Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

In the affiliated hospital of T University, there is a kaidan that many hospitalized patients talk about. They say that sometimes when they wake up at night, they see a terrifying creature standing at the foot of their bed, watching them. No one knows what that creature is, and they can’t even describe the horror of it with words, only knowing that it is definitely not something that should exist in this world.

But no one knows what it is, it’s simply preserved as part of the hospital’s kaidan.

However, in the nighttime hospital, only darkness and deathly silence remain.

”Clack, clack.”

The flashlight’s beam flashes through the dim corridor as a nurse in white carefully checks each room, and then turns to leave. As the nurse turns to leave, a shadow silently emerges from the corner, cautiously peeking around, and then quietly climbs up to the ceiling, trying to open the sealed air vent.

But the instant the shadow touches the air vent, a series of flashes abruptly appear, and the shadow immediately backs away—unfortunately, it’s too late, as in that moment, the entire corridor seems to lose its color, becoming a completely enclosed space. The shadow realizes something is wrong and turns to go back, but when it turns its head, it is shocked to find that the passage behind it has turned into a wall.

”Just as the master said, truly there’s a little old mouse scurrying around the hospital.”

Ryoko Asakura’s voice emerges from behind the shadow, and under the dim emergency exit’s green light, the nurse-dressed Ryoko Asakura steps forward, grinning as she sways the military knife in her hand, squinting, sizing up the shadow before her. At this moment, the shadow is trembling and curled up in a bundle, hiding in the corner.

Although it doesn’t know Ryoko Asakura’s identity, it’s clear that the girl before it is definitely not someone to be messed with.

”Master, how do you think we should deal with it? Shall we barbeque it?”

Ryoko Asakura glanced at the shadow, then turned to look behind her, where she saw Fang Zheng slowly emerging from behind her. He squinted his eyes, gazing at the shadow before him, then snapped his fingers. Soon, a glow of fire appeared from Fang Zheng’s fingertips, illuminating the shadow, revealing its true form.

It was a writhing mass of flesh.

It was wrapped in a transparent membrane, and inside it looked like a writhing, pork-like substance. Through the membrane, one could clearly see the white fat and muscle textures inside. A round mouth with sharp teeth protruded from within, while below it, like a snail’s soft flesh, the edges slowly stretched out, transforming into tendrils extending in all directions.

No matter how you look at it, this is a terrifying creature.

However, Fang Zheng also saw its other form.

It was a girl dressed in a white dress, with black long hair and fair skin, who at this moment was trembling and curled up in the corner, uneasily watching Fang Zheng and Ryoko Asakura before her.

”Hmm......

Looking at the scene before him, Fang Zheng also furrowed his brow, beginning to ponder.

He certainly knew who the girl — or rather, the mass of flesh — before him was, the renowned Saya, considered a refreshing breeze in Japanese Cthulhu mythos. In his college days, roommates would often claim ”Saya is my wife,” so Fang Zheng naturally was aware of her existence.

She is one of the Three Pillar Gods, the Supreme Goddess, offspring of Sabrinicolas, whom Professor Yayahiko Oya used the Silver Key to open the dimensional door to summon into this world.

In fact, Nicholas realized some idiot was recklessly attempting this, so he simply and decisively sent one of his Enchanted Clans over.

Sabrinicolas possesses an unparalleled reproductive power, and in fact, it is rumored that all the Elder Ones, including Cthulhu, are her offspring. Her offspring also inherit this ability, and logically, Saya should be like her mother, with a frenzied desire to reproduce, altering this world, transforming it into hers.

However, Saya underwent a transformation due to acquiring human knowledge, gaining human knowledge while also acquiring human weaknesses, transitioning from a mere tool into a soul with self-awareness.

Afterwards, to prevent Saya from being discovered, Professor Yayahiko Oya chose to commit suicide, hoping Saya could transform the entire new world. Yet for Saya, the situation wasn’t like that.

Currently, Saya is unaware that the person she calls ”Dad” has already died, which is why she ventured to the place where Professor Yayahiko Oya had worked before, searching for his traces. Here, Saya encountered someone, beginning a brand new life.

If Saya were a creature acting solely on her instincts, Fang Zheng would have no hesitation in eliminating her, just like those Goblin infants, but in fact, in the games Fang Zheng played, Saya wasn’t like that.

