Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 387: Chapter 347: Boundary Breakthrough

After all, the level reward for a champion is Level 5!

Double Blue Talent, Double Blue Talent~

Baimu rubbed his hands, then called Blissey to bring a bit of luck for the talent he was about to draw.

Though it wouldn’t shout ”lucky~lucky~” out loud, ”happy~happy~” was pretty good too.

The simulator opened.

[Choose your birth region▽]

The first four generations of regions had already been cycled through, so he silently chose Unova.

Click to select gender.

Sister Xiangfen was female, so this time it was male... Speaking of which, what’s the most unique profession in Unova? Is it a star? After all, Pokémon Hollywood is located in Unova.

There’s a huge movie factory there. Caluni may be a super actress in the Carlos Region, but when it comes to producing more film stars, Pokémon Hollywood in Unova is unparalleled.

Baimu enthusiastically clicked on Pokémon and was instantly stunned.

Jigglypuff?

He vividly remembered that Miniskirt brought him his first fortune with Jigglypuff, and he didn’t expect that the default Pokémon in this simulation was it again.

Hope it brings good luck!

Baimu took a deep breath and tapped lightly in the void with his right hand.

A string of talents suddenly appeared.

Fixed Talent:

[☆Telepathy (a profound bond with Pokémon)]

Optional Talents:

[Opt for the Best (selects better Pokémon)]

[Poor Family (raising Pokémon is a burden)]

[☆Boundary Breakthrough (Pokémon occasionally experiences a burst)]

[Physically Strong (very healthy)]

”...Whoa.”

Baimu fell into a sort of silence.

Double Blue Talent actually appeared, despite only wanting to set an unrealistic flag for himself, who knew the dream would come true.

Is this reasonable?

With these talents, there’s no need to think — just pick three or four with closed eyes, then combine the three talents... Ash Ketchum? Is it you, Unova Ash Ketchum?

It’s a pity the starter Pokémon is Jigglypuff; if it were Pikachu — wait, Unova Ash Ketchum reached the top eight, right?

Remember using a baby team to compete and lost to Uncle Hu Che. The latter is a cheater, first sending five Pokémon into battle and then evolving Riolu into Lucario at a crucial moment for a comeback.

Thinking this way, it’s better not to simulate Ash Ketchum.

Baimu quickly chose [Boundary Breakthrough] and [Physically Strong] and clicked to start the simulation.

A light screen quickly expanded.

——

[Simulation Starts]

In a crude pixel style, a dark underground music hall appeared before his eyes, with countless little figures waving glow sticks back and forth.

At the deepest part of the neon stage.

The familiar white-haired figure and several NPC characters were having an enthusiastic rock concert.

”Homiga?”

Baimu blinked and immediately recognized the white-haired figure standing at the center was Homiga, Gym Leader of Liyong Gym in Unova, skilled in Poison-type Pokémon.

Is the simulation target her band member this time?

Just as he was about to focus on the only male figure on stage — the bald drummer — he found the camera began to move upwards.

Soon, the noisy stage and hall disappeared, replaced by what appeared to be a warehouse-like lounge, where a blonde little figure was standing on a carton, holding a round Jigglypuff, trembling.

Hearts constantly popped out of the blonde figure’s head.

[At age fourteen, you and Jigglypuff were hiding in the Liyong Gym’s warehouse, secretly listening to the songs of idol Homiga, fervently hoping you could be like her, become a strong Gym Leader, and pursue your music dream with Jigglypuff]

Fourteen years old...

Baimu understood this person was likely the simulation target this time.

Musician?

Let’s call him a musician then.

He had a dream and wanted to achieve just like the chef, but being younger by a year than the chef, it seemed he would soon embark on his journey.

Suddenly.

The warehouse door was kicked open inside the light screen, and a fierce-looking little figure rushed in, grabbed the musician trying to escape with Jigglypuff.

[You unfortunately got caught by the Gym staff, despite your repeated explanation that you were not there to steal things, they still wanted to drag you to the police station]

[You told him you admired Homiga, wanted to become like her, and be a musician, not a thief. But all that returned was a sarcastic reply: ”A person sneaking around, yet wants to play music?”]

[You were unable to counter his words, feeling utterly dejected, you gave up on defending yourself]

The musician and Jigglypuff in the picture went from initial struggle and explanation, to ultimately hanging their heads in silent resignation, continuously having ellipses appear above them, looking extremely pitiful.

But.

When the man was taking the musician out of the Gym, suddenly an uncle-like pixel figure showed up beside.

The uncle said something to the man, and immediately the musician and Jigglypuff gained their freedom.

[You realized someone was speaking for you, looked up to see it’s Homiga’s father, the renowned captain of Liyong City, also known to be a famous actor]

Ah, it’s the captain who ferries people to Castelia City in the game!

Baimu vaguely recalled who he is.

Then he saw the uncle begin to chat with the musician, whose emotions shifted from initial depression to excitement, with expressions of gratitude constantly appearing on his forehead.

[You learned from Homiga’s father that chasing dreams is not wrong; only the method of pursuing dreams can be mistaken. Moreover, if you truly want to realize your dreams, don’t be swayed by others’ words]
