Chapter 473: Chapter 472: The Dating Process of Nymph the Little Angel

While Mephist and the others were in chaos, Fang Zheng and Nymph were leisurely watching a movie in the cinema.

Perhaps because it wasn’t a holiday or any special occasion, there weren’t any particularly good films screening. There was only a sloppy B-horror film called ”Your Left Hand on My Shoulder” and a romance film titled ”A Maiden’s Heart is Always Wet.”

In the end, Fang Zheng hesitated for a moment but still chose the romance film ”A Maiden’s Heart is Always Wet.” He remembered Little Angel seemed to particularly enjoy watching this kind of soap opera, although, by convention, the best choice to watch with a girl was supposed to be a horror film. But considering Nymph’s identity... well, let’s set aside whether an Artificial Angel would believe in ghosts or not.

As expected, the film was as boring as Fang Zheng had anticipated. It was no different from the evening soap operas that were most loved by middle-aged and elderly women he had seen before rebirth. The plot of the entire movie involved a teacher falling in love with a student; then due to various pressures or misunderstandings, conflicts arose, and ultimately both parties resolved the misunderstandings and overcame obstacles to be together.

However, for Fang Zheng, a summary of the movie basically went like this.

The teacher and student argue, the student runs into the road, gets hit by a car, sent to the hospital, amnesia.

The teacher takes care of the student, the student goes missing, the teacher looks for the student, runs into the road, gets hit by a car, sent to the hospital, amnesia x2.

The doctor who admires the teacher takes care of both the teacher and student, the teacher and student go missing, the doctor searches for them, runs onto the road, and— the car brushes past the doctor, hits the teacher and student, and then both regain their memory.

Having regained their memory, the two felt there was nothing to fear even in death, so why the heck should they be afraid of anything else?

So they ended up together.

As for the doctor, he conceded that if even death couldn’t separate them, it must be fate. He then decisively gave up his own pursuit of love.

The end of the story.

As for why this movie was titled ”A Maiden’s Heart is Always Wet,” Fang Zheng concluded after thinking it over, that all three accidents happened on rainy nights... It seemed the director had actually considered how to explain this issue: rainy and slippery roads, the car loses control, hits someone and they fall to the ground, getting wet...

What intrigued Fang Zheng the most was the vehicles responsible for the accidents in the movie. Clearly, the director had no intention of making the film a mystery, so he specially arranged for three different groups of people to depict distinct accident-causing scenarios. Otherwise, if the same car had caused all three accidents, the audience might have mistaken it for a mystery thriller rather than a romance film.

The first group was a couple flirting while driving a sports car.

The second group was a rock group that was drunk, driving an off-road vehicle.

The third group was a tired Oka driver who fell asleep at the wheel.

Hmm... Fang Zheng had to admit, it was quite fortunate to only suffer amnesia after being hit three times in just a few dozen days.

Although Fang Zheng found the movie full of moments to mock, Little Angel seemed to have a great time watching it. Fang Zheng realized that Nymph didn’t really cry over the plot like many other viewers; on the contrary, she appeared to simply find it amusing... As for what part of the movie was actually funny, well to each their own. ƒrēeNovelFire.com

No matter what, the two of them still had a very happy time in the movie theater, but what came next was a little mishap... Little Angel had said she wanted to go shopping in the commercial district, which, of course, was the normal routine for a date. However... the world they were in was just a virtual one, and no matter how much they bought, they couldn’t take anything out...

Realizing this, Nymph felt a bit disheartened, but of course, Fang Zheng couldn’t bear to see his Little Angel so sad, and he quickly came up with a solution.

”Master, does this dress... look good?”

Stepping out from the changing room, Nymph, slightly embarrassed, tugged on the hem of her skirt. At that moment, Little Angel was dressed in a pure white sundress and a straw hat, looking quite cool and refreshing. Beneath the hem of the dress, the impeccable whiteness of Little Angel’s legs could be seen, along with feet clad in sandals revealing rounded, delicate toes...

”Mhm, it looks very nice!”

Pleased with the sight before him, Fang Zheng nodded appreciatively. Then, he took out his phone and ”click,” took a picture of Nymph, before picking up another gothic lolita dress that was beside her.

”Try this one.”

”Okay, Master.”

Typically, shopping is an activity that excites women and exhausts men. But here, it was Fang Zheng who was quite interested in dressing up Nymph, whereas Nymph herself didn’t have much opinion about these strange outfits. After all, in Little Angel’s eyes, clothes without any performance value were just plain pieces of fabric, and if not for Fang Zheng saying he wanted to see her try on different clothes, Nymph wouldn’t even give these garments a glance.

