Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1066: Chapter 1065: Is This World Really Going to Be Destroyed Again?

For Fang Zheng, the appearance of this humanoid reaper was just a minor episode, but it was also a wake-up call. Clearly, considering that other reapers have not shown similar reactions, it is likely that the abilities of reapers made from people in Another World differ from those of the original reapers.

Not to mention, just one Boson Jump is enough to give anyone a headache.

Therefore, for Fang Zheng, the most important thing right now is to enter that world and completely eliminate the reapers.

Clearly, the power of that world is not enough to resist the existence of reaper-level threats—what? You ask how Fang Zheng knows this?

Are you kidding? His current mission progress bar has dropped from ninety-eight percent to seventy-six percent!

Even without looking at the Ratziel, just watching this slowly declining progress bar, Fang Zheng could guess how chaotic the situation there is. After all, compared to the Star Alliance of this world, the Earth Federation of that world seems to be utterly indefensible. It’s like an era where a group of Wings of Death ran into a city to massacre, just utterly powerless.

So, after taking down the humanoid reaper, Fang Zheng didn’t hesitate to directly enter the dilapidated Archangel Ship—now he just hopes to find a usable medium inside.

Of course, Fang Zheng didn’t forget to turn on his personal terminal’s transmission equipment to broadcast the situation inside the Archangel Ship to others.

Seeing the screen filled with bloodstains, the deathly stillness, and the already riddled Archangel Ship, everyone on the Nadeshiko couldn’t help but shiver. They didn’t know what exactly happened to the Archangel Ship, but looking at the bloodstains on the walls, those struggling bloody handprints, and the entire wall blasted open...

My goodness, if the Nadeshiko hadn’t been teleported to the battlefield on the Heavenly Dao Palace’s side back then, it probably would have ended up like this too.

No, maybe even worse, after all, the Archangel Ship is a warship, besides refugees, there are still regular soldiers on it. And although the Nadeshiko is armed, it is strictly a civilian warship, apart from maintenance personnel, operators, and a few guards, there’s basically no other combat personnel.

In such a situation, if the Nadeshiko was captured, the situation might be even worse than the Archangel Ship.

”No life signs detected, seems like there are no survivors here... well, no deceased either.”

Fang Zheng glanced at the scan report on his personal terminal and casually remarked as he headed towards the hangar.

Fortunately, the hangar itself had not suffered much damage, which might be related to the Collectors landing in the hangar initially. And Fang Zheng finally found several mechas docked in the hangar—these mechas didn’t even have time to be used before they became a pile of scrap metal.

It is evident that dealing with these robots couldn’t be simpler. Even if you can’t win on the battlefield, as a pilot, you can’t stay inside a robot 24/7 for 365 days a year; as long as you make a move when the pilot is out, then no matter how formidable the ace pilot is in the battlefield, they’re nothing more than a lamb to the slaughter.

If planned well, a car bomb can send the opponent to meet Yama in the afterlife.

”Let’s go with this one.”

Fang Zheng spent a long time selecting and finally chose an MS that looked dumbfounded, then reached out and placed his hand on the MS’s armor. Soon, a system prompt popped up in front of Fang Zheng’s eyes once again.

”Detected a foreign world item, do you wish to consume 5000 Dimensional Points to initiate a scan?”

”Initiate.”

With Fang Zheng’s words, a Light Orb suddenly appeared out of thin air, enveloping the MS. Following that, the system information promptly floated up before Fang Zheng.

[Scanning Progress 50%...75%...90%...Scan Complete]

[Detected alternate world spatial plane coordinates, do you wish to initiate teleportation?]

[Warning: This world is currently under attack by a force beyond plane limit, unable to sustain full teleportation transfer, can use COST limit of 10000]

”Ten thousand huh...”

