Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

”The characteristic of the APTX4568 World lies in the attraction and entanglement of information, where the peculiarity causes slight changes in the human information content, thus leading to deviations... Based on the current investigation by the master who summoned all species, it can be concluded that the species in this world themselves possess rather peculiar information-attracting properties. Unlike other worlds, this requires careful observation.”

Nymph glanced at the content on the screen in front of her, then continued to tap the keyboard. After a moment, the little angel stretched lazily, then turned her head to look behind her. Not far behind, Fang Zheng was sound asleep on the bed, evidently sleeping quite soundly.

As an Omnipotent Angel, Nymph does not need to sleep. In fact, she doesn’t even feel tired. Typically at night, she would communicate with the Heavenly Dao Palace to confirm situations and plan upcoming developments, while also reporting the events encountered in this world.

However......

[Did Big Brother not find a woman this time?]

Seeing Little Hei’s inquiry on the screen, Nymph shook her head and quickly responded.

[No]

[Eh, has Big Brother turned over a new leaf?]

[MASTER is not a lecher, what do you mean by that?]

Illya jumped out with dissatisfaction, complaining.

[But there are quite a few women drawn to Brother. Aren’t the women in that world having a peculiar sense of aesthetics?]

Sora also took the opportunity to join in, prompting Nymph to immediately realize that they hadn’t even looked at her report.

[By the way, have you noticed that when Sister Nymph is taken out, Brother Fang Zheng hardly looks for women?]

At this time, Nobiru suddenly raised a question, and the others also typed out [!!?].

[Now that you mention it... it does seem that way...]

[Wait, during the Sea Mist World...]

[That doesn’t count, since mostly it was about upgrading the warships!]

[And after that?]

[Sister Nymph seems to rarely leave the Heavenly Dao Palace!]

[Is it really the difference in time spent together? How unfair! Typically childhood friends always lose, right?!]

[No... Miss Eiriri, according to Mr. Fang Zheng, Nymph is the first spirit he summoned, so she should belong to the ’heaven-sent’ type]

[Ah...! Heaven-sent is indeed the true calling!]

......?

Looking at the inexplicable chat content in the dialogue box, Nymph tilted her head in confusion.

What are they talking about?

Nymph certainly knew that the people chatting right now had a close relationship with Fang Zheng, and many of them also spent nights in Fang Zheng’s room — well, Nymph also knew what they were doing. The little angel herself was quite understanding of it; it was simply the activity humans engage in to procreate. As organic beings, wanting to leave offspring is a completely natural physiological need, something she, being an Artificial Angel, naturally lacks.

Well then, it’s enough for today.

Nymph turned off the terminal, then stood up and snuggled into Fang Zheng’s lap like a little cat, closing her eyes. Although Artificial Angels do not sleep, just feeling this warmth, Nymph experiences an amazing sense of relaxation. While at the Heavenly Dao Palace, with so many people around, it’s hard for Nymph to have enough time with him, but in this world, since others can’t come over.... it naturally becomes the little angel’s solo enjoyment time.

Let’s rest a bit.

Thinking this, Nymph closed her eyes.

Meanwhile, Fang Zheng was leisurely and comfortably dreaming.

For a Time Dragon, slumber serves as a kind of time rewind, akin to someone watching a dull video, half-asleep and half-awake, hearing the noise from the video and seeing the flickering video light while wandering in the Sea of Time this way, half-asleep and half-awake.

However, at this moment, Fang Zheng suddenly sensed some change occurring in the surrounding space, with strange outlines appearing before his eyes. Fang Zheng opened his eyes, gazing around, and then saw a peculiar Light Beam emerging from afar, striking his body. Immediately, Fang Zheng felt his soul seemingly being pulled and attracted, with something slowly approaching, as if trying to invade his body.

At this moment, Fang Zheng widened his eyes, staring at the shadow in front of him.

He saw its true form.

It had a complex and peculiar appearance, somewhat resembling an American cartoonified animal. Its body was conical, with crab-like claws on its sides, and its head resembled a yellow, round, plump orange. Three large eyes were arranged above, and atop its head were strange antenna-like protrusions resembling those on a robot; at this moment, this Creature was wriggling, snail-like, trying to enter Fang Zheng’s body.

It seemed to have arrived here by means of time, using some method to replace Fang Zheng’s soul and spirit layer disguise. If it were an ordinary person, it might have succeeded. But Fang Zheng is a Time Dragon – any time-layer fluctuations could never escape his eye.

