Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 355: Chapter 338: Aquatic Combat

Buzz——

The sustained and low humming of wings was akin to tangible sound waves, driving one to distraction.

Ninjask’s figure was like a flash, appearing on the other side in an instant, circling Aggron yet daring not to approach.

”Roar...”

The Big Monster exhaled a breath mixed with sand and gravel, its attention constantly focused on its opponent.

Even if its Energy Level surpassed it by far, with the help of the Acceleration Trait, this Pokémon’s speed increased again and again, making Aggron rely solely on its Dynamic Vision to capture the opponent’s silhouette.

However, it knew well that there was no need to chase, it would only be a waste of energy.

This guy will self-destruct.

To deal with such a Pokémon, all it takes is one strike...

Aggron lowered its center of gravity, waiting for the moment Ninjask flew up to attack.

Though not cultured, it understood through a Trainer’s subtleties and real combat experiences that speed isn’t always better; the faster the speed, the more energy is required to stop!

Even using more power might not allow it to stop immediately—

Here it comes!

The deep brown streak was precisely caught by Aggron’s eye corner, and it emerged from its rear diagonal direction.

But it didn’t hastily turn around to attack, instead waiting until it could clearly feel the Attribute Energy from Ninjask’s claws before suddenly bending down and smashing its claws into the ground!

Boom!

The sand on the ground was abruptly shattered by glowing boulders, Ninjask’s slashing brown claws swung empty due to Aggron’s dodge, while a large rock suddenly thrust up in front of it.

”Squeak!”

Frightened out of its wits, Ninjask tried to change its flight direction.

But at this moment, it was too late to dodge, at its speed, even if it stopped beating its wings or even reversed, inertia would lead it to crash into the rock!

Slap!

With a light sound, Ninjask collided wildly, its movements became shaky.

”Roar—”

Aggron seized the opportunity, its mouth gathering silver light that formed a thick beam, which it spat onto the Ninjask at close range!

Boom!

The rock shattered violently, and Ninjask was blasted high into the air, only to fall helplessly, lying upside down with gently fluttering wings showing a pair of swirly eyes.

The second one, successfully taken down!

”Roar!!”

Aggron roared at the sky, seeing a machine in the sky shooting a red light and retrieving Ninjask, it immediately understood that without a Trainer, the release and retrieval of Pokémon were done by this guy.

In that case, if it just kept an eye on it, wouldn’t it be able to pinpoint the opponent’s landing spot?

Great.

Let me deal with you quickly.

Aggron posed in an offensive stance, keeping an eye on the machine above and ready to launch an attack on the landing enemy at any moment.

In a short moment.

Bang!

A Pokeball was shot out by the machine, opening mid-air and releasing a Pokémon.

”Roar!”

Aggron immediately struck the ground with its claws, and while feeling the tremor, infused Rock Attribute Energy down.

At this moment, its expression was suddenly startled.

This... this surplus feeling?

Fixed moves have limits in Attribute Energy output, they can usually be decreased but rarely increased, yet now it clearly feels like it can inject more Attribute Energy.

And the reason for this feeling is unquestionably clear!

”Roar!”

Aggron roared loudly, countless blue glowing stone pillars burst from the sand in front, continuing forward, causing the ground to tremble wildly, and dust flew all around.

[Sharp Stone Attack]!

The freshly emerged Yanmega hadn’t even had time to see its opponent clearly, before being fiercely struck in the chest and abdomen by a sharp blue stone pillar rising from the ground!

Boom!

The blue giant stone exploded, countless fragments scattered like raindrops in all directions, the piercing pain causing it to fall without uttering a sound, and its red compound eyes showed two whirlpools.

Bug plus Flying Attribute has a four-times rock weakness, and its Physical Resistance isn’t particularly high, getting hit directly by Sharp Stone Attack and still holding out would be unusual.

But aside from winning.

What made Aggron happier was successfully learning a new move.

”Roar!”

It roared at the machine behind it.

And in the room.

Baimu’s face displayed an unconcealable smile, gently clapping his hands, ”To actually comprehend Sharp Stone Attack, amazing, amazing!”

In fact, aside from spending time learning Dragon Dive, Aggron hadn’t learned a new move on its own in a long time, relying entirely on simulator rewards for moves.

Didn’t expect to comprehend Sharp Stone Attack, this powerful Rock Attribute move, during the battle tent’s preliminary match.

Aside from Double-bladed Head Hammer, among the rock physical moves it can learn, this has the strongest power.

And moreover, this is a non-contact type of move.

Second round ended.

Baimu retrieved the Pokeball, and praised the Aggron in the ball well.

If it weren’t for the room being too narrow, he would really like to let it out for some closeness, it had been a long time since he properly praised the guy.

Aggron, influenced by him, was in a rather awkward phase.

First, compared to those ahead, though its level reached seventy-one, due to the team’s strength not being comprehensive enough it was evidently hard to win against those top Gym Leaders, even if it could win one-on-one matches, it couldn’t beat their full lineup.

Furthermore, with the level reaching this point, progress significantly slowed down, in half a month it rose only one level, making it inevitable for Energy Level growth to halt completely in the future.

Second, compared to those beneath it, it stood out, its regular street battles largely victorious, it was unlikely to lose in normal Gym battles...
