Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 392: Chapter 349: The Legend’s Reward

[You captured a Swablu, your musical group’s new member has increased]

Acquired the fourth member.

However, the musician did not rush to continue towards Driftveil City, instead retreating to Route 5, found a suitable place to set camp, and began training Swablu’s voice.

Singing is not an easy task, and performing together is no less challenging.

No matter how good the talent is, without training, the tunes sung would not be able to cross the threshold of the professional field.

[You start nurturing Swablu’s voice and strive to enhance its level and battling capabilities to evolve]

It is clear that the musician knows that Swablu’s vocal peak is after its evolution, into the Altaria, which is classified as the Singing Pokémon, so initially, he only cultivated Swablu on how to properly maintain a long-lasting breath, and how to precisely adjust its voice.

He did not forget to meticulously cultivate Chimecho and Maractus, albeit they do not participate in the singing segment, but the accompaniment is equally significant, moreover, they bear the important responsibility of appearing on the league stage with him.

Through the newly launched sound card feature of the simulator, Baimu also gained a superficial understanding of the music theory shown on the screen.

Gradually, time passed.

Even if it was just pixelated graphics, with the sound card newly launched in the simulator, Baimu could sense the rapid harmonization between the three new members and the musician.

The latter established a connection of mind with the Pokémon through music, accurately conveying all his emotions to the three Pokémon through tunes, transmitting all his dreams and pursuits to them.

At this moment.

[The talent of Telepathy was most directly explained.]

Swablu evolved into Altaria to no one’s surprise, while both Chimecho and Maractus, while improving their fighting skills, understood more music theory, becoming increasingly adept in accompaniment.

With one person and four Pokémon playing together, it truly had the vibe of a small band.

[You are very satisfied with the performance of the Pokémon and also very grateful for their unwavering efforts, you decide to continue forward]

Baimu, seeing this, became curious about the musician’s future Pokémon.

In the blink of an eye.

He arrived at Driftveil City.

As a port city, this place is very bustling, with a great deal of foot traffic, and a very prosperous Driftveil market, the musician swept away the gloom from Castelia City and Nimbasa City, ran to the square in front of the Driftveil Market, and began his performance under the watchful eyes of the crowd.

This time he used the saxophone, a very interesting and romantic instrument.

The tunes arose, Jigglypuff and Altaria harmonized in singing.

The beautiful voices quickly attracted a large number of passersby to gather around, and there were even people and Pokémon dancing to the cheerful tunes, the musician seemed to have elevated the entire square’s atmosphere with just one song.

Baimu felt a bit like swaying to it, but to avoid the Pokémon giving him the ”trainer is having an episode again” looks, he held it back forcibly.

The musician’s music is becoming stronger in empathy.

Isn’t it like he has opened up all his body’s energy circuits.

He remembers initially being merely startled by the sudden sound when hearing the musician’s music, not feeling any sort of way, but after starting to travel, the latter’s skill improved immensely.

Do people in the Pokémon World have travel ingrained in their genetics?

Baimu could not help doubting a little.

After searching, he was a bit surprised once more.

Pop music!

He originally thought the musician would only perform classical music handed down from old times, unexpectedly the latter had such skill, it seems like this guy’s skill pool is quite deep.

It’s a pity, this song is probably not the musician’s original creation since the creator is a female.

In the scene.

Finally not continuing under the encore of passersby, the musician rested for a night, and took the energetic Pokémon to Driftveil Gym.

The Gym Leader of Driftveil Gym, Boss Ju, dressed like a cowboy, gave the musician some sort of inspiration.

Immediately.

In this Gym Battle, the musician used the saxophone to present a fast-paced jazz tune, combined with Maractus’s rhythm-filled Needle Arm, making all of Boss Ju’s Ground Attribute Pokémon suffer.

In the end.

The Gym Battle concluded smoothly.

Even Boss Ju’s Excadrill couldn’t help falling before Maractus’s Petal Dance, even though it was the fourth Gym, it was more smooth than battling Leiwen Gym before, making Baimu realize the notable growth in the musician’s many Pokémon’s strengths.

[You defeated the Driftveil Gym Leader Boss Ju, earning the Vibration Badge, and the latter expressed deep appreciation for your innovative battling style, hoping you would perform a piece for his workers]

[You agreed]

Boss Ju is the boss of a mining development company, Mt. Rose, where Regigigas resides in the game, belongs to him, and he probably has thousands of workers under his command.

The musician obviously didn’t know this point, so he agreed readily.

It wasn’t until Boss Ju really arranged a huge stage, like a concert, that he realized he was about to perform a piece under the eyes of thousands of people.

[You looked at the dense crowd below, like returning to a once glorious music hall, where you sat in front of a piano ready to showcase your exquisite musical art. But soon your thoughts are interrupted by the noisy voices of workers urging you to start]

[You realized that those you are facing now, are no longer those upper echelon dressed in suits]
