Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

As Fang Zheng returned to the Heavenly Dao Palace once again, the entire palace instantly bustled with activity.

After all, unlike before, this time it would be an expedition.

Although Fang Zheng hoped to take a good rest after settling the three coordinate points, he decided to set out early, gathering as much information ahead as possible.

It’s like being in a horde in the primitive forest; now that you’ve reinforced the fences, acquired weapons, and built a fire pit, able to fend off wild beasts and violent storms around, the next step is naturally to understand the surrounding terrain, ascertain the situation nearby, check for hidden dangers, or the conditions of the land and ecology to decide the next course of action.

For Fang Zheng, this is necessary.

If the horde finds a better, safer, prosperous place to gather, then naturally they would move everyone—though the Main World is indeed a good place, it is not Fang Zheng’s hometown. Moreover, the Heavenly Dao Palace needs its own power and land, rather than struggling for limited territory with the current states of the Main World, it’s better to find an opportunity to move.

On the other hand, Fang Zheng also needs to investigate those ”ruins” to find clues about the Order Clan, hoping to find a way to resolve the current crisis.

The Chaos Tide is not like earthquakes or tsunamis, unpredictable disasters, but a very clear threat.

Yet this time, the news of Fang Zheng’s departure exploded through the Heavenly Dao Palace.

The reason is simple; this is an expedition.

Though generally, for something like an expedition, the leader should stay back and send trusted people forward, Fang Zheng cannot. Because currently, only he has a complete Order Seal among the world, Fina counts as a half, both together count as one and a half. So if encountering Order Clan ruins or needing to decipher some content, Fang Zheng must act personally.

So in this situation, Fang Zheng must lead the team himself, which raises one issue.

That this expedition takes a lot of time, unlike before when Fang Zheng traveled to other worlds where each world’s time was not synchronized. Fang Zheng staying decades in other worlds, in Heavenly Dao Palace it would only be a few days or hours. However, in this world, Fang Zheng said the expedition could take at least two to three years, even longer. More importantly, due to the unknown external situation, the time can only extend, not shorten, and during later stages of the expedition, it’d be hard to have contact with Heavenly Dao Palace.

The girls of the Heavenly Dao Palace were all in an uproar; Fang Zheng, having spent so much time at the coordinate points before, made them barely endure. Now this expedition might last two to three years, four to five years, or even longer without word... who could bear it!

They couldn’t keep up with the previous third coordinate point, but they must follow this time!

So in the following days, Fang Zheng hardly had any downtime...

”Big brother, you wouldn’t keep us from going, right? We are your Heroic Spirits!”

Little Hei held on to Illya, staring hard at Fang Zheng, and seeing their eyes, Fang Zheng nodded.

”Of course, you are my Heroic Spirits, you must come with me.”

”Great, Illya, let’s prepare our luggage!”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s reply, Little Hei cheered before pulling Illya, excitedly running out of the room. Yet before the door closed, Asuna, Black Cat, and Eiriri walked in.

”Mr. Fang Zheng, we heard you’re going on an expedition? We want to follow as well!”

”This is not child’s play.”

Looking at the three girls, Fang Zheng shook his head.

”Are you sure? I must tell you, timing is not certain, two to three years, three to four, five to six years might not return, are you still willing?”

”Of course, isn’t the time between the two worlds out of sync? Even if we stay here for years, it would only be weeks over there. At most, we report we went for a joint training session.”

Eiriri thought simply, but it’s not as straightforward.

”You might lightly say so, what if you die?”

”......Eh?”

Upon hearing this, they paused, stunned.

”Indeed, as Eiriri said, time between the Heavenly Dao Palace and other worlds can be adjusted, but if you die, you shall never return. I must tell you, this expedition is extremely, extremely dangerous. No one knows the situation outside, maybe we’ll face enemies even I struggle against, in such cases, maybe you’d fall at a glance without a chance for last words. How would you explain to your family then?”

”This.......”

Facing Fang Zheng’s inquiry, the three showed uneasy expressions, glancing at each other, finally Asuna bowed her head.

”Sorry, Mr. Fang Zheng, let us consider it for a moment.”

”Yes, you should carefully think it over.”

Watching their backs, Fang Zheng smiled slightly. Then he saw the three girls leave, after which a figure sneakily came inside.

”Brother.”

”Are you planning to go too, Sora?”

Looking at Sora before him, Fang Zheng sighed, but Sora shook her head.

”No, I’m here to tell you, I’m not going.”

”Oh? Really?”

”Of course, I don’t fight, nor have special abilities. Why would I go to the front, but as compensation, brother before you leave, every night you must sleep with me.”

