Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 370: Chapter 342: Stirring the Tai Sui Earth

With the kind of attack at hand right now, which basically has no accuracy, it can dodge as many times as needed.

On the other side.

Swellow is desperately learning how to walk with its two claws. It can walk, certainly, but it can’t walk fast. There’s basically no way it can hope to get close to the nimble Chansey.

What exactly should it do...

It was anxiously trying to figure out a method, but couldn’t help but start spitting violet bubbles from the corners of its mouth.

The state of severe poisoning differs from regular poisoning, as the damage increases gradually over time. Even if Swellow uses Feather Rest to recover its strength later, it likely won’t come back.

Swellow knows this, so it’s becoming somewhat impatient.

In this rush, its increased activity ends up worsening the toxicity.

Then.

As it looked at the Chansey waiting to be attacked not far away, a thought of sacrificing oneself arose.

Since it couldn’t take down the opponent, it could at least increase the chances of victory for its teammates, just like its trainer taught in the past.

”Sss! Bang!”

Swellow began to flap its wings rapidly, and a violent wind instantly swept across the entire field.

[Clear Dense Fog]!

At that moment.

The invisible rocks in mid-air quickly manifested and shattered into countless points of light.

Chansey looked in astonishment at the shattered Invisible Rock. Even an excellent student like it couldn’t figure out what was happening right now.

Moreover.

Swellow hadn’t finished flapping its wings. After completing a move, ignoring the increasingly violet bubbles at the corners of its mouth, it continued to flap its wings even more vigorously.

Using another move?

No way!

Chansey, somewhat panicked, released Spiritual Power towards Swellow.

However, under the gravity state, Telekinesis couldn’t be used.

”Lucky!”

Upon seeing Chansey’s failed move, Swellow’s spirit suddenly soared, flapping its wings even faster and more swiftly.

”Sss! Bang!”

The opponent’s desperate demeanor made Chansey break out in a sweat, as a gentle breeze immediately descended upon the entire area.

[With the Wind]!

In the end.

Chansey could only watch as Swellow used two successive moves, still without understanding what happened, unable to discern which moves were being used.

The accumulation of knowledge proved insufficient. Knowing only the attributes and traits of all Pokémon, which were advantageous in dealing with ailments, it had yet to advance its understanding of moves.

Using Sing was also unrealistic.

The opponent was in a unique severe poison state, and Sing would have no hypnotic effect, producing no result—not that Swellow couldn’t sleep because it was poisoned, but only that it couldn’t be forcibly put to sleep using a move. The concepts differ significantly.

Similarly, Electromagnetic Wave wouldn’t have any effect.

With Telekinesis, Sing, and Electromagnetic Wave all unavailable for use, the originally calm Chansey became completely flustered.

Fortunately, after Swellow used With the Wind, the severe poison took effect, causing it to faint.

”Sss...Bang...”

Its claws twitched as it collapsed to the ground.

Although it successfully defeated the first opponent, Chansey couldn’t feel any joy, as the apprehension left by Swellow’s actions outweighed the joy of defeating it.

Something had undoubtedly changed on the field.

Chansey looked around, clearly seeing a milky-white airflow circulating around the field, as if stirring something.

”Lucky!”

It somewhat anxiously looked at the machine that returned Swellow.

In the room.

Baimu noticed that Chansey’s situation was somewhat amiss and unhesitatingly called it back.

”Don’t panic, it’s alright.”

He knew that the latter couldn’t hear him now, but he still muttered to himself softly.

One must admit that the final bit of the battle just now, when Chansey saw moves unfamiliar to it, it behaved slightly flustered. Coupled with not having moves to stop the opponent, it provided the opponent with an opportunity.

However, overall, it’s not a big deal.

Clearing hazards and speeding up, just a normal counter-response.

There’s no reason it must be one-sided with no mistakes on their part, consistently crushing the opponent. Chansey’s panic was caused by some excessive pressure. In a normal match, Baimu didn’t believe Chansey’s Spiritual Power couldn’t handle Swellow.

He believed that once Chansey calmed down, there would be no further problems.

So who should go on now?

Baimu hesitated briefly before sending out Mawile.

Seeing Chansey being withdrawn, the opposing team immediately replaced the designated Pokémon, sending the bull-like Tauros back onto the field.

”Moo!!”

It bellowed intimidatingly at Mawile.

”Tchdo?”

Mawile furrowed its brow, not seeming to be much affected emotionally by the Intimidating Trait. It glanced over the purple mucus left on the ground and the unknown milky-white airflow around the field, generally understanding that it wasn’t the first to play.

But quickly, it noticed an anomaly.

Electromagnetic Levitation couldn’t be used.

Was it the gravity from Chansey!

It wasn’t to the extent of not recognizing its teammate’s move, but this presented a bit of a problem. Its high-speed maneuverability mainly relied on Electromagnetic Levitation; its ground speed was not fast.

What should it do?

Should it perform Sword Dance and pass the baton to Aggron?

Mawile was just preparing to do so, when the opposing Tauros snorted white air from its nostrils, whipping its tail frantically against its hide to enhance its fighting spirit and charged forward.

Wind circulated between its four hooves, visually augmenting its charging speed.
