Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

”Lies!”

Staring at the scene before her in shock, Main couldn’t even utter a word. The truth was, Fang Zheng’s actions weren’t particularly extraordinary, even simple enough that Main felt she could do it herself. But because of this, she felt like she was dreaming. If Main didn’t understand Akame’s character, she might have thought Akame was playing a trick and putting on a show with Fang Zheng!

” If you ask me, your qualities are great, but it’s a pity that they were ruined by the Teigu.”

Fang Zheng examined Akame closely and then shook his head helplessly. He had spent thousands of years in the World of Seeking Qin and encountered countless martial learning geniuses. In Fang Zheng’s view, if Akame were to go to that world, she’d be considered a remarkable talent. But regrettably...

”Wait a minute, what do you mean ruined by the Teigu? It’s the most powerful Teigu!”

”Precisely, this Teigu is utterly squandered on her... Oh, I’m referring to the human aspect.”

Fang Zheng spread his hands helplessly.

”If she had followed a structured approach in training and fighting, she could have become a super warrior. But now, she’s merely a third-rate assassin. It’s a pity.”

”Ugh... I don’t understand your point. Akame is the strongest in our Night Raid, and her mission completion rate is very high...”

”The number of people killed has no relation to actual strength. I can easily kill a thousand or even more defenseless civilians, but that doesn’t mean I can level up to become stronger. Akame’s ability to kill so many people is purely due to the power of that sword, isn’t it? As long as she hits the body, it results in death. Naturally, it’s fine if the opponent is weaker than her, but if facing a rival of equal strength, the balance is drastically weakened by the Demon Blade. Battling against someone more powerful with this kind of feeling and strength would be a dead end.”

”This... ”

Main, after all, was born a civilian and didn’t understand swordsmanship, so facing Fang Zheng’s lecture, she was left speechless. On the other hand, Akame kept silent, quietly staring at Fang Zheng.

”If you want to become stronger, don’t rely on that Teigu; it’s harmful to your growth. But naturally, you’re not my subordinates; it’s your decision whether to take the advice.”

”......”

Akame didn’t reply; she just stood there holding Murasame, lowering her head silently.

”Akame? Are you alright?”

Seeing her companion’s reaction, Main walked over nervously and asked softly, but Akame just shook her head, not saying a word.

”Let her think it over by herself; after all, this isn’t a decision that can be made quickly and easily.”

Fang Zheng could tell Akame seemed to have a special affection for that sword. But as he remarked, Akame wasn’t his disciple or subordinate; she could take the suggestion or leave it. Fang Zheng wasn’t obligated to train her into something, was he?

”Alright, come with me.”

”Huh? Me too?!”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s words, Main was startled. She could clearly see that Akame, although silent, was significantly affected. She was quite worried about Akame, but now... Hold on, is it my turn next?

I’m still young; I’m just a kid!

”Of course. Since you are temporarily moving with us, you need to adapt to our way of action. Follow me.”

”Ugh... alright.”

Although feeling uneasy, Main toughened up and followed Fang Zheng out of the training ground. Then the two wandered left and right in the sewer, eventually arriving at a mountain outside the Imperial City.

”Today’s one of our targets is that.”

”......which one?”

Looking in the direction Fang Zheng pointed, Main felt bewildered. She squinted her eyes toward where Fang Zheng pointed, but besides some blurry houses in the distance, she saw nothing.

”Oh, aren’t you responsible for sniping? How come... Forget it, leave it to me.”

Fang Zheng took the Romantic Turret from Main’s hands. Then, after several soft ”click-clack” sounds, the Romantic Turret in Main’s eyes turned into an unusual gun. Its barrel was considerably long, even two-thirds of her height, with a pair of stands at the bottom rear.

”Alright then, take a closer look.”

”......?”

Main grabbed the altered Romantic Turret and squinted through the scope, then gasped in astonishment.

”Wait, what’s this...”

”Nobility district. You can see, right? The target is wearing a purple robe in the second window’s study room of the red house. He’s Baron Amelando, a petty, perverse man who deceives ignorant girls into becoming slaves under the pretext of arranging jobs in the Imperial City... Well, I was planning on dealing with it usually, but with you here, let’s unleash a grander scale assault.”

”Assault?”