”.........”

So you’re here for this...

”Alright, no problem.”

Fang Zheng knew he had to compensate Sora, for there would be a long period they wouldn’t see each other.

”Hehe...”

Satisfied with Fang Zheng’s answer, Sora smiled, then turned to leave. But soon after, the door opened again, this time, entering was the blonde twin-tailed... Fate.

”Mr. Fang Zheng...”

”Fate?”

”Hmm...”

Fate held her hands tightly, placing them on her chest, and stared at Fang Zheng.

”I, I also want to go with you, Mr. Fang Zheng...”

”Is that okay? You should know, Illya, Little Hei, and Homura will be coming with me, but someone has to stay here. Little Sakura, Shisei, and Nanoha have all agreed to stay. Don’t you still have Precia and Elysia?”

”.......”

Upon hearing these two names, Fate’s expression changed slightly, and she lowered her head.

”It’s okay, I’ve talked to Sister Elysia...”

”..........”

The relationship with Precia still hasn’t completely healed.

Looking at the dejected Fate, Fang Zheng sighed.

”Alright, I promise you, go pack your things now.”

”Hmm!”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s response, Fate finally showed a happy smile, nodded vigorously, and turned to run out of the room.

”You really are popular.”

At this moment, another voice emerged, followed by Fang Zheng’s shadow swirling, as Tokisaki Kurumi stepped out from it.

This time Kurumi was definitely going along, because she had the ability to create infinite clones, fully capable of handling things. Moreover, the previous clone had caused so much trouble it almost made her real self explode with anger. She never imagined the biggest enemy wasn’t other members of the harem, but herself!

And now that little brat has occupied a world, seizing the chance to monopolize Fang Zheng!

This is outrageous!

Kurumi knew very well, her clones were secretly trying to see if they could replicate the situation again... She definitely wouldn’t give those little brats the chance again!

Everyone is ’me’, if you’re taking your own man, that’s just too much!

Normally, when you sneak off with my man while I’m not paying attention, I can tolerate it. I also know you all work together, purposely distracting me while stealing my man from behind. What have I said?

But now, ’we’ are actually starting to get out of line?!

If Fang Zheng hadn’t strictly forbidden going to the Third Coordinate Point world, Kurumi would have rushed over to strangle that Cheating Cat.

This time, she absolutely wouldn’t mess up, it’s a joke; Fang Zheng goes away for two, three, four, or five, six years, who wouldn’t want to go together?

”There’s no helping it, charming men inevitably have to bear more. If they were ugly, they wouldn’t have to worry about these issues.”

Fang Zheng joked, then glanced at Kurumi.

”How about you?”

”I’m all set, ’we’ will stay and safeguard the entire Heavenly Dao Palace.”

”Alright, that’s good... but...”

Saying this, Fang Zheng hesitated for a moment. To be honest, he really didn’t want to do this, but he had no choice...

”I’ll leave someone for you, she’s my proxy.”

”Mr. Fang Zheng’s proxy?”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s words, Kurumi slightly frowned.

”I’ve never heard of such a thing?”

”She’s directly under me, only a few people know about her existence.”

At this point, Fang Zheng was quite helpless; he was talking about none other than — Red Ponytail.

That’s right, Fang Zheng had always kept Red Ponytail under wraps, only the people from Magical Girl World, along with Illya and Little Hei knew, but because Fang Zheng kept strictly ordering it, they never spoke about it openly.

But unfortunately, now there’s no hiding.

Someone still has to oversee Heavenly Dao Palace. This time among the Three Giants, Nymph would follow Fang Zheng, while Tilia and Black Katie would stay, leaving a problem. You see, Nymph, who had been the earliest to follow Fang Zheng, had a decisive effect. But if Nymph were to leave with Fang Zheng, with Tilia and Black Katie’s personalities, there would undoubtedly be a fight.

”In short, she’s kind of like one of my clones, similar to your clones, but she’s also me. So I will issue orders through her... Anyway, please pass this on, I’ll let her show up and greet the others someday.”

At this point, Fang Zheng was in despair, but couldn’t do anything. If nobody knew Red Ponytail, what she said definitely wouldn’t have any effect, so it was necessary to establish this first. However, having Red Ponytail appear was no different from a public execution for Fang Zheng himself.

”Her?”

Taking a glance at Fang Zheng’s personal terminal with Red Ponytail, Kurumi squinted her eyes, looked thoughtfully at Fang Zheng.

”Mr. Fang Zheng, you wouldn’t be...”

”I have no such interest, let me set the record straight, this was an accident.”

Looking at Kurumi’s ambiguous smile, Fang Zheng was completely frustrated.
