Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Hearing this voice, Fang Zheng raised his head and saw a young girl with long black hair, wearing a white dress, and having fair skin, standing on the staircase uneasily and watching him. Fang Zheng then scrutinized the girl up and down, and nodded.

”Not bad, come over and sit.”

If it were in my original world, my roommates would have called out ”wife” and jumped on her long ago.

But then again... would they really jump on her?

One has to know that the Saya form in front of us, much like Musesha’s Erha form, is essentially a shell bound by Nymph’s Information Modification, with no internal change. Essentially, while it appears as a beautiful girl on the outside, if you cut her body, you’d find a writhing mass of flesh beneath the skin.

Not to mention the story of ”Ye Gong Loves Dragons...”

As the Swarm Overlord, Fang Zheng has seen similar things countless times, but for others, it’s hard to say.

The girl hesitated as she walked over and sat on the sofa opposite Fang Zheng, while he stared at her.

”So... let’s start by chatting a bit. What’s your name?”

”I, I’m Saya, it’s the name my dad gave me.”

”Is that so? Then why did you come to the hospital?”

”I’m looking for my dad.”

Saying this, Saya seemed a bit depressed.

”Dad hasn’t returned for a long time. I don’t know where he is or what he’s doing, so I thought he might be at his workplace...”

”What’s your father’s name?”

”Yayahiko Oya.”

”Is that so...?”

Hearing this, Fang Zheng closed his eyes and contemplated for a moment, then looked at Saya again.

”Then, Saya, once you find your father, what do you intend to do?”

”I...”

Facing Fang Zheng’s question, Saya hesitated.

”I... want to return to the original place; dad must know where that place is...”

”Then, do you know what you are?”

”...”

This time, Saya shook her head in response to Fang Zheng’s question.

”I’m not really sure; dad never told me. But I know I’m different from those things outside. I’m not human, and my food is completely different from humans’...”

Oh, she’s quite honest, isn’t she?

Looking at Saya, who laid everything bare, Fang Zheng squinted his eyes, but upon reflection, it made sense. In the game, Saya developed an interest in Yuki because only Yuki could see her ”true form,” while others could only see Saya’s flesh. In such a situation, Saya would surely hide some of her circumstances, but now everything about her has been seen through by Fang Zheng. There’s obviously no point in hiding anything further.

”If you want to go back, I can help you.”

”Really?”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s reply, Saya looked at him in surprise, her eyes wide open.

”Why?”

”Because I need to find your mother.”

”My... mother?”

Upon hearing this unexpected answer, Saya tilted her head in confusion.

”But dad is alone, and he never told me I have a mother?”

”The mother I’m referring to is the one who gave birth to you.”

Fang Zheng reached out and pointed at Saya.

”The Goddess of Dark Abundance, the Supreme Goddess Mother, the Black Mountain Goat of the Forest, Sabrinicolas.”

”Sabri... Nicolas?”

Upon hearing this, Saya’s voice began to tremble.

”I—I’ve never heard this name, but somehow, it feels familiar... almost like I’m supposed to know it...”

”That’s right; she is your mother.”

With his arms crossed over his chest, Fang Zheng smiled and looked at Saya.

”You are a progeny of Sabrinicolas—a young Black Mountain Goat. The human you call ’father’ somehow opened a Teleportation Gate to the world of Sabrinicolas, thus drawing you into this world. That’s why you are here; do you understand now?”

”I... am...”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s words, Saya’s expression started to become increasingly twisted. Her body began trembling, and suddenly she clutched her head fiercely.

”I—I... ah...!!!”

”Master, what’s happening to her?”

Watching the distressed Saya, Nymph curiously asked, and Fang Zheng shook his head.

”Probably perceiving her instincts; reason versus instinct. Next, it’s up to her how she chooses.”

The progeny of Sabrinicolas always prioritize reproduction; their nature resembles some sort of terrifying locust, regardless of where they are—they just reproduce, reproduce, and reproduce, until they’ve covered and transformed the entire world.

However, Saya is different.

After being summoned to this world, she was taught by Professor Yayahiko Oya, and through knowledge, Saya underwent an Awakening of emotions.

Just like the difference between humans and animals, where animals prioritize survival by reproducing, while humans yearn for love, Saya, as a higher-dimensional being than humans, also experiences the awakening of emotions. For humans, the act of reproduction extends beyond simple survival, to include their emotions, spirit, and will.

Thus, animals have periods of estrus, but humans are not constrained by such limits.

Using the ”Black Mountain Goat’s offspring” as a standard, awakening self-awareness after birth, not following the instinct to reproduce and change the world, but searching everywhere for emotions, Saya is clearly a failed product. It’s like a Hydralisk suddenly appearing in the Swarm and spending all day singing, dancing, and playing basketball.

”Is there a problem?”

”Shouldn’t be, right... Have you settled your information constraint?”

”Yes, Master, I have completely isolated Saya’s information erosion and deviation, theoretically speaking, there shouldn’t be any problem.”

