Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

To Fang Zheng, the matter of interfering with the Third Coordinate Point has come to an end. He introduced Main, Hill, Akame, and Heitong to Lugnica to assist Felt — of course, this part didn’t require Fang Zheng to personally appear. As for the Empire, after Esdeath returned, she ascended the throne as expected by Fang Zheng, although many nobles and ministers opposed Esdeath’s actions. But Esdeath displayed her ironblood and ruthless side in this respect...

Well, from a certain perspective, she is indeed suitable to be the Emperor.

The Revolutionary Army was finished, and Esdeath certainly wouldn’t let those who signed treaties ceding territory with foreign enemies off the hook. After ascending the throne, the first thing she did was uproot the Revolutionary Army and completely eliminate them. At this time, the assassin organization also quietly went into dormancy; at least in the short term, they wouldn’t appear.

And at this time, Fang Zheng also withdrew his Divine Sense and began to focus on resolving more important issues.

That is resisting Chaos.

Luckily, this time he’s not fighting alone.

At least it’s considered... one and a half people.

”I heard you have an idea to combat Chaos?”

The Goddess of Order’s head bobbed around in the pure white space, looking just like a horror movie, but Fang Zheng wasn’t surprised at all. He also knew this Goddess appeared lonely on the surface but actually had a lot of fun. Although the Goddess of Order couldn’t leave this sanctuary, she, like Cthulhu, could influence distant worlds through Spirit.

In fact, the Goddess of Order is currently focused on ”guiding” (as she puts it) a Hero from an alien race in the Galactic Empire to fall in love with a human, planning to observe how their forbidden love against gender and race will develop...

Hmm, let’s not bring up this topic again.

As long as she’s happy, it’s fine.

”That’s right, I now have an idea; however, I have another thought before that.”

”What thought?”

The Goddess of Order’s head bobbed around Fang Zheng, sipping tea.

”According to what you said, the Order Clan initially observed the universe, then used their Order Seal to stabilize the observed order and integrated it, right.”

”Hmm... That’s indeed the case. Is there a problem?”

”Actually, a question just occurred to me... Are you sure the loss of control over Chaos is the result of compressing order to its extreme?”

”What do you mean by that?”

Hearing this, the Goddess of Order paused and silently stared at Fang Zheng.

”I’m thinking, you see, the Order Clan measures order through their observation, so within your clan, Chaos itself is chaotic, unknowable, uncontrollable—it is also a recognized fact. Isn’t it possible this isn’t the result of you having already ordered Chaos? You fixed some ambiguous element into an entity named ’Chaos’, giving it the attributes of ’unknowable, chaotic’. Isn’t that the case?”

”Hmm... This...”

”It’s like a tangram.”

Fang Zheng extended his hand and soon a tangram appeared in the air.

”It has different colors; maybe you like some colors and dislike other colors, but at the end of the day, whether you like it or not, it’s still part of the colors, right? Conversely, although you consider Chaos not part of order, standing against order, strictly speaking, it should also be considered part of order... Though you may not like it, once given attributes, can’t it be considered as being ordered?”

This was another question Fang Zheng idly thought of during his millennium-long trial: What is the concept of order to the Order Clan?

Is it only those clearly defined with values and measurable considered order, or once given attributes, does it all constitute order?

It’s like insects, mammals, and fish; you definitely can’t compare them together. But if you take the broader ”biological” classification, they completely belong to the same category.

Similarly, the Sun, Earth, and Moon are also different, but they belong in the ”celestial body” category within the universe.

So once Chaos is given the attributes of ”chaotic, unknowable”, isn’t it consequently part of the larger composition of the world’s order?

”This...”

Upon hearing this, the Goddess of Order was momentarily stunned.

”Indeed, this question has been discussed within our clan... Uh, but it’s not my specialty, so I don’t know much about this...”

”By the way, Goddess of Order, what’s your specialty?”

”Biological research and civilization creation specialist, I’m a top student!”

Speaking of this, the Goddess of Order proudly raised her head — okay, she doesn’t have a chest to throw out.

”......”

No wonder so many coordinate points feel like biological labs; it turns out it was indeed a science student...

”By the way, if Chaos is deemed as order, what impact will it have on the Order Clan?”

