Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

The story of Star Wars, if you set aside the grand backdrop, is actually quite simple. A poor boy living on the frontier accidentally receives a distress call from a princess kidnapped by the villains, and he resolutely embarks on a journey to rescue the princess. The poor boy then saves the princess and defeats the villains’ conspiracy, allowing justice to prevail.

Congratulations and celebrations, Coca-Cola.

”Huh? Isn’t that the person we encountered before?”

Seeing Luke fleeing in a panic on the screen, Illya couldn’t help but cry out in surprise.

”Why is he here?”

”Who knows, probably here to play the knight rescuing the princess.”

Fang Zheng yawned, watching as Luke came to a cell, opened the door, and chatted with a woman for a few moments, then ran off with her. They were then blocked at the doorway by Stormtroopers, followed by a gunfight, but......

”Do these guys even know how to shoot?”

Watching the scene on the screen, Little Hei was utterly speechless. As an ARCHER, she is naturally very skilled in shooting. However, looking at those Stormtroopers: despite having a numerical advantage and considerable firepower, they just couldn’t hit anything. Instead, Luke, the long-haired monster next to him, and another man seized the opportunity to counterattack, killing several Stormtroopers.

This scene made Little Hei extremely uncomfortable, twisting and turning on the couch, just like a King watching a Bronze player trying to rank up, almost unable to resist kicking him off and going up herself.

”Stormtroopers, well, they specialize in body outlines.”

Fang Zheng wasn’t surprised by this. Stormtroopers missing their shots isn’t news; hitting their shots would be news.

At this moment, the woman hiding behind Luke suddenly grabbed the gun from Luke’s hand, shot at the garbage chute beside them, and dashed into it. The others promptly followed.

”This kid is pretty unlucky too.”

Seeing the slightly conflicted expression on Luke’s face, Fang Zheng chuckled. Unlike the orthodox story of a knight rescuing a princess and then the two getting married, Luke, though smitten with Princess Lia, couldn’t marry her. The reason is simple: because Princess Lia is Luke’s sister......hahaha......

Wait? Isn’t this just the sci-fi version of the Heavenly Dragon Eight Divisions?

Wang Yuyan: I’m your sister!

Duan Yu: No———!!

Duan Yanqing: I’m your father!

Duan Yu: No———!!

Actually, in Fang Zheng’s view, making Luke despair is simple for Darth Vader: just capture Princess Lia and then in front of him......

Darth Vader: I’m your father!

Luke: No———!

Darth Vader (pointing at Princess Lia): She is your sister!

Luke: ......NO!!!!!!!!

Thus, feeling the malice of the world and despairing towards it, Luke turns to darkness, bringing joy to all. Congratulations and celebrations, Coca-Cola.

But speaking of which, Luke is indeed worse off than Duan Yu. At least Duan Yu eventually got married, whereas Luke ended up dying alone and had to watch Lia marry Han Solo in the meantime......Yes, if Duan Yu had to watch Wang Yuyan marry Qiao Feng, he’d probably find a temple and become a monk himself.

No wonder Luke ended up in seclusion, dying alone.

Thinking of this, Fang Zheng suddenly felt that he might have pinpointed the reason Luke never married and became a shut-in.

While Fang Zheng was lost in thought, Luke, with Princess Lia, managed to reach a broken bridge while being chased by Stormtroopers. Princess Lia hugged Luke and gave him a kiss; then the two swung across the bridge using a rope......Hmm, this actually does have a bit of a close-relative X vibe.

Seems kind of exciting?

Finally, Luke and the others ”successfully” escaped the Dead Star fortress, quickly leaving on the Millennium Falcon. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan, just like in the movie, after a confrontation with Darth Vader, voluntarily transformed into the Primordial Force and disappeared into the air.

”Should we help them catch those guys?”

At this point, Shihou Souki curiously asked. Though the thrilling chase scenes they’ve watched are as satisfying as any film’s, Shihou Souki isn’t a fool. This situation could be considered both a jailbreak and an escape, and if they could help capture those people, they might earn a big favor from the Galactic Empire.

”No need, they intentionally let those guys escape. We just need to enjoy the show.”

Fang Zheng shook his head. Although Stormtroopers being masters of body outlines is a running joke, the truth is that this ”operation” was actually planned by Darth Vader from the start. Otherwise, how could the Stormtroopers act so incompetently? Darth Vader has already planted a tracker on the Millennium Falcon Ship, just waiting for them to return to the base, and then they’ll capture them all in one go.

Indeed, Princess Lia also somewhat sensed this but had no choice because she needed to immediately decrypt the plans for the Dead Star—the Empire’s most terrifying stronghold—and find its weakness. This task couldn’t be completed inside the Dead Star, and she had to return to her base to do so. Even knowing she might be tracked, Her Royal Highness still chose to take the gamble.

Well, regardless, it has nothing to do with us; we just need to enjoy the show.

”Squeak———”

Shortly after Luke and the others’ escape, the room’s door suddenly opened with great force, and Takin Administrator and Darth Vader walked in.

