Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Time has stopped flowing.

Luke maintained his falling posture and then just stopped in mid-air. Everyone was at a loss, not knowing what had happened. At this moment, Fang Zheng rose and then disappeared into the air, reappearing beside Darth Vader.

”What do you plan to do with him?”

Fang Zheng looked at Darth Vader with a smile. In the original movie, because Palpatine foresaw that Luke would be the one to kill him, he sent Darth Vader to capture him. But now, due to Fang Zheng’s guidance, Palpatine is trying to comprehend the essence of the Force and is in seclusion on Coruscant, completely unconcerned about Luke. So this time, Darth Vader captured Luke entirely for himself.

”Mr. Fang Zheng.”

Seeing Fang Zheng suddenly appear before him, Darth Vader looked somewhat surprised. Fang Zheng reached out and patted his shoulder.

”You see, I told you that your method of persuasion simply won’t work. As a father, you totally don’t know how to persuade your son. Forget it, I’ll give you a hand, after all, I’m providing technical support for you.”

As he spoke, Fang Zheng raised his hand, and then everyone was amazed to see everything in front of them start to flow backward, like a rewind. The originally falling Luke returned to his original position, even his right hand severed by Darth Vader jumped back up and reattached to his wrist.

Then, time began to flow again.

Luke moved his body slightly, looking in surprise at his right hand. He opened his right hand, clenched it, and then opened it again. Then, Luke looked up in astonishment at Fang Zheng.

”You... is it you? Why did you do this?”

”Well now, my question isn’t really important, what’s important is the two of you... Hey, it’s normal for Darth Vader not to know how to raise a kid. After all, he wasn’t brought up by him. But Luke, I’m not here to persuade you to join the Empire, I’m here to help you understand your father’s past.”

”My father’s... past?”

”Exactly. Hmm... I think it’s important to increase mutual understanding between father and son. Darth Vader isn’t good at speaking, don’t take it to heart. So... what do you think?”

While speaking, Fang Zheng glanced at Darth Vader.

”I have a way to let you relive the past, of course, this involves invading privacy, so I’ll ask you first if you are willing to show your past experiences and thoughts to your son and daughter using this method?”

”......”

Darth Vader remained silent for a moment, then nodded.

”And what about you, Mr. Luke? And Miss Lia?”

Fang Zheng snapped his fingers, and Lia appeared next to Luke, glaring at Fang Zheng with a complicated expression, biting her lip.

”I refuse, no matter what kind of illusion you use to entrap me, I will not submit!”

”I... want to see.”

However, unlike Lia, Luke gave a different answer. Hearing this, Lia widened her eyes in shock, looking at Luke.

”Luke!”

”He is my father, I want to know my father’s past, isn’t that right?”

”Alright, stop arguing. Arguing doesn’t lead to any conclusion. Since you think it’s an illusion, just treat it like watching a movie.”

While speaking, Fang Zheng reached out and pressed his hand on Darth Vader’s chest.

”You’re pretty solid here. Are you ready?”

”.........”

Faced with Fang Zheng’s question, Darth Vader silently nodded slowly, and Fang Zheng snapped his fingers again.

”Alright then, let’s begin... the ’Star Wars: The Prequel’ journey!”

As Fang Zheng spoke, everyone was surprised to see the surrounding scenes suddenly begin to change, and in the next moment, they found themselves on a planet full of yellow dust and sand. In a seemingly dilapidated shop, a child was desperately wiping parts there.

”This is...?!”

Seeing the child who looked seven or eight parts like himself, Luke widened his eyes in surprise, and at this moment, Darth Vader’s voice sounded.

”That is me.”

”Father?”

”Yes, at that time, I was just a child. My mother and I were gifted to Votu by Jabba, so I was always working for Votu as a slave.”

Darth Vader’s voice was flat.

However, at this moment, Votu’s voice was heard, and the young Anakin hurriedly ran out, only to see a girl and an elderly man in a robe standing beside a winged alien. Seeing this, Darth Vader paused.

”That is your mother.”

”Moth... Mother?!”

At this moment, both Luke and Lia were stunned. They lost their parents as soon as they were born, not knowing who their father was or what their mother looked like, and now, they finally saw their mother.

”Is this our mother?”

