Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

When dealing with Tomie, Fang Zheng didn’t need any elaborate plans or tactics. On the contrary, his approach was very straightforward.

It was --- breaking and entering!

”Bang!”

Fang Zheng kicked open the locked door and strode into the room. Hearing the noise, a man rushed out, looking at Fang Zheng in fear.

”Who are you, you........”

”Not your business.”

Before the man could finish his sentence, Fang Zheng lightly waved his hand, and the next moment the man flew backward, hitting the wall and fainting.

However, just at this moment, Tomie suddenly rushed out from a room inside and hugged Fang Zheng tightly.

”Thank you, thank you! It was so scary, that man just brought me here wanting to harm me. I was very uneasy...”

”Alright, stop acting in front of me.”

Fang Zheng coldly pushed her aside, staring at Tomie before him.

”Tell me, is the Silver Key on you?”

”Huh?”

Faced with Fang Zheng’s cold and ruthless demeanor, Tomie was clearly surprised. To know that, all the men she had encountered, regardless of their character or age, would become enamored with her, even those with firm resolve. How could there be anyone like Fang Zheng?

”What are you talking about, I don’t know...”

Tomie looked at Fang Zheng, showcasing an appearance of weakness and ignorance. Generally, upon seeing her like this, men would be entranced by her, yet Fang Zheng simply sighed.

”Forget it, wasting time with you is pointless...”

Before the words finished, suddenly Tomie saw several semi-transparent tentacles, resembling octopus arms, emerge from the pitch-black shadow around her. They whipped around, entwining her body, climbing upward swiftly.

”Wait, wait, this is.......!?”

Looking at the tentacles before her, Tomie was greatly shocked. But before she could do anything further, the tentacles had already grabbed her, slowly sinking her downwards. Soon, Tomie vanished into the shadow on the floor.

”Ha ah... what a waste of time.”

Fang Zheng glanced at his watch, shook his head, and turned to leave.

”Next one.”

Throughout the night, Fang Zheng was just like a bandit breaking and entering, searching for people everywhere. Capturing every single Tomie, and these Tomies were not easy to deal with. They attracted many people with their allure. Some Tomies lived in men’s houses, while others hid in large households, pretending to be pitiful.

For ordinary people in this world, they might not have any means to deal with her, but Fang Zheng... does Fang Zheng need to care about this?

Whether it’s large households, ordinary residents, or gangsters, he kicked the door, captured the people, and left without a word. Anyone who dared to block him would be knocked out, plain and simple.

”I feel like I’m catching Little Fairies in the grass.”

Fang Zheng walked out of another large door and couldn’t help but complain to Nymph.

”This going around and around, just hoping to catch a rare one, but still not knowing if I’ll ever find one...”

”Master, keep it up!”

Facing Fang Zheng’s complaints, Nymph also clenched her little fists, trying hard to cheer him up.

”Any more?”

”No more, all living signals detected are here.”

”Thanks to you for helping.”

Upon hearing Nymph’s response, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but express gratitude. Previously, they couldn’t find Tomie because no one knew who Tomie was, or what she looked like, more importantly, there wasn’t a matching living signal. However, now things were different. Once Fang Zheng captured a Tomie, Nymph could perform a full scan using her living signal. Hence finding other matching signal sources. Precisely because of this, Fang Zheng could easily capture all the Tomies in less than half a night’s time.

Next comes the interrogation, however......

”It’s all your fault! It’s all you!!”

”Go to hell!”

”You’re the one who should go to hell!!”

”In this world, only I am enough. You all are fakes!”

”Nonsense, I’m the real one, you all are fake!”

What a headache......

Standing in the abandoned factory, looking at more than forty Tomies bound together by tentacles, still arguing incessantly, Fang Zheng helplessly pressed his forehead. He originally thought these guys would behave somewhat honestly recognizing their current situation. But didn’t expect these guys to still argue with each other, even at this stage.

Thinking of this, Fang Zheng took a deep breath.

”Shut up!”

With a roar, Dragon Might immediately erupted, instantly subduing all the noisy Tomies. However......

”Hey, you, you like me, right.”

A Tomie near Fang Zheng gazed at him, showing a seductive smile.

”How about this? Help me, kill them, and I will belong to you alone?”

”Wait, clearly it’s you who love me!”

Upon hearing this, the other Tomie couldn’t hold back anymore and also looked at Fang Zheng.

”I still remember the songs you sung. Those songs were so beautiful, haven’t you forgotten? Weren’t they sung for me?”

”Nonsense, I’m your true love... Obey my orders, kill them! I will be with you forever!”

”Ha ah.....”

Looking at the Tomies who had started to argue again, Fang Zheng sighed helplessly.

”Shut up, all of you, ugly freaks.”

”......”

As Fang Zheng’s words fell, the originally noisy abandoned factory suddenly became deathly silent. Each Tomie turned their head, eyes wide with disbelief, staring at Fang Zheng as if they had heard something inconceivable.

”W-what did you say?”

