Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Time has lost all meaning for Fang Zheng.

Day rises, night falls, winds rise, clouds gather.

The Ci Hang Sect had long vanished from people’s memories, or perhaps few ever remembered such a sect existed.

Fang Zheng silently sat atop the dilapidated roof, observing everything around him.

Nothing remained here, only ruins.

Yet Fang Zheng still remembered how Fan Qinghui had once been desperate, screaming, struggling, collapsing, and ultimately resigning herself to corruption.

But for Fang Zheng, this wasn’t his main headache.

In this world, Fang Zheng’s most troublesome enemy wasn’t external threats, but internal capitalist forces.

Evidence showed that capitalists, regardless of era, country, or region, all shared the same nature.

After Fang Zheng gradually opened to private capital, society indeed experienced a boom, but soon capitalist forces began to expand, even as Fang Zheng predicted, starting to infiltrate political power. They used their money to bribe officials, and even ”invested” in sects to acquire some private armed forces.

They then attempted to control their own territories, emulating Luu Buwei, rallying the masses with deceptive rhetoric of destiny, freedom, and equality. Initially, Fang Zheng did not intervene, wanting to see if the system he designed could withstand the invasion of capital. But evidence showed this era’s political landscape was still too fragile for capital, with many leaders taken down by sugar-coated bullets.

During this time, capital flourished, but the shadow accompanying its growth grew darker. With the spread of materialism, people’s desires and longing for money increased. Some underground dark dealings began to flourish, including human trafficking and smuggling, as well as underground Red Mansion entertainment venues.

Yet Fang Zheng was no pushover.

After repeated warnings failed, he decisively took forceful action.

It was a massacre.

As Emperor, Fang Zheng had the power to execute entire clans, so in just one month, those once arrogant merchants and capitalists, along with their families, were all publicly hanged, their blood stained the Yellow River red. Altogether, tens of thousands were executed. For the first time, Fang Zheng used naked violence to warn those capitalist forces — lower your profile, I’m watching you.

After this, the capitalist forces in Great Han were like broken-down mongrels, remaining crippled for a full one hundred and twenty years. But with Fang Zheng ushering in the age of exploration, capitalist forces again developed unprecedentedly, just as Marx said, capitalists would unhesitatingly sell the rope to hang themselves, these people still couldn’t remember their past defeats, and they conspired with the Southern Land of Buddha, attempting to bring in foreign enemies to destroy the Great Han.

Yet this suited Fang Zheng perfectly, after enticing the snake from its hole, he promptly moved troops southward, annexing the entirety of Southeast Asia into Great Han territory. Of course, after this round of warfare, Fang Zheng again executed entire clans, killing all capitalists who had conspired with the Land of Buddha along with their families, and nationalizing all their property.

After these two instances, merchants’ social status declined further, their influence waned. For in these successive operations, under Fang Zheng’s indication, a thorough campaign educated and transformed those major capitalists into Traitors of Han, traitors, and vile lackeys incarnate. Meanwhile, Fang Zheng once again secured the national economic Sea-stabilizing Needle firmly.

Of course, during this war, Fang Zheng also succeeded in annihilating those corrupted Western Buddha-like evil sects, thoroughly burning them to ashes, and dispatched people to dismantle all temples and Buddha statues, making that pantheon completely vanish.

These wars also brought severe turmoil to Great Han, but fortunately they successfully navigated the crises.

Of course, during this time, Fang Zheng wasn’t without assassination attempts. For instance, during the first ”Bloody October,” some capitalists secretly allied with Goguryeo, reporting that the current Great Han was wealthy and strong, likely to unify the world, and if the Emperor wasn’t killed, Goguryeo might be swallowed.

Ultimately, Goguryeo’s King was persuaded, sending Fugai Lin, one of the three Grandmasters, to assassinate Fang Zheng.

He met his demise, squashed by Fang Zheng.

Then Fang Zheng obliged them by dispatching troops to Goguryeo, directly eradicating it.

Even a placid person like me has limits, not made of clay.

Another confrontation between capital and political power ensued, this time Fang Zheng intended to transition towards a republic, opting to gradually exit the stage. As a result, the capitalists thought the great mountain above them had finally disappeared, promptly leaping forward to their demise, but this time the political system Fang Zheng left behind did live up to his expectations, after considerable cost it successfully repelled the capitalist invasion once again.

Truth be told, playing games with these capitalists, gave Fang Zheng a greater headache than battling Chaos.

Capital is akin to food; consuming it provides the strength to survive, but also excretes waste. If waste isn’t disposed of over time, the person dies.

Such is the case for nations too.

Moreover, Fang Zheng found what he’d been searching for.

The method to counter Chaotic Power.

Simply put, Fang Zheng realized this through ”practice” over a long period.

How does one deal with Chaotic Power?

It’s simple, treat it like a woman.

Chaos’s trait is its ever-changing, elusive, hard-to-control nature; which is quite similar to women, mainly judging the strength of Chaotic Power to determine its image.

If it’s just a small amount of Chaotic Power, in Fang Zheng’s eyes it resembles a harmless neighbor girl, a direct forceful assault couldn’t rectify it.

However, if it’s the Chaos Waves Fang Zheng previously encountered, it equates to an arrogant, capricious, cruel Princess in a kingdom, while Fang Zheng is merely a commoner before her. If a commoner rashly approaches a Princess for love, surely they’d be slapped to death.

Now Fang Zheng learned how to use Primordial Fire mixed with Power of Order and Chaotic Power to ”attack,” much like the interactions between men and women, you must first capture her attention, then gain favor, using various tactics during this process to gain the upper hand, ultimately making her surrender.

Dating is warfare, after all.