In fact, Saya indeed lacks human moral and ethical views, which is understandable, given she isn’t human. In the games, there are two routes. Saya will ask Yuki if he needs her help to restore his original self.

If Yuki chooses the original world, Saya will heal him, then silently leave, continuing to search for her long-lost father. If Yuki chooses to abandon the original world and be with Saya forever, Saya will activate the mode as Sabrinicolas’s Dependent, fully transforming the world to suit her and Yuki.

Of course, because of Fang Zheng’s existence, this love story between a human and an Outer God Dependent naturally wouldn’t exist, but...

”What’s your name?”

Fang Zheng carefully scrutinized the mass of flesh before him and asked. The mass of flesh paused for a moment, then started writhing like a slime, raising its body.

”Are you not afraid of me?”

”I think you’re quite afraid of us.”

Fang Zheng snapped his fingers, and the flame at his fingertips brightened a bit. Feeling the fire, the flesh chunk immediately curled up again, trembling. It didn’t know precisely what that was, but instinctively felt the consuming power contained within the Primordial Fire.

Seeing this, Fang Zheng lowered his hand.

”Follow me.”

After saying this, he turned and left directly, with Ryoko Asakura following behind him. Soon, the locked information space vanished quickly, turning back into the original corridor.

The sight of Fang Zheng and Ryoko Asakura leaving made the chunk of flesh visibly hesitant. It turned its head, looking both ways, before sliding like a viscous liquid into the ventilation duct nearby, disappearing from sight.

”Master, it seems like it hasn’t followed us.”

Walking behind Fang Zheng, Ryoko Asakura blinked and smiled, while Fang Zheng shrugged without saying more. He just went to the parking lot behind the hospital, opened the car door, and got in; Ryoko Asakura quickly sat in the passenger seat. Moments later, they both felt the car sag slightly, as if something had appeared inside.

”Let’s go.”

Fang Zheng drove with speed through the roads, moving forward in the darkness. When he finally stepped on the brakes to stop, the car shook abruptly, and Fang Zheng and Ryoko Asakura saw the flesh chunk nearly tumble out of the trunk, rolling and crawling into the nearby bushes, opening its mouth in a series of strange sounds...

No kidding, are my driving skills that great? Even Outer God Dependents bow down?

Seeing the trembling chunk of flesh on the ground, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but widen his eyes.

Truly didn’t expect to have such a transcendent driving skill...

”Ryoko, take it inside.”

”Alright, Master.”

Ryoko Asakura clearly didn’t mind; she went to the weakened chunk, picked it up effortlessly, and walked into the entryway.

Soon...

”Woof woof woof!!!”

A series of angry dog barks rang out. Simultaneously, mixed with it was a terrified, utterly inhuman scream.

Oh, right, forgot Erha is still in there.

Fang Zheng patted his head and walked into the room, seeing Erha at the entryway, fiercely glaring at Ryoko Asakura with bared sharp dog teeth. The chunk in Ryoko Asakura’s hand tightly wrapped around her arm, trembling without stopping.

Hmm... seems to be oddly a bit cute?

”Okay, Erha, you can’t eat this.”

Fang Zheng slapped Erha’s head; Erha yelped and turned away, wagging its tail. Only then did the flesh chunk seem to relax as if relieved.

”Alright, take it to Nymph, clean it up to be presentable before coming out.”

”Understood.”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s command, Ryoko Asakura carried the chunk to the second floor, while Fang Zheng went to the kitchen, grabbed a bottle of drink from the fridge, opened it, took a few gulps, and poured the rest into Erha’s mouth beside him. Meanwhile, he turned on the TV, watching the boring news in front of him.

At the same time, various bizarre sounds like ”creak creak”, ”hula hula”, ”bang bang”, ”boom boom clang” emanated from upstairs, which Fang Zheng pretended not to hear.

Thankfully for caution’s sake, he had explicitly purchased a remote villa, otherwise, those sounds alone would have been enough for neighbors to call the police.

It was unknown how long passed before the sounds gradually faded.

After a while, a strange, timid voice sounded next to Fang Zheng’s ear.

”Excuse me... is this okay?”
