Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 378: Chapter 344: Flash Elf (Multi-Part Chapter!)_2

Baimu half-jokingly said, looking at the other person with some anticipation.

The chubby man’s expression stiffened, his face showing an awkward expression, ”Your request is a bit...”

”If you don’t have it, there’s nothing to be done. I don’t really need money, I’m sorry.” He nodded in acknowledgment, ready to leave with the person in charge.

Unexpectedly, a boy in a luxury car nearby suddenly spoke up.

”Shiny Feebas, big brother, if you want, I can exchange my Shiny Feebas with you.”

Though not loud, the surroundings were quiet enough for Baimu to easily hear the voice.

His steps came to a halt.

”Shiny Feebas?”

Baimu squinted skeptically, asking.

”Yes, absolutely genuine, Shiny Feebas.”

The boy nodded, opened the car door, and stepped out, proactively explaining why he wanted that Pokémon Egg so much, ”I already have a Shiny Dustox and two Altered-color Cascoon, but none of them is an Altered-color Silcoon. I hope big brother can give me this chance.”

What a good fellow.

His luck is so bad.

Baimu suddenly understood the boy’s longing for a Shiny Wurmple. After three attempts without getting an Altered-color Beautifly, even out of spite, he wanted to gamble for an Altered-color Beautifly.

”Please.”

The boy scooted close to him, suddenly making a pitiful face, hands cupped under his chin.

”...Alright.”

Baimu nodded with a reluctant expression, but inwardly he was overjoyed.

As they say, you search high and low only to find it effortlessly.

He had longed for a Shiny Feebas for so long, who would’ve thought he’d acquire it this way? Could it be the Lucky Scale’s effect?

And the ”price” to pay for getting the Shiny Feebas was winning the battle tent contest, and apprehending those two thieves. Without any of these steps, it’s unlikely he’d get the Shiny Feebas.

Of course.

If he didn’t want to exchange, he probably wouldn’t get the Shiny Feebas either.

Just as Baimu wasn’t very interested in the Shiny Wurmple and didn’t want to gamble on whether it would evolve into Cascoon or Silcoon, a swap seemed better.

Considering the young boy’s background, the Shiny Wurmple won’t be neglected.

Meanwhile.

Seeing Baimu agree, the boy instructed the chubby man to use a simple transfer device to bring over the Shiny Feebas—which rested inside a black Luxury Ball with gold trim.

A normal exchange requires a special machine to smoothly update the Illustrated Guide, but that’s when both parties have Pokeballs.

Exchanging an Egg with a Pokémon is more complex.

The boy suggested releasing the Shiny Feebas into the park’s fountain pool to verify its true form while completing the exchange.

After consideration, Baimu agreed, mainly wanting to ”inspect the goods,” and told the person in charge, ”Thank you for waiting so long, no need for compensation, if you have other matters, you can attend to them first.”

”It’s alright, you can go ahead, I’ll wait here, no problem.”

The person in charge waved his hand repeatedly.

Seeing that he insisted, Baimu didn’t argue further.

In no time.

The three of them arrived at the park’s fountain pool.

The young boy pressed the Pokeball’s button towards the pool.

Bang!

A blue light turned into a purple-skinned, gray-finned Feebas in the water, with eyecircles like rings, a skeletal face with protruding cheekbones, lips thick as sausages, and a tattered tail fin with blotchy spots.

No wonder it’s called Feebas.

”Absolutely genuine Shiny Feebas, big brother, you can raise it into an Altered-color Milotic.” The young boy said.

The Shiny Feebas swam around in the pool, its vacant gaze observing the three humans present, filled with unfamiliarity.

”It doesn’t seem to know you?”

Baimu remarked, noticing the Feebas never glanced at the boy, puzzled.

”I have many Pokémon at home, and I’m usually busy attending piano competitions and banquets, so I leave them to professional Breeders.”

The boy calmly explained.

He’s just like James...

Baimu was a bit speechless, thinking if he had no time to care for Pokémon, why keep buying various rare Pokémon, is it just an obsession with collecting?

But the boy isn’t averse to interacting with Pokémon, he just lacks the time.

After a bit of waiting, a special machine was brought over.

The boy recalled the Shiny Feebas into the Pokeball and placed it on one side, while Baimu put the Pokémon Egg connected to the incubator on the other.

On a small screen, the Egg and Shiny Feebas swiftly completed their swap.

The boy generously gifted the Luxury Ball to Baimu with a slight bow:

”I have a violin contest to attend, excuse me.”

”See you again if fate allows.”

Baimu didn’t really mind, his full attention was on the Shiny Feebas.

He released the Shiny Feebas back into the fountain pool.

Splash~

The Shiny Feebas swam around, noticing it was being watched, staring at him with vacant eyes like a Porygon.

Man and fish locked eyes.

”Hello?”

”...”

”I am your Trainer now, do you understand?”

”...”

”Seems communication might be tricky...”

He silently took out a Pokeball, speaking gently, ”Sorry, but someone is waiting for me, let’s postpone the conversation.”

”Boop~”

The Feebas blew bubbles, looking quite puzzled.

——

In front of the police station.

Baimu ran back, finding the person in charge was still patiently waiting, ”Sorry to keep you waiting.”
