Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1059: Chapter 1058: Keep a Low Profile

The conflict between the two parties originated from a trivial matter, truly trivial.

On their way to the target location, the Fleet Girls of the Azure Fleet naturally had nothing to do and came aboard this warship for a tour. It was then they inevitably saw the robots stored in the hangar. However, at first glance, they didn’t regard these robots as weapons; on the contrary, after some discussion, the Fleet Girls unanimously concluded that these must be some sort of — toys.

That’s right, to the Fleet Girls, these things were just oversized toys.

So, they began to wonder, what on earth gave the people here the courage to use toys to fight against Fang Zheng’s Swarm?

Indeed, in the eyes of the Fleet Girls, Kira and Aslan’s previous actions were akin to little kids armed with water guns facing a steel torrent. They couldn’t fathom where they got the courage.

However, it was amidst their conversation that Domon overheard, believing they had insulted his comrades and the warriors’ honor, and immediately started arguing with them.

Initially, Domon didn’t intend to argue; he just spoke a bit loudly. But it startled the Empress quite a lot, and seeing her startled, Ajax by her side naturally wouldn’t let it pass and launched into a tirade of sarcasm at Domon.

Ajax’s sharp tongue naturally infuriated Domon, causing the conflict to escalate rapidly.

”Originally, these things are just toys after all.”

Ajax, with a mocking smile, looked at Domon, who clenched his fists tightly before her.

”At least to us, these oversized toys have no value other than to pass the time.”

”What did you say... Gundams are important weapons for us! Women like you have no idea; in our world, Gundams are the most powerful weapons...!”

”Then it only proves that your world is nothing but a group of children playing house.”

Ajax sneered at Domon’s retort.

”Instead of pursuing how to build more powerful warships, you’re wasting resources and energy on these toys. I really doubt whether the people in your world are mentally sound? Oh, but thinking about it, they probably aren’t; otherwise, they wouldn’t have been foolish enough to actively attack the Commander’s Swarm...”

”You bastard...”

”Enough, Domon!!”

At this moment, a girl rushed over hurriedly to stop Domon.

”Don’t say any more! We are prisoners now, and every world has its own customs, no need to argue with her.”

”I just cannot forgive this woman’s disrespect towards the dead!”

”Just a bunch of lowly humans, really dare to talk big.”

Ajax coldly smiled and then turned to leave.

”Empress, let’s go. Someday, we’ll make this man understand what true war is.”

To everyone, this was just a minor quarrel.

They never expected that this quarrel would one day manifest before them in a different form.

However, compared to the Nadeshiko, the situation of the Archangel Ship is by no means good.

”What’s the situation?”

The acting captain of the Archangel Ship — Maru Lamias sat in the chair, her expression tense as she stared at the screen before her. Unlike the Nadeshiko, the Archangel Ship was engaged in an extremely fierce battle before the space-time disturbance, and the ship had suffered considerable damage.

”No way to repair the hull. Engine processing reduced to below thirty-five percent!”

What bad luck!

Upon hearing the report, Maru frowned even more, feeling that the Archangel Ship was encountering nothing but bad luck. Initially, they were only there to receive new Gundams, but ended up being ambushed by the enemy, losing four out of the five Gundams they had. The remaining one was even taken by a student.

After finally breaking through the siege of ZAFT and Zeon and replenishing supplies in the asteroid belt, they were still blocked off, not to mention that the captain of the Archangel Ship was also injured and died. So Maru had to assume the responsibility of acting captain, and due to insufficient staff on board, she even had to make the civilians taking refuge on the warship join the work...

Now they were caught in a space-time disturbance, and let’s not even talk about the troublesome person aboard...

Thinking of this, Maru couldn’t help but glance back, then withdrew her gaze.

”Still can’t contact the Nadeshiko?”

”No way, the Nadeshiko does not seem to be in this star domain, and this star domain is very unfamiliar, can’t identify the direction.”

”......”

Upon hearing the report, Maru hesitated for a moment, then issued a command.

A command that, in Fang Zheng’s eyes, was no different from suicide.

”Open all-channel broadcast and issue a distress signal!”

Maru had also experienced space-time disturbances, so she could somewhat guess that her warship had been sent to a whole new world due to the space-time disturbance. However, in Maru’s impression, even in a new world, it would most likely still be dominated by humans. Like New Humanity, NTs, or other such existences. At the very least, they should be able to communicate with them.

So rather than being trapped here, it’s better to issue a distress signal, which might bring rescue.

But Maru completely did not expect that the place where she was now was a world entirely different from her memory.

And her command also sealed the fate of the Archangel Ship.

”—————!”

Not long after, suddenly, a gigantic warship appeared above the Archangel Ship as if it had teleported. It looked like a massive cylinder made of steel and rock; if Shupard were here, she would have recognized it immediately as the warship of the Collectors!

”Captain, an unidentified warship suddenly appeared above us!”

In Maru’s world, people hadn’t yet ventured out of the Solar System, so naturally, they didn’t possess the technology for interstellar travel through teleportation. As a result, it wasn’t until the Collectors’ warship appeared above the Archangel Ship that the Archangel’s radar detected it.

”Suddenly appeared?”

Upon hearing the report, Maru paused for a moment. However, just as she was about to communicate with the suddenly appearing warship, she saw the screen in front of her suddenly start to jitter, and then it went completely black with a ”pop.” At the same time, the operator’s voice rang out once more.

”All systems offline! Interference from an unknown cause!”

What on earth is going on?

”Screech—————!”

As everyone stood puzzled, suddenly, accompanied by a shrill screech of metal grinding, the Archangel Ship began to tremble violently. At the same time, urgent red alarm sounds blared. Hearing this unfamiliar alarm, Maru was momentarily stunned, then she abruptly stood up.

”Not good, the enemy intends to board the ship by force!! Quickly assemble personnel for defense! All pilots immediately go to the hangar, start up the mobile suits, and prepare for battle!”

”Boom!!”

However, before Maru could finish her sentence, suddenly, a loud explosion was heard from afar, and then a panic-stricken voice appeared on the communication channel.

”This is the tarmac, we’ve been attacked, my god, what is this thing? Help! Help———ah!!”

With a miserable scream, the communication was cut off.

Maru stood dumbfounded in front of the command platform, her face pale and covered with cold sweat.

What on earth had she attracted?