”Yes, she is Padmé Amidala, ruler of Naboo. At that time, her country was invaded by the Trade Federation. Amidala was rescued by two Jedi Ambassadors. Later, their spaceship had a minor problem and crash-landed on Tatooine, and Amidala disguised herself as a maid to travel with them. This was my first meeting with your mother.”

Perhaps the memories evoked emotions, and Darth Vader’s tone became much calmer.

Next, they saw a lot, including Anakin winning the race to obtain parts for their ship, regaining his freedom, yet his mother remained there.

”Why?!”

Seeing this, Luke couldn’t help it.

”Why didn’t they take her with them? Wasn’t she father’s mother?”

”Because the training of a Jedi Knight is actually inhumane.”

At this time, Fang Zheng spoke up.

”The mental state required by Jedi Knights is peace, unbound by external things, and your family, your relatives belong to this part. Only by giving them up can you achieve peace of mind—hmm, in my opinion, this is all nonsense. It’s either a hole in the head or a nerve problem.”

”.........”

Listening to this, Luke’s expression was somewhat complicated, and Lia didn’t know what to say either. So they continued to watch, and soon they saw the meeting at the Galactic Council, where Queen Pamela Amidala accused the Trade Federation of invading Naboo, but many countries denied her accusations, thinking it was just political persecution or conspiracy.

”They have always yearned to overthrow the rule of the Republic and gain greater autonomy.”

Darth Vader’s tone became intense.

”From the Republic era, it has been this way. These aliens envy our human dominance within the Republic and have always wanted to challenge it. They believe they are victims of this system and thus desire more power to balance humanity under the banner of fairness and freedom.”

”... That seems to be the thought of the Rebel Army too.”

Luke quietly turned his head to glance at Lia, who was speechless and lowered her head without saying a word.

Next, they saw Anakin’s situation in the Jedi Elders. They feared him, ignored him, denied him, yet only the man who had brought Anakin back—Qui-Gon remained unwavering in his belief that Anakin would become an excellent Jedi Knight.

”This is completely different from the Jedi Knights I imagined.”

With a complex expression, Luke didn’t even know what to say as he watched this scene.

”How could they treat a child like this? And this child has even helped them...”

Talking about this, Luke also felt conflicted. He hadn’t undergone formal Jedi training, but witnessing this scene changed his original thoughts about the Jedi greatly. To be honest, Luke also agreed with Qui-Gon’s opinion; at least until now, he hadn’t seen anything dangerous about this child, which was the point of disagreement between Qui-Gon and the Elder Council. The Elder Council was unwilling to take risks, but Qui-Gon believed everyone’s future isn’t fixed.

However, Qui-Gon ultimately died.

Having lost a father-figure like Qui-Gon and being distant from his mother, Anakin grew up alone on Coruscant. He endured the distrust of the Elder Council to become a Jedi Knight. After that, Anakin encountered new problems; he fell in love with Queen Pamela, but Jedi Knights are not allowed to fall in love, let alone marry and have children. Moreover, Anakin dreamed of his mother dying in pain in his arms, which made him anxious, so he went to the planet where his mother was. But there, he learned his mother had been captured by Tusken people. Anakin went to rescue her, but ultimately, just like the scene in his dreams, his mother died in Anakin’s arms.

Feeling angry, Anakin destroyed the entire Tusken village and buried his mother.

And Anakin cried bitterly over what he had done, while Fang Zheng patted Darth Vader’s shoulder.

”I think you don’t need to blame yourself for this.”

”Is that, is that so, sir?”

Luke looked at Fang Zheng with doubt.

”But no matter how it seems, even if those Tusken people are indeed bad, he did this...”

”In our world, there is a creature called Goblin. They only have males, no females, so they always attack villages, abduct women to mate with them and give birth to offspring. You haven’t seen the end those bullied by Goblins come to, but for us, the only way to eradicate them is to destroy their entire lair, kill all Goblins, whether they are big or small, or just born.”

Fang Zheng spread his hands.

”Only a dead Goblin is a good Goblin. These Tusken people are the same. Their nature cannot be changed, and their existence is obviously bad for us, so total eradication is also a choice.”