”How about we blow that place up directly? After all, no one inside is innocent.”

”W-wait a minute!”

Upon hearing this, Main screamed aloud.

”Let’s not talk about that place for now, but from here to there is really far. I can’t do it!”

”Can’t do it? According to your description, isn’t the Romantic Turret’s power limitless? It’s just a 2000-meter distance from here to there, and this gun’s effective range is 3000 meters. Why can’t it be done?”

”It’s not about that... Indeed, the power of the Romantic Turret is limitless, but it requires me, the holder, to feel a sense of crisis. If I can’t truly feel a crisis, then the power won’t increase!”

Main quickly argued back. After all, this was her biggest weakness, because a sense of crisis is not something you can just say you have; it needs to be tangibly felt. And as a sniper, hiding in the shadows, it’s impossible for Main to have a strong sense of crisis before the battle starts.

Because of this, her sniping distance usually doesn’t exceed eight hundred meters.

”So it’s a lack of crisis sense? Hmm... there isn’t no way around that.”

Thinking about this, Fang Zheng pondered for a moment.

”Anyway, you aim at the target first. As for the sense of crisis, leave that to me.”

”........?”

Faced with Fang Zheng’s words, Main was a bit puzzled, but she still followed Fang Zheng’s suggestion, lying on the ground, setting up the sniper rifle, and aiming at the target.

”So what to do next?”

Staring at the unisex-dressed figure in the sight, Main asked, but the next moment, she felt a hot body pressing against her.

”Wa-wait a minute, what are you doing?!”

Sensing this sudden touch, Main instantly tensed up. She wanted to turn around, but was grabbed by Fang Zheng.

”Aren’t you lacking a sense of crisis? Then I’ll create some crisis for you... Hmm, okay, if you can’t successfully eliminate the target, then I’ll violate you right here.”

”Wa-wait, are you serious?!”

At that moment, Main’s face turned pale.

”Of course, do you think I’m only bluffing? You’re a cute and pretty girl, after all; it’s normal for a man to have this idea. Now, hurry up and get ready... it seems your sense of crisis is still not strong enough?”

”Eek—————!!”

In the next instant, Main suddenly felt her skirt being lifted, and then, a hand reached in, slowly caressing up her smooth, slender, black-silk-covered leg.

”Are you really this kind of person?! This is too much, I originally thought...”

”Such a level has no effect on me, anyway, it doesn’t matter; either you eliminate the target, or I enjoy a good meal, it’s a win-win situation.”

Win-win, your head! It’s obviously me who’s unlucky!

”If you do such a thing to me, I’ll tell the boss!”

”Do as you please, at that time I’ll say I really like this girl. If you’re willing to give her to me, then we can cooperate with the Revolutionary Army... wouldn’t that be good?”

”You’re despicable, shameless, and vile!”

”Hehe.”

Facing Main’s curses, Fang Zheng merely chuckled. And Main, at this point, hurriedly focused her spirit, not knowing whether Fang Zheng was serious or bluffing, yet Fang Zheng’s actions hadn’t halted. Not only did he press against her, but he also rubbed against her neck, while Main felt Fang Zheng’s other hand sliding across her waist, starting to undo her clothes...

This unfamiliar feeling left Main both terrified and restless, her heart began to race, and the breath heard by her ear made Main’s mind go blank. The more she focused on aiming the sniper, the more she could feel the actions of the man behind her; his fingers seemed to possess a kind of magical power, sliding across her skin, bringing a kind of horrific feeling Main could not understand.

For a girl, this is a huge crisis!!

”Stop it...!!”

”—————Boom!!”

Accompanied by a scream, Main forcefully pulled the trigger; the next moment, a blinding, sun-like radiance burst forth, hitting the figure at the window 2000 meters away. Under this scorching power’s bombardment, that man didn’t even let out a scream before turning into ashes, and then the house soared skyward with an explosion, completely shattered.

A thick pitch-black mushroom cloud rose from the ground, slowly ascending.

”Well done.”

Fang Zheng released his grip, stood up, dusted off his clothes, and looked at the distant mushroom cloud with satisfaction.

”In terms of power, it’s comparable to half of the Positron Cannon; it seems there’s still room for improvement.”

Witnessing this, even Main was stunned.

She realized for the first time that her Teigu actually possessed such power?!