”I don’t know, but in my view, this should be a good thing, right? If confirmed that Chaos is part of a higher level order, then it means the Order Clan’s control and understanding of order has progressed further... Of course, that’s just my opinion; I don’t know what the higher-ups think.”

The Goddess of Order pursed her lips as she spoke.

Indeed, although Fang Zheng knew that the person in front of him was the Goddess of Order, he almost forgot that in the Order Clan, her status wasn’t high. If the Order Clan were compared to a country, then the Goddess of Order’s position in this country would be equivalent to an Advanced Researcher in the Chinese Academy of Sciences, not even considered an academician...

”Alright, let’s solve the problem at hand first.”

Fang Zheng certainly didn’t expect an Advanced Researcher to know governmental secrets, and this wasn’t an urgent issue either.

”I’ve thought of a way to counter the Chaos Tide, which requires an experiment. Do you have any good methods?”

”That’s not a problem... but how do you plan to do it?”

Facing the Goddess of Order’s question, Fang Zheng chuckled.

”You’ll see.”

”Alright then, I’m curious to see what you’ve come up with.”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s answer, the Goddess of Order snorted lightly. Following a flash of radiance, a Teleportation Gate appeared in front of Fang Zheng the next moment.

”This leads to the Yotsuba Galaxy.”

”Yotsuba?”

”That’s right. This Milky Way is considered a fringe area, there’s nothing good here. I initially chose this place for the experiment just in case.”

It makes sense; most dangerous biological labs are located in desert wastelands, not in transportation hubs or densely populated areas.

”If we compare us with the other side to an hourglass, then the Yotsuba Galaxy is the gap in the middle of the hourglass. If we can block this gap, then we can alleviate and withstand the outbreak of Chaos Waves.”

”I see.”

Looking at the pitch-black, seemingly polluted, oil-like turbid galaxy inside the Light Gate, Fang Zheng nodded.

”By the way, is there still civilization in this galaxy?”

”I don’t know about that since starting from this point, it’s beyond my jurisdiction. The Yotsuba Galaxy is the high-speed transport entrance of the Order Clan. It’s directly under the control of the highest council of the Order Clan. However, there hasn’t been any response for so long, so the situation there is probably similar to here. If you want to fully activate your Order Seal and gain authority, then start by purifying the Yotsuba Galaxy...”

I see, so starting from here is considered the ”inner city highway” of the Order Clan, whereas the ”Alfalfa Galaxy” and ”Milky Way” I was in before are considered rural outskirts?

Although I knew the Order Clan was rather impressive, seeing it now confirms just how impressive they are.

”You can throw this into it.”

Along with the Goddess of Order’s words, a small Light Orb appeared out of thin air.

”It’s made of pure Power of Order. Throw it into the Yotsuba Galaxy, and it will stimulate the chaotic reaction to produce a wave of Chaos Waves, which can be used for the trial against Chaos Waves.”

”..........”

Fang Zheng took the small Light Orb and examined it closely.

”This isn’t something you just thought of, is it?”

”Of course not, otherwise, how do you think I set up the Life Force System in this Milky Way?”

That makes sense. Given the Goddess of Order’s personality, it’s unlikely she would use something untested, unlike the Macedonia defense line. Judging by her words, she’s clearly used the chaotic power of the Yotsuba Galaxy multiple times to simulate Chaos Wave outbreaks.

”Will there be any danger?”

”If your method to resist the Chaos Waves works, then there won’t be any danger.”

The Goddess of Order threw out another blunt truth.

Well, whether it works... we can only test it to find out. If it doesn’t work by any chance, then it’s probably over.

Fang Zheng shrugged, then turned around and stepped through the Light Gate. In the next moment, Fang Zheng found himself in the cold, pitch-black vastness of space.

”Hoo........”

Looking at the Light Orb in his hand, Fang Zheng breathed lightly, then clenched the sphere and tossed it directly at the indeterminate shape in front of him, which appeared like a dark stain on the universe.

The tiny Light Orb streaked through the cosmos like a shooting star, then silently disappeared into the turbid stain.

Then... moments later, the entire chaos cloud suddenly expanded! Exploded abruptly! Immediately, Fang Zheng felt a chaotic breath appear, like the gas released from a deflated balloon, rushing towards him!

The Chaos Waves have arrived!