With this thought, Fang Zheng stood up, dusted off himself, then gazed at the tree in front of the courtyard, beneath that tree lay Fan Qinghui’s body. Fang Zheng used her as a subject, conducting a series of experiments, successfully dismantling her fighting spirit, making her willingly abandon everything, becoming his captive.

During this process, Fang Zheng comprehended the core technique to battle Chaotic Power.

Isn’t this realization method a bit problematic?

Who learns how to save the world through imprisonment and debasement?

Is this really not an Evil God setting?

This kind of setting truly isn’t flawed?

Fang Zheng internally wanted to retort, but thankfully, no one knew his thoughts here... hmm, nor his actions.

Next, what he needs to do is go back to validate whether the skills he has honed are truly useful.

After all, that’s what matters most.

And now......

The time is about right.

Watching the sun slowly set behind the mountains, Fang Zheng sighed. He has done a lot for this world; now he is quite certain that the Huaxia Civilization of this world can continue to operate as usual even without him. This leaves him somewhat reluctant, yet Fang Zheng also understands that he must leave one day.

Perhaps, when the Goddess of Order created those worlds, she had the same thought.

At this moment, Fang Zheng recalled the worlds created by the Goddess of Order back then, and the Main World as well, in these worlds, the Goddess of Order did not linger for long. Or rather, just like Fang Zheng, she chose to leave after creating those worlds, staying for at most one to two thousand years.

Maybe this is also the goddess’s thought, because ultimately, how a world, a civilization develops depends on themselves. The guidance of deities cannot accompany them forever.

Anyway, over this millennia, what I’ve gained is more than enough.

Fang Zheng looks at the distant city. During this millennia, he has experienced a lot, watched mortals worship him, until now almost nobody knows of his existence — but of course, that’s impossible, after all, the history books won’t forget a person like him, but besides that, there seems to be not much record.

Perhaps in the future, my presence in this world will only appear as exam questions in history classes, since Fang Zheng can’t write any poems, songs, or anecdotes that would be passed down through generations, nor have any fairy tales or fables for students to repeatedly memorize paragraph selections.

Relatively speaking, the Goddess of Order might be even worse off, as many worlds in those coordinate point worlds Fang Zheng passed have completely forgotten about this goddess.

At least I made it into textbooks.

Fang Zheng thinks it’s exceptionally wise to write the clause of adding an extra ten points for questions about himself into the constitution.

Just as Fang Zheng quietly praised his own cleverness and wit, the sun also quietly disappeared, and darkness engulfed the entire land.

At the same time, Fang Zheng completely vanished from this world.

”Hoo......”

When Fang Zheng opened his eyes again, he was already back in his bedroom. Strangely, after a thousand years of time washing in that world, Fang Zheng felt no unfamiliarity towards this room at all. On the contrary, he feels like he’s just gone on a business trip for a week and has returned home, completely at ease.

Is this the Time Dragon’s instinctive immunity to time? Or a trait from the Order Clan?

Either way, at least those girls won’t feel like they’re seeing a millennia-crossing old man when they look at me, right?

Thinking of this, Fang Zheng stretched his body in reality, then reached out to open the door and walked out. Just at this moment, he saw a shadow move in front of him, then Kurumi gracefully stepped out with her skirt.

”You’re finally back, Mr. Fang Zheng.”

”Kurumi? What’s wrong?”

”Haven’t you checked the messages? There’s a problem at the Third Coordinate Point.”

”What?!”

Upon hearing this, Fang Zheng was immediately shocked, and the relaxation he had felt just moments ago disappeared in an instant.

”What happened? Report immediately!”

”Of course.”

After listening to Kurumi’s report, Fang Zheng discovered that the problem wasn’t actually at the Third Coordinate Point itself, but rather the world within it—in particular, the Kingdom of Lugnica.

And the reason lies in the royal selection.

Originally, when Fang Zheng was there, the five candidates would await the Guardian Dragon God to choose the next King. But now the situation has changed, and the root cause traces back to Fang Zheng.

Back then to allow Amelia and Felt to participate in the royal selection, Fang Zheng gave them quite a few political lessons and some collections and manifestos to study.

After learning, Felt seemed to be stimulated somehow and swore to become the King of Lugnica, but she didn’t plan to rely on the royal selection method. Instead, Felt directly—rebelled!

Yes, somehow, she established a revolutionary base within the Kingdom of Lugnica, directly raised the flag against the nobility, vowed to eliminate the nobility, abolish the monarchy, and implement a republic!

And of course, the nobility of the Kingdom of Lugnica did not want this, so the two sides immediately began a battle......

”Hmm? Wait a minute? Battle? Didn’t Felt win? Doesn’t she have Reinhard with her?”

Fang Zheng clearly remembers Reinhard is one of the strongest in Lugnica, even the entire world, and he should have long vowed to serve Felt. If Reinhard is with her, then Felt can’t possibly be deadlocked with the Noble Army, right?

”According to the reports......at the beginning, Reinhard indeed defeated the Noble Allied Forces, in fact many noble soldiers chose to surrender outright when they learned their enemy was Reinhard.”

”But?”

No need for Kurumi to say, Fang Zheng knew there was bound to be a ”but” following.

”But afterwards, the nobles colluded with the Northern Empire, asking them to send an army into the Kingdom of Lugnica to quell the rebellion, and the general leading this army is quite formidable. It’s precisely because of her presence that Reinhard was restrained.”

”Oh? Who is that person?”

At this point, Fang Zheng was a bit curious, knowing Reinhard is considered the ”Chosen One” of that world, someone who can confront him head-on, surely not an ordinary person.

”Hmm......according to the intelligence records, leading this army is the youngest general of the Northern Empire......”

Kurumi flipped through the records, then smiled slightly.

”Imperial General Esdeath.”