”Ah, esteemed guests, please follow me.”

Takin bowed respectfully to Fang Zheng.

”Is something the matter?”

”Oh, just a minor incident. Rest assured, everything is under control. You may now set out immediately for Coruscant; His Majesty the King awaits your presence. We have a mission to carry out next and will unfortunately be unable to continue escorting you.”

”Hmm, I see...”

Upon hearing Takin’s response, Fang Zheng was silent for a moment. To be honest, he could just walk away now, but the problem was that Fang Zheng knew very well what would happen if he left – this Dead Star would definitely be lost. However, from Fang Zheng’s perspective, when facing the threat from Chaos, the stronger one’s own side is, the better.

Fang Zheng didn’t worry whether the Galactic Empire would form an alliance with him, because it didn’t matter; when Chaos invaded, their choice would be obvious and singular. In this situation, a powerful Galactic Empire clearly aligned more with his interests.

In other words, even without an alliance, the Galactic Empire resisting Chaos here could at least buy some time for the Alfalfa Galaxy and his own world, right?

”May I ask what mission you plan to undertake next?”

”Well...”

Regarding Fang Zheng’s inquiry, Takin Administrator hesitated a bit but eventually spoke.

”We will be launching an attack on the rebels, sir...”

”Then, pardon me for the boldness, but I wish to observe. Would you agree? Rest assured, I will not express any opinion on your methods; I just wish to evaluate and understand the power of the Galactic Empire.”

”Of course, no problem.”

Hearing this, Takin smiled; evidently, he was quite pleased with the opportunity to demonstrate the Galactic Empire’s formidable power in front of a guest. Especially for a guest from another star system, making them feel the Empire’s strength would indeed be a significant achievement in front of the Emperor.

”I will contact His Imperial Majesty; please wait a moment.”

Saying this, Takin left, and after more than ten minutes, he returned to Fang Zheng with a smile.

”His Imperial Majesty has agreed; please follow me, esteemed guests.”

Afterward, under the guidance of Takin Administrator, Fang Zheng and his group arrived at the control room of the Dead Star; at this moment, this enormous artificial satellite was slowly rotating around a red planet.

”We are currently orbiting Yebi Planet, where the base of the rebels is located on the planet’s moon.”

While watching the universe ahead, Takin Administrator also explained to Fang Zheng and the others.

”What we need to do next is catch up with that moon and destroy it.”

”Destroy it?”

Little Hei curiously looked around and asked.

”Do you plan to destroy that moon? Is that okay?”

”Of course, charming lady.”

Takin Administrator chuckled.

”You may not know, but this Dead Star is the Empire’s largest and most powerful weapon. Its power is sufficient to completely destroy a planet; no matter where those cunning rebels hide, they cannot escape our attack.”

”That’s really impressive.”

Eiriri was quite surprised as well but didn’t show much concern. After all, there were warships with similar capabilities in the Azure Fleet. In the Mech World, Eiriri had seen them destroy planet after planet, so she was already used to it.

Little Hei and Illya were the same, not particularly surprised; however, for Shihou Souki, this was terrifying. She frowned, staring at the screen.

”Such a large planet, and you can completely destroy it?”

Compared to others, Shihou Souki was evidently more incredulous, because she could clearly see that the machinery in the Galactic Empire’s fortress was mostly still in DOS system mode, which to her seemed very rudimentary and incomprehensible. If she only looked at these machines, she would think their civilization was decades less advanced than Academy City.

Yet, this same civilization could create a powerful weapon capable of destroying a planet?

What a joke, even Academy City can’t do that!

”Of course, you’ll soon see its power, miss.”

Shihou Souki’s expression clearly satisfied Takin Administrator. He chuckled again, then turned to look at the screen. At this moment, a report came from the command station ahead.

”Rebel aircraft detected, approaching us.”

Soon, everyone saw on the screen those small X-shaped fighters quickly flying through space, approaching the fortress and launching an attack.

”It’s just a futile struggle, easily defeated.”

Watching this scene, Takin Administrator snorted lightly. To him, it was clearly the enemy’s desperate struggle. But Fang Zheng knew what they wanted to do. Although the Dead Star was a huge superweapon, it had a very obvious weakness: the exhaust port connected to the reactor. If they could drop a bomb through that exhaust port, they could trigger a meltdown that would destroy the entire Dead Star.

That’s what happens to a civilization without Shields.

Watching the fighters dive onto the Dead Star’s surface and battle with the turrets, Fang Zheng yawned. If it were the Heavenly Dao Palace, with Klein Field and Shield activated, getting in here would be a miracle.

Still, the plot hole of Star Wars was rectified by saying that the Dead Star’s designer deliberately included such a flaw in order to destroy it – well, in any case, it’s a better reason than many final bosses arbitrarily creating such a design flaw.

At least it holds up somewhat rationally.

Meanwhile, on the screen, the rebel base gradually came into clear view.

”Target entering firing range in seven minutes.”