Looking at the information in front of him, Fang Zheng frowned. If it’s a 10000 COST, then he couldn’t take a fully compiled Super Flagship Fleet over. After all, just the three Ark ships of the Star Spirit themselves exceed 15000 COST. Given that, he would only be able to take a flagship fleet consisting of Titans...

However, considering that over there isn’t the reaper’s base, and at most there are just over a hundred reapers there, a Titan core flagship fleet on his side should suffice to deal with those reapers.

Besides, if things get really bad, he could still Release the Swarm.

”Iona, bring out the First Fleet, we’re getting ready to set off.”

What Fang Zheng referred to as the First Fleet consists of the Mind Models he initially constructed while ”farming” in the Fleet Girl world, including the Vampire, Takao, Unicorn, Dark Realm, Horror, Rodney. After returning to the Heavenly Dao Palace, new members have been added to this fleet, including Little Swan, Leander, Aurora, and Reputation. Plus newly joined Fearless Ships Belfast and London, Carrier Radiance plus Titan Hood.

This fleet is directly under Iona, and has fought alongside Fang Zheng the longest. Since he is to bring, he would naturally bring his most well-practiced fleet.

Of course, Fang Zheng didn’t forget to bring along Nymph and Black Katie. After all, Black Katie’s prowess has been proven; handling a dozen reapers alone is no problem. The remaining reapers left for Fang Zheng and the First Fleet are no big deal.

As for Tilia, she will remain here, handling Heavenly Dao Palace’s subsequent diplomatic discussions with other civilizations—incidentally, see if anything else could be squeezed out.

Oh, and the Nadeshiko crew; they’re most certainly heading home.

In fact, upon learning that the reapers have gone to their world, the crew of the Nadeshiko was already eager to return home. They’ve been running around with Shupard witnessing the horrors of those reapers first-hand. Even the Milky Way’s civilizations, with truly advanced technology, aren’t a match for the reapers, so their Earth Federation, which hasn’t even stepped out of the Solar System yet and is still fighting around the Moon... it’s hopeless!

Quickly, the First Fleet was brought together by Iona, assembled together. Then Fang Zheng returned aboard Iona, swiftly activating the Dimensional Codex to open the teleportation gate to another world.

”Swish---!”

Soon, an invisibly spinning expanding black hole suddenly appeared in front of everyone, and Fang Zheng, looking at the teleportation gate before him, gave his right hand a strong wave, issuing the command.

”Everyone, set off!”

The Dimensional Codex’s teleportation gate is undoubtedly more reliable than that unknown time-space quake, at least when Fang Zheng and others entered the Nadeshiko’s world, they did not appear on the battlefield between two armies, nor in a pile of monsters, but appeared beside a large colonized satellite.

However, this colonized satellite...

”This is truly tragic.”

Looking at the scene before him, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but click his tongue in empathy, the exterior of this colonized satellite is a cylindrical structure similar to the Citadel, just not as large as the Citadel, apparently used for colonial civilian habitation. But now, this artificial colonized satellite had already become a ragged relic, with big holes everywhere and around it, one could still see the wreckage of warships in disarray.

”This is... SIDE7! It’s actually been destroyed?!”

Unlike the spectators Fang Zheng and others, the crew members of Nadeshiko were visibly more surprised at the sight before them.

”What’s there to be surprised about... shouldn’t you be doing something proper, like contacting your supervisor and asking about what’s going on before your eyes?”

”Yes, Yes!”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s words, Vice-captain Aoi Jun quickly snapped back to his senses and issued the order.

”Immediately contact Nirga Heavy Industries and the Earth Federation to inquire about the situation!”

”Yes!”

Quickly, a ponytailed girl responsible for communications swiftly opened the comms and began calling.

”This is the Nirga Heavy Industries warship Nadeshiko, please respond if you can hear! Is anyone out there? Please respond!”

”......”

After a while, the expression of the crew member changed to one of unease, she turned her head towards the deputy captain.

”Report, no response...”

Could it be that this world is yet again doomed?
