Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Although the Rebel Army outside has already tried their hardest, unfortunately, their actions have had absolutely no impact on the fortress itself. After all, the Dead Star is too enormous; it’s practically an artificial asteroid, and by comparison, the Resistance Group’s X-wing fighters are like mosquitoes—annoying but nothing special.

Of course, the anti-aircraft guns can’t hit the mosquitoes either.

In the entire command room, only Fang Zheng was still observing the mosquitoes flying back and forth, while everyone else focused their attention on the satellite before them.

The Imperial Fighter Jets launched relentless counterattacks against the Rebel Army, and even Darth Vader himself joined in—honestly speaking, Fang Zheng never understood this tactic. The Rebel Army only has thirty fighters, yet the Dead Star fortress is so large with surely thousands of fighters in defense. Not many are needed, just sending out a hundred fighters would be enough to completely block these people, so why bother making Darth Vader take action personally?

Could it be that using so many fighters against the Rebel Army is considered a minor affair?

While Fang Zheng pondered, the air battle outside the fortress reached its final moments, with only one last Rebel fighter stubbornly holding on. It quickly darted through the fortress’s gap, while Darth Vader led two of his subordinates closely behind the opponent.

However, just as Darth Vader locked onto the fighter ahead, a Light Beam suddenly descended from the sky, destroying one of the fighters beside Darth Vader. Subsequently, another lost its direction and crashed directly into Darth Vader’s fighter, with both then colliding into the fortress surface. Darth Vader hadn’t anticipated his subordinate’s incompetence, spinning uncontrollably as he was smashed towards the sky.

”Alright, kid, the path is clear, quickly destroy the target so we can go home!”

”Han!”

Hearing that familiar voice over the intercom, Luke in the cockpit was also filled with excitement. He stared intensely at the passage ahead, while the mysterious voice sounded once again in Luke’s ear.

”Feel the Primordial Force, child, it is with you...”

Captured!

Seemingly blessed with sudden insight, Luke forcefully pressed the launch button, quickly firing two bombs from the X-wing fighter, shooting forward. If nothing unexpected happens, they will enter the perpendicular cooling duct not far ahead and directly fall into the reactor core, completely destroying the Dead Star.

However...

”Swish!!”

Just after the two bombs entered the cooling duct, suddenly Luke saw a sudden flash of blue light in front, then those two bombs suddenly bounced out, and exploded in mid-air with a ”boom!”

”What’s happening?!”

Witnessing this scene, whether it was Luke piloting the fighter or Han Solo controlling the Millennium Falcon Ship, they were both astonished, staring wide-eyed in disbelief at the reality before them—no matter how unacceptable they felt, the reality was laid before them—their plan had failed!

”Retreat, we must retreat immediately, kid!”

”But...”

”No buts, hurry up, or it’ll be too late to escape!”

As if to validate Han Solo’s words, simultaneously, the massive turrets on the Dead Star’s surface began shining, soon discharging four green rays of light which merged together, coalescing into a thick and massive Light Beam, shooting directly towards the satellite ahead. Very quickly, that beam hit the distant satellite, and with a flash of Radiance, the next moment the enormous satellite burst completely like an overinflated balloon, breaking into a pile of Fragments.

”No—!!”

Seeing this scene, Luke was almost overwhelmed with rage, he tightly held the control lever and let out an indignant roar. Though he desperately wanted to turn back and engage in deadly combat with that damned satellite, reason ultimately prevailed, and he piloted the fighter to flee into the galaxy alongside the Millennium Falcon Ship before the Imperial Fighter Jets could arrive.

”Oh?”

At this moment, Fang Zheng narrowed his eyes; he could sense that before the satellite was destroyed, a transport ship had escaped from it, clearly carrying the soul information of Princess Lia.

She actually managed to escape, the protagonist Halo is certainly unique.

Fang Zheng chuckled softly at this thought, withdrew his gaze, and closed his eyes.

Soon, he saw an old man, robed and standing in the void, gazing at him.

”You shouldn’t have done this, you are aiding evil,”

The old man opened his mouth to complain displeasedly, but Fang Zheng merely snorted.

”Sorry, but I don’t see any reason to accept your criticism. Let me reiterate, our Heavenly Dao Palace is a neutral third party. We come to this Star System to engage with its legally established governing bodies and forces, and don’t seem to need permission from you unknown Old Mices who suddenly popped up, and not to mention you just attempted to kill us... do you think our Heavenly Dao Palace is easy to bully?!”

With these words, Fang Zheng suddenly raised his voice, and the Primordial Force in the entire universe seemed to be stirred at that moment.