”That’s good to hear.”

Hearing Nymph’s response, Fang Zheng nodded. Little Angel’s information manipulation skills are unmatched, so if she says there’s no problem, then there’s definitely no problem. Next, all Fang Zheng needs to do is wait quietly.

After a good while, Saya seemed to finally calm down.

”I... I remembered.”

She murmured softly, gazing at the ground.

”I am... I am the offspring of the Black Mountain Goat, my mission is to seek new worlds, reproduce, occupy, expand... but...”

”But?”

”But... this isn’t right... is it?”

Saya lifted her head, cautiously looking at Fang Zheng.

”Isn’t it because there’s love that reproduction happens?”

”Hehe, what you say does make some sense.”

Faced with Saya’s answer, Fang Zheng chuckled. This shows that Saya has indeed been poisoned by human civilization. You know, during the time of primitive people, there was no such nonsense, no matchmaking, no love, not even a thought. If a male primitive person was interested in a female primitive person, he’d just knock her out and take her back to the nest.

Simple, convenient, and straightforward, as for love... who’s concerned about that?

There are many bizarre things similar to this in the animal kingdom.

For example, the most enviable has to be the bonobos; they greet each other with ”boom boom,” resolve disputes with ”boom boom,” and make peace after fights with ”boom boom.” In human society, this is comparable to the most obscene scenario straight from a manual.

Then there’s the case of the seals; their food source is penguins, but upon catching a penguin, they don’t immediately eat it. Instead, they’ll perform a brutal ”boom boom” until the penguins are neither living nor dead before eating them.

Compared to these oddities in nature, the Black Mountain Goat’s offspring’s method of reproduction is considered quite normal.

However, Saya was ”unlucky,” and happened to learn human knowledge, gaining excessive ”emotion.”

”I want to go back, I want to ask Mother what our true mission is...”

As she spoke, Saya looked at Fang Zheng, who then shrugged his shoulders.

Oh, now it seems, she’s learned something else.

That is curiosity.

”Certainly, there is no problem. I will help too, as I mentioned earlier, I also have matters to discuss with your mother.”

”Then, what do you plan to discuss with my mother?”

”That’s a personal privacy matter.”

Fang Zheng chuckled, while Saya pouted and revealed a hint of dissatisfaction. Her temperament was as simple and pure as an ordinary little girl, without any unnecessary thoughts. She’d naturally show her displeasure directly.

”When I meet your mother, you’ll find out.”

After a brief discussion, Fang Zheng made a decision.

”Then you should stay here temporarily, we will go find your father tomorrow morning.”

”Mm!!”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s response, Saya immediately smiled and nodded happily.

At this moment, she behaved almost indistinguishably from an ordinary little girl.

And so, the night passed.

The next morning, Fang Zheng drove, and with everyone’s guidance from Saya, they arrived at Professor Yayahiko Oya’s residence.

This professor, like Fang Zheng, lived in quite a remote location, with hardly any inhabitants around. But that’s a normal procedure, after all, he had to raise Saya, and if such a creature were discovered in a populated area, it would undeniably become news. Yayahiko Oya wasn’t a fool, he certainly wouldn’t be stupid enough to expose his research target.

However...

”Whoa...”

After opening the door and feeling the foul odor coming at him, Fang Zheng immediately grimaced.

”Don’t you guys bother with hygiene?”

”I thought about helping, but at that time... I couldn’t...”

Saya looked at her body in a complex manner, she knew her appearance was quite different from human, and although she learned a lot of knowledge from Dr. Yayahiko Oya, she herself wasn’t skilled in theoretical knowledge of information manipulation. Thus, Saya couldn’t quite understand how a little girl of a similar age could manage this.

Oh, right, based on her dependent instincts, Saya could also sense that the blue-haired little girl wasn’t even a biological entity, nor was the girl who captured her; Saya couldn’t even describe what kind of existence they were.

In summary, in Saya’s perception, if edible organisms were akin to fruits, then the blue-haired little girl felt like some sort of metal, while the girl who captured her felt more like plastic, as for the man before her... he felt like a flame, making Saya a bit afraid to approach.

But even more frightening...

”Roar———!”

”Eek!!”

Upon hearing the low growl from Erha behind her, Saya jumped to the side, hiding beside Fang Zheng. For some unknown reason, Saya was extremely scared of this Big Dog. You know, in her original form, Saya would eat those cats, dogs, and such, but this dog felt completely different from other animals. She could instinctively feel that it seemed to be some higher existence far stronger than herself...

Which is understandable, Musesha is the Lord of Tindalos, an enemy of Yog-Sothoth, and its status and power are no less than the Three Pillar Gods. While Saya, at best, is an Outer God Dependent, naturally will instinctively fear the Lord of Tindalos.

”This room is a mess.”

Fang Zheng stood at the door, waved away the odor and finally entered.

”Alright, let’s go have a look.”