Not to mention, he is a Deity!

How could an ordinary person’s soul shake a Deity’s soul?

You’re just courting death!

However, at this moment, it also seemed to notice Fang Zheng’s gaze.

The creature clearly showed an expression of panic and unease. It hurriedly fiddled with a device resembling an ancient camera aimed at Fang Zheng, seemingly trying to do something, but Fang Zheng slapped it directly to the ground. Accompanied by a creaking and shrill scream, the oddly-shaped creature flew backward, screaming as it crashed to the ground. At the same time, it desperately waved its claws, and its body began to emit a faint radiance.

Fang Zheng could feel time beginning to flow, and spirit starting to rewind. If nothing unexpected happened, it would soon return to the state before encountering Fang Zheng — however, all this stopped next to the Time Dragon.

”Who gave you the courage to dare invade my body?!”

The pitch-black giant dragon bared its teeth, angrily glaring at the creature in front of it. Fang Zheng looked at it, grinding his teeth. If it weren’t for the fact that he disliked eating these things, the creature would have already been swallowed whole by Fang Zheng.

Meanwhile, seemingly aware of the situation here, Fang Zheng soon noticed several similar creatures appearing around him. They shook their crab-like claws, each one holding a camera aimed at him. Then, blue and white light orbs shot from those ”cameras” and hit the body of the giant dragon — unsurprisingly causing no harm.

Hmm, one could even say that from a distance, these creatures seemed like a group of frenzied fans surrounding Fang Zheng with cameras, taking photos... It really was quite amusing.

”Scram, don’t let me see you again!”

Fang Zheng wasn’t interested in tangling with these creatures; he suddenly waved his claw. Soon, the waves of time roared and swirled under the manipulation of the Time Dragon, as if a calm pond had turned into a stormy sea, sweeping those creatures away to the end of time.

”.........”

When Fang Zheng opened his eyes again, it was already morning.

”Darn it, this damned world, I can’t even sleep peacefully...”

Fang Zheng stretched his body, muttering helplessly. The Cthulhu World was truly disgusting; even trying to sleep, he would encounter a group of alien creatures. And these bastards even attempted to take over his body. If Fang Zheng wasn’t too lazy to bother with them, he would have just followed the time stream and roasted them all.

Fang Zheng changed clothes and opened the door, only to see the dumb-looking Erha pouncing toward him, promptly slapped down by Fang Zheng.

”I told you to guard, is this how you guard? A group of creatures manipulating time comes to trouble me, and you didn’t even notice? Are you just here to be fed?”

Looking at the pitiful-looking Erha, Fang Zheng rolled his eyes in exasperation.

Some time hound you are, others slipped through the spacetime rift to my side, and you couldn’t even see it. What’s the point of keeping you!

Just to demolish the house?!

Forget it, I won’t get mad at you.

Fang Zheng quickly collected himself, began bathing, changing clothes, eating, and then — drew out a miracle solo!

However, perhaps due to the influence of that strange race last night, Fang Zheng drew out all the remaining four Soul Scrolls at once, and the result... all of it was Bronze!!

Not even a single Silver!!

”Damn...”

Fang Zheng’s face darkened as he looked at the pile of junk on his desk, recalling the miserable memories of painstakingly saving up for some gacha draws, only to end up without even a single four-star...

What on earth is all this on the desk?

The ”Book of the Undead”? Tch, what do I need this for?! To burn for firewood?!

And that tacky-looking cylinder, what’s it called... Brain Containment Cylinder? If I were to do something, I’d rather work on The Matrix of Hackers — that’d be more reliable!

Then there’s the ”Rifle with Unlimited Ammo” and ”Lantern that Illuminates Darkness”... Fang Zheng didn’t even have the energy to mock them.

Are they trying to toy with me?!

Sigh, I was hoping to get something good, but it seems my luck isn’t that great.

Could it be because of being in the Cthulhu World?

That’s not impossible either...

”Knock knock.”

At that moment, there was a knock on the door, followed by Ryoko Asakura’s voice from outside.

”Master, do you have time now?”

”What’s the matter?”

”Professor Allen Howard from Miskatonic University has come to visit you. He hopes to seek your assistance.”

”Oh?”

Hearing this, Fang Zheng calmed his emotions and then put all the junk on the desk into his inventory.

”One moment, I’ll be right there.”