”Listen, you’re just a bunch of rebels, a bunch of rats in the ground. How Heavenly Dao Palace conducts its affairs is not for you to criticize and protest. This time I let you go, but if you dare to continue challenging my bottom line, I will make you understand... what true destruction is!”

Fang Zheng stared coldly at the old man in front of him, and in the next moment, the surrounding scene suddenly changed.

Scarlet earth enveloped everything, with endless swarms roaring in, shrieking as they covered the ground and sky, tearing everything in front of them into pieces. This illusion made the old man’s face change, and when the jumping bugs pounced on him, he instinctively raised his hand to shield himself.

In the next moment, the illusion shattered.

”Don’t think that because you became the Primordial Force, I can’t do anything to you, Master Obi-Wan.”

Fang Zheng raised his right hand, and a small flame appeared at his fingertip.

”What kind of force and organization the Galactic Empire truly is, I will see, investigate, and study with my own eyes. It’s not about listening to you lament here, do you understand what I mean?”

”......”

The old man stared at the flame on Fang Zheng’s fingertip, was silent for a moment, then turned and disappeared into the boundless void.

”Hmph.”

Watching the old man disappear, Fang Zheng also snorted lightly and put down the flame in his hand. He never looked up to the rebels in Star Wars; in Fang Zheng’s view, they were just a ragtag group. They have no faith, no conviction, no organizational ability, nothing. They simply shout meaningless slogans to vent their anger and discontent, and most importantly—originally, the rebels were formed by oppressed ”non-human” species against the Galactic Empire.

In Fang Zheng’s opinion, there is nothing wrong with this. Any vast country requires dominant nations and races to govern. As a pro-human superiority advocate, he naturally stands from a human perspective. The Galactic Empire’s suppression of non-human species is to solidify human dominance, and Fang Zheng has no complaints about it. If it were him, his actions would not differ much, though perhaps slightly more gentle. But essentially, Fang Zheng and Palpatine have quite a bit in common.

However, the rebels?

A mixed bag with everything!

The persecuted non-human species can be understood; at least initially, the rebels’ purpose was clear. But later, with the involvement of other forces, the rebels’ main goal became increasingly vague. Jedi Knights attempted to use the rebels to overthrow the Empire and restore the Republic—in plain words, a political failure’s opportunistic attempt. And the addition of smugglers and the impoverished lower class turned the rebels into loose sand.

Smugglers naturally yearned to weaken the Empire to gain relatively independent status, power, and benefits. The impoverished masses simply wanted a better life, non-humans tried to elevate their status, at least achieving racial equality. The Jedi’s goal was to defeat the Empire and restore the Republic.

See, a tangled mess.

If they didn’t have a common enemy in the Galactic Empire, and if the Galactic Empire weren’t strong enough to suppress them, forcing them to unite, this rebel group might have collapsed long ago.

So in Fang Zheng’s view, the rebels are completely incompatible with him. He’s not interested in hearing the fleeing Jedi Knights’ laments about the Empire’s brutality; politics itself is such a thing. Didn’t you once place Anakin beside Palpatine as a spy? Now that you can’t win, you come crying that the opponent is too brutal; are you out of your mind?

Palpatine can overturn the Jedi Temple because he’s capable; your Jedi Order has been in the Republic for thousands of years, surely not suddenly becoming pure and harmless as innocent lambs, right? Lack of power, lack of ability, lack of vision, being tricked is well-deserved, isn’t it? Now you take on the victim identity, tearfully showing it; who are you showing it to?

And the local separatists among the rebels are what Fang Zheng despises most; as a supporter of reunification, he is very displeased with any form of separatism, and those in the rebel group pretending to act freely as a means of achieving independence, Fang Zheng naturally looks down upon.

As for those oppressed aliens?

Oh, we express deep sympathy and regret for their plight...

”Mr. Fang Zheng.”

Fang Zheng opened his eyes, seeing Takin Administrator standing in front of him, he also smiled slightly.

”I witnessed the power of the Galactic Empire firsthand, truly extraordinary.”

”Thank you for the compliment, Mr. Fang Zheng. We have now completely eliminated the rebel base. For the great Galactic Empire, this is also a victory worthy of being recorded.”

Takin Administrator was indeed very excited; after all, this plan was proposed by Darth Vader, and Takin Administrator himself was under considerable pressure. If the plan failed, his political career would come to an end. Fortunately, everything went smoothly...

”Thank you for showing me this spectacle, I now plan to set off for Coruscant.”

”That is wonderful.”

Hearing this, Takin Administrator also broke into a smile.

”His Imperial Majesty will be very pleased to meet you.”