After this, they learned an astonishing fact: the Clone Soldiers, which are the predecessors of the current Imperial Stormtroopers, were actually authorized and completed by the Jedi Elders!

Admittedly, this news caught Luke and Lia completely off guard. Especially when they watched the Clone army in Imperial Stormtrooper armor slowly march past, accepting the review from the Jedi Elders standing on the balcony nearby, everyone felt a complex mix of emotions inside, completely clueless about what to do.

Because in their view, the Imperial Stormtroopers symbolize the evil oppression of the Empire, and yet these soldiers actually originate from the Jedi Elders who are supposed to fight for justice...

Simply unimaginable!

If this is just the beginning, then later, the scene where the Jedi Elders intend to overthrow the Prime Minister and seize power in the Galactic Empire is even more disgusting.

”You see, frankly, there is no distinction between justice and evil between Jedi and Xis. Sure, the methods of Xis are unpopular, but at the core, it’s just a political game.”

Fang Zheng yawned and looked at Lia.

”The losers are unwilling to accept failure and wish to rise again, thus returning under the guise of being persecuted, yet they certainly selectively forget how arrogant they were when they were in power.”

Palpatine attempted to seize power, infringing on the political interests of the Jedi Council which led to the final confrontation between the two. Whether Palpatine is Xis or not is irrelevant; if it were someone else, even if they weren’t Xis, they would also be purged by the Jedi Elders, only the fight would be less troublesome.

Entangling the confrontation between Jedi and Xis makes it more supportive if they are opposed.

The consequence is that once the truth is exposed, the result would be unimaginable.

Just like now.

”This can’t be true...”

Until the final moment, watching the duel between Darth Vader and Obi-Wan, watching his mother’s difficult childbirth, until everything returned to normal, Luke seemed unable to believe realty, shaking his head desperately.

”I don’t believe it, it shouldn’t be like this. How could it be like this?! I have to find out clearly!”

While screaming, Luke turned and ran away, and Darth Vader tried to stop him but was blocked by Fang Zheng.

”Alright, Darth Vader, let him go. You too, Miss Lia.”

While speaking, Fang Zheng looked at Lia.

”You can leave too, we’ve said everything we need to say.”

”..........”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s response, Lia looked at him with a complex expression for a moment before chasing after Luke.

”Is this alright?”

After watching the two figures disappear, Darth Vader slowly asked, and Fang Zheng shrugged.

”Trust me, trust them, there’s no problem.”

Fang Zheng felt confident about this, even though the Jedi had always tried to pin Anakin’s fall into darkness on Xis, in reality, it couldn’t be blamed on Xis!

The major events that changed Anakin’s life were basically unrelated to Xis.

Did Xis arrange for the Tusken people to kill Anakin’s mother? No, but Anakin was anxious and wanted to see his mother, yet was refused by the Jedi Elders, who demanded that he prioritize missions.

Indeed, the Jedi Elders, not Xis.

Had it not been for Amidala’s understanding, Anakin might not have even seen his mother for the last time.

After that, Anakin fell in love with the Queen, but what does this have to do with Xis? Did Xis brainwash them to make one fall in love with the other? Guess who wouldn’t let them be together? The commandments of the Jedi Elders.

Has this anything to do with Xis?

Finally, Anakin dreamt of his lover dying in childbirth, yet the one feeding him toxic thoughts was the little green guy, Yoda.

Listen to him, what kind of nonsense is that he’s saying?

Does it have anything to do with Xis?

Also not.

What Xis did was merely fan the flames, but it was the Jedi themselves who truly pushed Anakin into darkness.

Yet what do the Jedi say?

Oh, Xis tempted you into darkness, and I’ve always known this child was dangerous...

Ignoring all the chaotic crap they themselves have done and pinning everything on Anakin and Xis while pretending to be pure.

It’s evident that Jedi are truly shameless.

Fang Zheng believes Luke will eventually understand, as for Lia...

”You can find a member of the Rebel Army and leak the news.”

Fang Zheng looked at Darth Vader and patted his shoulder.

”Tell them, Lia Organa Solo is the biological daughter of the Skywalker Anakin - Lord Vida. This fact is correct. Next, let’s see how they perform.”

With this, Fang Zheng smiled lightly.

”I believe they will ultimately come back.”
