Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

When Fang Zheng returned to the Star Destroyer, he quickly met with Darth Vader.

”Long time no see, Lord Vader.”

Fang Zheng smiled and reached out to shake Darth Vader’s hand.

”I really regret what happened before...”

At this point, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but feel a bit rueful. In fact, shortly after Fang Zheng arrived at Coruscant, Takin Administrator once again controlled the Dead Star to launch an offensive against the Rebel Army. Just this time, his luck was truly bad, and Luke once again piloted a fighter, single-handedly infiltrating the Dead Star fortress to destroy it.

Well, it seems this unlucky Dead Star is destined to face such a catastrophe.

Even more fatal was that, at that time, Fang Zheng was still on Coruscant, and Darth Vader had gone elsewhere, which significantly reduced the pressure on the Rebel Army side...... Sigh, besides expressing how strange fate is, Fang Zheng really had nothing much to say.

”It’s nothing, Mr. Fang Zheng. At least it made us revise our plan.”

Darth Vader’s voice remained deep and hoarse.

”We have already discovered the rebel bases in the Hoth System, and we are planning to depart and catch those guys all at once. I’ve heard from His Imperial Majesty that you are going to provide us with — technological support?”

”Of course.”

Fang Zheng chuckled.

”Is there a problem?”

”No, I’m just really curious about how you’re going to provide support.”

”You’ll know when the time comes, Lord Vader. Our Heavenly Dao Palace has some little tricks.”

”Report!”

At that moment, a soldier strode over, and Vader turned his head to look at him.

”What’s the matter, General?”

”The fleet has exited lightspeed, and we detected an energy field protecting Planet Six in the Hoth System. The energy field is strong enough to resist bombardments of any magnitude.”

”Very well, it seems the rebels have discovered us.”

Hearing this, Darth Vader’s voice showed some displeasure. He turned to the other side of the command room, where a corpulent man stood issuing commands. Upon noticing Darth Vader’s gaze, he quickly turned and came respectfully in front of Darth Vader, bowing.

”Lord Vader, the fleet has exited lightspeed, and we are preparing......”

However, before the man could finish speaking, his expression suddenly changed, as if an invisible hand had grabbed his throat.

”I’ve had enough of your stupidity, Commander.”

Staring at the man in front of him, Darth Vader said in a low voice, while Fang Zheng stood silently by, arms crossed, watching the drama.

”You’re too foolish, too arrogant, too proud. You’ve let the rebels notice our presence, and this is an unforgivable mistake. Fortunately, this will be your last failure......”

At this point, Darth Vader looked again at the soldier who had come to report earlier.

”Colonel Piett?”

”Yes, Master?”

”Deploy the fleet, do not let anything escape, and have the army prepare to land away from the energy field......”

As Darth Vader gave the order, the man’s complexion grew even paler. He opened his mouth wide, like a fish out of water struggling to breathe, yet in the next moment, he simply collapsed, showing no more response. Soon, two soldiers came over and quietly dragged him away.

From beginning to end, Darth Vader did not look at the unlucky person. He just gave his orders, glancing only at the end.

”Well, it’s now up to you to command, Commander Piett.”

”Thank you, Lord Vader!”

The man evidently did not expect he would ascend to command from a mere colonel to fleet commander, which excited him greatly. However, just as he was about to leave, Fang Zheng suddenly called out to him.

”Oh, wait a moment.”

”Is there something, Mr. Fang Zheng?”

Darth Vader looked towards Fang Zheng, who shrugged.

”You see, I’m here to provide you with technical support, so now it’s time for me to serve you...... Hmm, sorry, could you give me a moment, just five minutes? I wish to contact the Rebel Army and convince them to surrender.”

”Convince?”

Faced with Fang Zheng’s proposal, Darth Vader was evidently quite surprised, but he didn’t think much of it and simply nodded.

”Of course, Mr. Fang Zheng.”

After all, it’s impossible for the Imperial Forces to gather in less than five minutes.

”Thank you.”

Fang Zheng nodded to Darth Vader, then opened his personal terminal, gently scanning it. Soon, Fang Zheng’s personal terminal quickly captured the signal, then Fang Zheng cleared his throat before speaking.

”Hello, members of the Rebel Army.”

”What? What’s going on?!”

At the same time, the rebels on Planet No. 6 were astonished. They had already detected the Imperial Fleet coming across space and were preparing for the final battle. However, at this moment, a voice suddenly took over all their channels, occupying both public and private frequencies completely. Base, fighters, spaceships, even ordinary soldiers’ walkie-talkies were filled with this voice.

”What is the meaning of this? Shut it down immediately!”

Staring at the screen, Princess Lia’s face also changed, but the people in front of her were drenched in sweat, unable to resolve the issue.

”No, our frequency is locked and can’t be changed!”

”Then just shut it off!”

”It won’t shut off!”

However, that voice was utterly unfazed by the rebels’ panic and continued calmly and composedly.

”I want to remind everyone that you’ve been surrounded by the Imperial Fleet. Resistance is futile. For your and others’ safety, I hope you will surrender. You have thirty seconds to consider, and I hope you make the right choice.”

”What a joke!”

”Surrender? Dream on!”

Upon hearing this, everyone shouted angrily, while Princess Lia looked anxious. Although she’s not very familiar with technology, her intuition told her that danger was closing in.

”We must leave at once. Arrange transport ships and get everyone out immediately!”

”Ten seconds left.”

However, that voice completely ignored them, simply counting down on its own.

”Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two...one point nine, one point eight, one point seven...I say, folks, are you still not choosing to surrender? Life is indeed precious.”

”Dream on! We’d rather die than surrender!”

”Then there’s nothing I can do.”

Upon hearing the Rebel Army’s reply from the personal terminal, Fang Zheng sighed helplessly, then reached out and lightly tapped on the personal terminal.

”Overload.”

”———————!”

In just an instant, everything fell silent.

The originally bright and dazzling command center became dark; everything seemed to stop functioning. For a moment, people didn’t even know what had happened. Princess Lia screamed out loud.

”What happened? Contact the others immediately!”

”We can’t contact them, it seems there’s an issue with the communication system!”

”What about the generator? Start up the backup generator!”

”No, it won’t start up at all!”

”Transporter, hurry, let’s get to the transporter...”

However, before Princess Lia finished speaking, she saw a soldier run into the command center, out of breath.

”Report, we’re in big trouble; all our fighters are done for!”

”What do you mean? What does done for mean?”

Upon hearing this, Princess Lia’s face turned pale. She rushed forward and grabbed the soldier’s collar, loudly demanding an answer, while the soldier shook his head.

”I don’t know either, but all our fighters are paralyzed! They can’t start!”

”What about the transporters?”

”The same goes for the transporters!”

”What?!”

Upon hearing this, Princess Lia’s expression changed instantly.

”Oh, this hexadecimal firewall, who are you trying to fool?”

Fang Zheng closed his personal terminal, shaking his head. Information, information is the foundation of modern society, but unfortunately, this world seems to be taking a clumsy, old-fashioned path in terms of information protection, comparable to primitive society. Fang Zheng was like a civilization from outer space coming into a primitive society, where all it took was a casual tap to annihilate their entire race.

”Alright, Lord Vida.”

Fang Zheng put away his personal terminal, politely gesturing to Darth Vida.

”I have paralyzed all their electronic facilities, now you can begin your attack.”

”Ah...hmm...!”

Even Darth Vida was stunned for a moment before nodding, then hurriedly ordered the others to prepare for the attack. Nevertheless, deep in Darth Vida’s heart, there was a complex feeling. He had never seen this type of offensive mode before, and even if he thought of it, it would be useless because the Galactic Empire didn’t have this technical capability. They couldn’t invade electronically; they could only do it physically. Like Fang Zheng, connecting directly to the communication frequencies and sweeping through all the opponent’s electronic devices in one go, this was something Darth Vida couldn’t even dream of doing.

Might as well use the Primordial Force; at least this way, he could understand a little.

But anyway, Darth Vida understood that the opponent possessed a power beyond his imagination.

This power...seemed even more terrifying than the Primordial Force.

In fact, from Fang Zheng’s previous actions, there was no imposing aura, with Darth Vida’s standard, it might even seem a bit lazy. He just said a few soft words, then sighed, and tapped on the strange terminal in front of him.

However...the consequences were something he couldn’t achieve even with the Primordial Force.

Darth Vida could sense that, at this moment, others looked at Fang Zheng with clear reverence in their eyes—a look he had seen before when he used the Primordial Force to execute those disobedient and insubordinate soldiers. Darth Vida never felt there was anything wrong with it; fear was a means of control.

But now, he discovered there seemed to be more than one way to instill fear.

Looking at Fang Zheng now, sitting in his chair, leaning against the wall, resting sideways, seemingly listening to music, humming quietly. Yet everyone passing by slowed down their steps and lowered their voices, afraid of disturbing him.

Darth Vida understood why they behaved like this. After all, for someone who could render the originally ready-for-battle Rebel Army entirely incapacitated with a wave of a hand, this treatment was very normal.

Now Darth Vida didn’t even care about the rebel forces on the ground anymore, because they had lost their value.

The fact was also like this.

The Rebel Army hidden on Planet No. 6 didn’t lack resistance, but...they couldn’t resist.

Fang Zheng directly overloaded all of their electronic devices and systems. Apart from the guns they held being intact, all other equipment was done for, beyond repair. Without power supply, the Rebel Army’s barriers naturally failed, and their inability to coordinate through communication left them scattered and disorganized. Combined with the freezing, Antarctic-like harsh weather on Planet No. 6, even if the Imperial Forces didn’t attack, they would likely freeze to death there.

Harsh climate, unable to communicate, lack of command, all equipment failed—these factors quickly caused the Rebel Army to lose their will to resist. When Stormtroopers charged in, most of them chose to surrender, while those who defiantly refused—naturally died.

After all, they chose death over surrender.

”Ah, Princess Lia, we meet again.”

Looking at Princess Lia being escorted by Stormtroopers, Darth Vida coldly smiled while Princess Lia glared angrily at him.

”Vida, what did you do? How did you do it? Dammit, why didn’t I know the Empire had this kind of power?”

”Of course you didn’t know because it wasn’t the Empire’s power.”

Darth Vida shook his head.

”Not...the Empire?”

”Correct, we have a new friend...they call themselves the Heavenly Dao Palace, from a world beyond this Milky Way, and earlier we managed to defeat you thanks to their...technical support.”

At this point, Darth Vida paused, then waved his hand.

”Take her away, don’t let her escape this time.”

With Darth Vida’s command, the Stormtroopers quickly took Princess Lia away, and this time Princess Lia did not struggle. Instead, she was in a state of shock.

Forces from outside the Milky Way?

What on earth is going on?!

At this moment, Princess Lia realized she knew too little about what was happening.