And Fang Zheng was tireless in dressing up Nymph. This was actually quite normal, as many guys in online games love to create a female character to fuss over like a daughter, swapping outfits with whatever they top-up for. What Fang Zheng was doing was pretty much the same thing, and since his relationship with Little Angel was not much different from that of a father and daughter, saying it was like siblings wasn’t wrong either. So Fang Zheng was as enthusiastic as if he were spending in an online game, taking Nymph from one store to another. Whenever he saw something suitable, he would take out his phone, snap a picture and collect it. Although these were virtual clothes that couldn’t be taken out of the game, the information could still be transferred. Later on, he could use the photos to have the clothes custom made.

Money can make anything happen.

Night fell.

Fang Zheng sat by the window, observing the brilliantly lit city outside. In his eyes, the city, swallowed by darkness and neon lights, was indistinguishable from the real world he remembered.

”Hoo...”

Thinking about this, Fang Zheng yawned. After shopping with Nymph, he took Little Angel to have dinner and then checked into a hotel room. Reflecting, Fang Zheng found Nymph a bit strange today; she rarely took the initiative to ask anything of him.

But today, Little Angel wanted to go on a date, to watch a movie, and even go shopping despite having no interest in clothes... Still, Fang Zheng found this nice. As the person who had been with him the longest, he had always wanted to do something for Little Angel. It was just unfortunate that he couldn’t intrude more without her asking. But now, since Little Angel had made a request, naturally, he would fulfill it.

”Huh...”

Leaning back in the bathtub, feeling the warm flow of water, Nymph couldn’t help but close her eyes.

”Everything went smoothly today, didn’t it... Master... You’re not angry, are you?”

Murmuring to herself, Nymph carefully pondered.

”Master seemed quite happy, it appears that Tilia was right indeed. So next would be... um, to clean myself, and then sleep with master?”

As she spoke to herself, Nymph tilted her head, showing a puzzled expression.

”But... why did Tilia say it would only hurt at first, and then it would be comfortable? Could there be something more to sleeping with master?”

In any case, she would find out when the time came.

Thinking this, Nymph rose from the bathtub and reached for the bath towel beside her.

”Click.”

”Yo, coming out?”

Upon hearing the bathroom door open, Fang Zheng turned his head toward the direction of the bathroom. He saw Nymph, dressed in her pajamas, walk out; her long hair, usually tied in a ponytail, now hung loose. Paired with her slightly reddened, fair skin after the bath, and the scent of shampoo, she exuded an added charm of girlish allure.

”Master, sorry to keep you waiting. That, um...”

Having said this, Nymph hesitated for a moment, but continued nonetheless.

”Can, can I sleep with you?”

”Eh?”

Hearing Nymph’s unexpected request, Fang Zheng was also taken aback. If he remembered correctly, Nymph was an Artificial Angel who didn’t need to sleep at all, so why did she want to sleep with him this time?

”No, is it not okay? Sorry, I...”

”No no no, I didn’t say that.”

Seeing the anxious Nymph, Fang Zheng quickly waved his hand, although he didn’t understand why she wanted to sleep with him all of a sudden. It was a rare day that the Little Angel made a request, so naturally, Fang Zheng wouldn’t refuse. After all, Nymph was a cute, soft girl – what normal man would refuse to share a bed with a soft girl?

”And... could you please hold me while we sleep?”

Recalling the suggestion Tilia gave her, Nymph made the request in a soft voice.

”Of course, that’s no problem.”

Fang Zheng naturally wouldn’t refuse Nymph’s request.

Soon, the lights went out.

The bed in the Presidential Suite was naturally soft and comfortable, but Fang Zheng could still feel the petite body in his arms was somewhat tense, seemingly quite nervous.

”Master... Thank you for today...”

”It’s nothing.”

Hearing the voice of thanks from Nymph, Fang Zheng reached out to stroke her little head.

”It’s what I should do, and I should be the one thanking you. You’ve been with me in this world for quite some time... Um, this is the first time you’ve made a request to me.”

”Sorry, master...”

Hearing this, Nymph’s voice became anxious again.

”Did I trouble you?”

”Of course not, on the contrary, I am very happy. It’s always been me asking you to do things for me, but I rarely do something for you in return. Today, at least, I’ve made some amends. After all you’re a very important companion to me. If there’s anything, don’t hesitate to tell me directly; whatever you want to do, I will help you achieve it.”

”Thank you, master.”

Fang Zheng could feel the petite body in his arms gradually relaxing.

”Good night, master, may you have pleasant dreams.”

”Good night, Nymph.”