”I said ugly freaks, bitches.”

Fang Zheng coldly glanced at the Tomies in front of him. To be honest, with Fang Zheng’s sense of aesthetics, he truly didn’t find Tomie that attractive. How to put it... it’s like Qiuxiang in Flirting Scholar Tang Bo Hu; a flower needs green leaves for contrast. You shout ”beauty” and then see a normal person among a group of dragons, and indeed they seem like a national beauty.

Actually, Saya is the same. Saya is cute, but not to the point of stunning beauty. Yet for Ikki Niohsaka, in a world full of chunks of flesh and creatures, seeing a normal, cute, pretty girl is already akin to an angelic presence.

So, it all depends on the contrast.

”With those faces of yours, you actually have the nerve to think you’re beautiful? Look at your pathetic state—no face, no skin. You’re only suited to lure those unwanted fat nerds. Any halfway normal man, who would fancy things like you?”

Fang Zheng crossed his arms, merrily watching the Tomies before him, and spoke deliberately.

”Look at those hideous faces of yours, tsk tsk tsk, even sows are better than you, yet you still think you’re beautiful? Are your standards for comparison monkeys? Or gorillas? Needing to compare yourself to chimpanzees to gain confidence, how tragic is that... ”

”Shut up!”

”Go die, go die!!”

At this moment, all the Tomies seemed to go insane, shouting and yelling at Fang Zheng. They screamed to vent their impotent rage because Fang Zheng’s words had completely shattered their self-esteem. If it were somewhere else, these Tomies would by all means have other men kill Fang Zheng. However, here, they were all trapped and bound by tentacles, left with no choice but impotent fury.

”Whatever, why am I wasting time with you.”

Fang Zheng shook his head, then snapped his fingers.

In the next moment, the situation began to change.

The tentacles binding Tomie began to fork, spinning and extending like branches, then fine, thread-like tentacles intertwined, crawling slowly up Tomie’s neck, advancing to her ear and suddenly thrusting inside.

At this instant, the Tomie screaming curses abruptly stopped. Her eyes widened, body trembling, eyes rolling back as her mouth hung wide, tongue drooping out, drool trickling from her mouth, her body twitching as if electrocuted.

Meanwhile, the fine tentacles had already penetrated her eardrum into her brain, meticulously extracting everything within.

This is the Transdimensional Touch.

Having burned Cthulhu, Fang Zheng gained Cthulhu’s abilities to invade, absorb, and observe others’ memories. Generally speaking, Fang Zheng was reluctant to use this skill, but it depended on the target. With someone like Tomie, using them as test subjects bore no psychological or moral burden.

However...

”Nothing?”

Fang Zheng carefully investigated all the Tomies’ brains and was surprised to find none of them had the Silver Key, each believing another Tomie held it!

What’s going on?

Is there a loose end?

”Nymph, are you sure all the Tomies are here?”

Fang Zheng looked at the Tomies before him, softly asking.

”I’m sure, there’s no similar biological signal detected throughout Japan.”

Could they have gone abroad? Impossible, this isn’t a time where you can circle the world in a week. Japan doesn’t even have shinkansen yet.

However, as Fang Zheng delved further into these Tomies’ memories, he discovered another problem.

None of them remembered why they wanted the Silver Key!

Logically, usually, you hear about something, and you want to do something with it, thus you want to obtain it.

But in these Tomies’ memories, the ”want to do something with it” part was missing, as if forcibly erased, leaving them only with the thought of ”I want the Silver Key,” but no memory of ”what to do with it”!

However, Fang Zheng learned from these Tomies’ memories how they came to know about the Silver Key—unsurprisingly, it was Dr. Yayahiko Oya’s fault. This doctor experimented on Tomie, but he also fell for her and inadvertently revealed the secret of the Silver Key, having once shown it to Tomie.

Fortunately, because the doctor stayed with Saya for a while, he somewhat developed resistance, didn’t explain thoroughly, yet Tomie remembered clearly.

”A bunch of useless garbage.”

After carefully investigating these Tomies’ memories, Fang Zheng shook his head, snapped his fingers, and crimson flames reappeared, burning these Tomies to ashes, leaving nothing behind.

”Found any clues, Master?”

”No, it seems we’re one step too late... but it doesn’t mean there are no alternatives...”

Thinking this, Fang Zheng paused for a moment.

”Nymph.”

”Yes, Master, what is it?”

”You recorded Saya’s biological signal, right.”

”Yes.”

”Good, mix Saya’s biological signal with Tomie’s and perform a comprehensive scan of Japan and its vicinity to see if we can find any clues.”

”Understood!”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s command, Little Angel immediately spread her wings and quickly flew into the sky. She surveyed the pitch-black ground below, her eyes spinning rapidly, flashing with electronic radiance, and after several dozen minutes, Nymph turned her head, looking into the pitch-dark distance.

”A weak signal response detected.”

”Oh? Where?”

”Pacific Ocean.”

”.........Hmm?”
