Divine Position is Magical Girl, Magic, and Games, but these hardly play a role in this process. Forget Magic and Games, both are inherently rule-oriented and absolutely incompatible with Chaos. In fact, when Fang Zheng tried to mobilize his Divine Power earlier, he was surprised to find that he couldn’t draw even a bit of Divine Power from the God of Games—because the Divine Power of the God of Games is pure embodiment of order, there’s absolutely no chance of it complementing Chaos.

So, helplessly, Fang Zheng turned to utilizing his identity as the God of Magical Girls to create Flandre—that’s also another reason he chose to create Flandre, because in the setting, Flandre has the identity of a Magical Girl, thus as the God of Magical Girls, Fang Zheng can channel Divine Power through this concept.

But once or twice doesn’t mean thrice or four times; Chaos Faction Magical Girls like Flandre are rare.

”This is indeed a problem, hmm... if you could take on a production Divine Position...”

”What do you mean, are you suggesting I become the Fertility Guanyin?”

Hearing this, Fang Zheng glared at the Goddess of Order in dissatisfaction, imagining the wife of Old Li next door, plagued by infertility, prayed to the Fertility Guanyin, and one night, Guanyin appeared, two months later Old Li’s wife was pregnant...

Seriously, a paternity test should be first on the agenda!

”I can’t say for sure, but I can give you an opportunity... want to try it?”

”Isn’t it another thousand years?”

At this moment, Fang Zheng looked at the Goddess of Order with a few wary glances; let’s talk properly, I can’t handle another thousand years, I’m tired of being Emperor, what do you want me to do next?

”That’s not the case, it’s merely a small Divine Position task... it can tap into your inner potential. You see, I may be the Goddess of Order, but I’m also the God of Nature, the God of Love, the God of Flowing Water... none of these certifications were taken in vain!”

So for half the day, you’re a certification enthusiast? Love God? Your love view must be flawed!

Listening to the Goddess of Order, Fang Zheng understood as well, it seems Divine Positions for the Order Clan are like computers, violins, English-Japanese proficiency levels, and driver’s licenses; they belong to the category of things where more is better; take whatever tests you want, enrich your portfolio?

Though sounding a bit odd, upon careful thought it’s quite normal, after all, being the Goddess of Order, it’s perfectly reasonable to have a huge bunch of order-related Divine Positions.

But speaking of other topics, how did you qualify as the God of Love? Shouldn’t you have flunked?!!

”Alright then, give it to me and let me give it a try.”

Although Fang Zheng felt a bit uneasy, since the other party was patting their chest ensuring there was no problem, Fang Zheng nodded in agreement. Soon, he saw the Goddess of Order’s head shaking left and right for a moment. Suddenly, a small golden cube appeared in front of Fang Zheng. He reached out, grasped the cube, and crushed it with force. Almost immediately, the fragile cube transformed into a stream of golden energy that surged into Fang Zheng’s body, and the familiar system notification sound rang out once more.

[God Position Authentication Function Activated]

Darn, authentication? It’s like taking certification exams, huh?

Looking at the prompt in front of him, Fang Zheng’s eye twitched.

The psychological shadow of his computer proficiency exams still lingered, can’t we avoid this mess?

But since it’s already activated, then...

Forget it, I should take a rest for a while first, at least I need to arrange this ’Flandre’ properly.

After this, Fang Zheng returned to his territory and gathered his harem, explaining the situation in detail.

”So... this child is really Mr. Fang Zheng’s child...”

Asuna stared dumbfoundedly at the sweetly sleeping Flandre beside her, with a speechless expression.

”Considering I produced her myself...”

Fang Zheng was also quite speechless, however...

”Wait a minute, Master, this should be considered as a child you and we jointly produced.”

Nevertheless, there were two more who took delight in the chaos, and quickly following their voices, Restia and Ester appeared by Fang Zheng’s side.

”Yeah, yeah, we certainly put effort into it at the time, didn’t we?”

”Well... that’s not wrong”

Upon hearing this, Fang Zheng somewhat relaxed. Saying that he birthed a child alone always felt awkward, but with Ester and Restia’s comment... it felt much better.

However, the expressions of the other girls became much more complex.

”Never thought, it would actually let them take the lead...”

”Ugh... although we were somewhat prepared for this...”

”But according to Mr. Fang Zheng’s explanation, this child is a conglomerate of Chaos, not truly born, just manufactured by Mr. Fang Zheng using his power! Should be considered an artificial human? Like in those science fiction novels...”

”Alright, discuss this issue among yourselves privately later.”

Fang Zheng silently glossed over this topic.

”Now let’s consider how to handle this matter.”

”Hmm...”

Upon hearing this, the girls quickly refocused their thoughts, and before long, Little Hei offered a suggestion.

”How about letting her return to Heavenly Dao Palace, all kids should be able to play well together.”

”That’s not right, Little Hei.”

At this point, Black Cat spoke up.

”Didn’t Mr. Fang Zheng say? Right now, this child is composed of the concept of ’cuteness.’ We need to further enhance the concept of ’cuteness’ within her... oh right, I suggest going to a cosplay convention! Coincidentally, there’s a manga exhibition coming up; just taking her there should yield quite a bit of cute attribute!”

”I agree with this!”

Upon hearing this, Eiriri enthusiastically raised her hand.

”My Princess Lia doujin is almost ready for release, there’s quite the buzz online waiting for my comeback!”

Luckily, Lia couldn’t meddle in the Game World, or she’d be chasing Eiriri to death.

”Is it really okay to do this?”

On the contrary, Asuna looked worried, not just imagining things. The last time they took Zhao Ling’er and Lin Yueru to a convention, it escalated to the level of a GTA five-star wanted situation, leaving a significant psychological shadow. Those two were at least communicative and obedient, but according to Fang Zheng’s explanation, this little girl represented a dangerous ticking time bomb.

If something similar to before happens again, it’s not impossible for the entire venue to turn into a bloodbath.

”There’s no issue, I’ll go along. With me there, nothing will happen to her.”

Upon hearing this, Fang Zheng quickly gave a response.

Having been busy with proper work, it’s about time to take a break for a few days and relax.
